Ignored by Liberal Mainstream Media: Trump Personally Intervened to Make Sure the Coast Guard Got Paid During Shutdown
by Jim Hoft December 30, 2018
This didn’t make many headlines this week for some reason?
While Nancy Pelosi was vacationing at a posh resort in Hawaii President Trump personally intervened this week to make sure the US Coast Guard got paid during the partial shutdown.
Concerned about U.S. Coast Guard forces losing a paycheck in the partial government shutdown, President Trump personally urged his team to find a solution that would allow the administration to make this week’s $75 million payroll, according to officials.
Trump stepped in on Wednesday, calling on top lawyers and staffers to determine if the Coast Guard could make payroll despite being included in the shutdown that has impacted about 25 percent of the government, including the Department of Homeland Security, which houses the Coast Guard.
Military personnel under the Department of Defense are not included in the shutdown, because their appropriations were approved earlier in Congress.
Officials said that Trump was keen to find a “way we can fix this” as news media stories about the Coast Guardsmen’s plight started to pile up.

STUNNING REPORT! Top Email Service Providers Tossed GOP Candidates’ Emails Into Spam Folder During Election
by Jim Hoft December 30, 2018
It is common knowledge that Facebook and Twitter censor conservative content and conservative publishers and treat conservative-populist Americans like second-class citizens.
Facebook has been shutting down traffic to conservative websites since the 2016 election.
The Gateway Pundit’s Cristina Laila was recently notified by Twitter that an old tweet she posted violated Pakistani law.
Facebook eliminated at least 1.5 billion links to conservative articles since 2017. If you add additional websites like The Gateway Pundit, Infowars, Young Cons, Right Wing News, etc. the number tops 2 billion easy. It is Facebook’s gift to the Democrat Party. Facebook will never allow conservatives to use their platform as a channel of free expression.
This weekend Christian leader Franklin Graham was suspended by Facebook for a 2016 Facebook post.
And now this…
A recent report by imge. found that top US email service providers were sending emails from Republican candidates to the spam folder.
Gmail, Yahoo and AOL.com were all sending emails from GOP candidates directly to the spam folder.
100% Fed Up has the details from this shocking report.

There are few aspects of the Christmas story more enchanting than the visit of the magi to Bethlehem. The tale of three mystics from Asia, Africa and Persia, who follow a magical star on a long and perilous journey to present rich gifts to a peasant child has everything the lover of fairy tales could wish for: a quest, exotic foreigners, the mystery, magic and the majesty of antiquity.
Recently, President of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Franklin Graham reported being banned from Facebook because of a 2-year-old post.
It seemed to be one more in a long list of suspected censorship attacks against conservatives.
But Graham knew just how to respond.
Last week I was banned from posting on @Facebook for 24 hrs because of a 2016 post about NC’s House Bill 2 (bathroom bill). They said the post went against their “community standards on hate speech.” Facebook is making & changing the rules. 1/2 https://t.co/HYIgErnp3J
.@Facebook is censoring free speech. They’re making & changing the rules. Truth is truth. God made the rules & His Word is truth. The free exchange of ideas is part of our country’s DNA. You can read the post that Facebook took down last week here: 2/2 https://t.co/SIbgivZjTo
But now it seems Facebook has taken heed. On Sunday, Graham shared the news on his Twitter account that the social media platform apologized to him and admitted his post did not violate its rules, after all.
He could have gloated or ripped on the tech giant for being so quick to act without facts. Instead, he accepted its apology.
Thank you to @Facebook for the apology, the admission that my April 9, 2016 post didn’t go against your Community Standards, and the corrective action taken. @FoxNews has asked me to be on this morning at 9:20 to discuss this issue. pic.twitter.com/dtFGtLOtIB
But he didn’t completely let company off the hook for it. “(But) I think (the banning) was just really a personal attack towards me.”
In addressing the seeming bias in Facebook’s banning of him, Graham offered the tech giant some words of advice.
“Facebook’s a private company and they can certainly do what they want,” he said. “But (Facebook CEO) Mark Zuckerberg said Facebook is a platform for all ideas. I encourage Facebook to have a standard that doesn’t move.”
Graham then added some details about what such a standard could look like. He used free speech and the Bible as his guide.
Do you agree with Franklin Graham on how Facebook should change its policy?
“They ought to just come up with a standard based on God’s word that applies to all people everywhere. Let (Facebook) be a platform for all ideas.”
Graham was quick to add that while he supports free speech he does see a problem with certain speech. He is in agreement with Facebook on at least in one part of its policy.
“I’m against hate speech, I’m against people using Facebook to incite violence against someone, that’s terrible,” he said.
Graham’s point about Facebook coming up with “a standard that doesn’t move” is something many users, on both sides of the political aisle, could get behind.
The best way for users to be in compliance with rules is for them to be clearly stated and uniformly enforced.

On Sunday President Trump agreed with “President and Mrs. Obama” that a wall is needed on the southern border just like on his mansion!
President and Mrs. Obama built/has a ten foot Wall around their D.C. mansion/compound. I agree, totally necessary for their safety and security. The U.S. needs the same thing, slightly larger version!

Counter-terrorism police have been called in to help protect people working in the meat industry from increasingly extreme protests by militant vegans.
Farms, abattoirs and factories have been subjected to vandalism, and owners and staff sent death threats during an alarming increase in incidents.
In one case, protesters accused Jewish workers at a kosher abattoir of being ‘Nazis’.
Police already have a long history of dealing with animal-rights activists who target those involved in the meat industry. But now officers are concentrating on vegans.
The vegan food industry has seen a rapid growth in popularity, with leading supermarkets now stocking vegan ranges.
The market is estimated to be worth £443 million in Britain alone. But a minority of vegan campaigners want the UK to become a meat-free society and are going to extreme lengths to achieve their goal.
The National Pig Association and the British Poultry Council are among the organisations being advised by specialist police.
Facebook issued an apology for banning the Rev. Franklin Graham from posting on the social networking site for 24 hours and censoring one of his posts, a Facebook spokesperson announced Saturday.
The spokesperson told the Charlotte Observer that a member of Facebook’s 15,000-member content review team banned Graham’s account over a 2016 post he made about North Carolina’s House Bill 2 because it violated the social networking site’s policy on “dehumanizing language.”
The post in question referred to rocker Bruce Springsteen’s comments calling House Bill 2— also known as the bathroom bill— a step “backwards instead of forwards.”
“He says the NC law #HB2 to prevent men from being able to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms is going ‘backwards instead of forwards,’” Graham’s post from 2016, which referred to Springsteen, reads. “Well, to be honest, we need to go back! Back to God. Back to respecting and honoring His commands.”
Graham announced on Facebook Friday that administrators temporarily banned him from posting on the site and removed the post in question over the past week, criticizing the social media giant for “policing speech”:
Shortly after Graham’s post went viral, Facebook administrators apologized to Graham.
A Facebook spokesperson said Saturday the company issued an apology to the administrator of Graham’s Facebook page and restored the post in question.
Graham, in true Christian fashion, announced Sunday he would accept the social media giant’s apology and encouraged everyone— including those who work at Facebook— “to stand on God’s Word and His truth”:
The Christian evangelist also posted a screenshot of Facebook’s apology, which stated that his post did not “go against” the site’s “Community Standards”:
President Donald Trump has been busy this year reversing many of the burdensome energy regulations and policies of the Obama era that have hurt Americans and American businesses.
Here are Trump’s top seven energy victories in 2018 through his America-First agenda:
• On August 21, 2018, Trump introduced the Affordable Clean Energy rule that dismantled the Obama administration’s federal rules over the nation’s coal production and gives authority to the states.
“Some states, like California, may propose even harsher targets. But others, such as coal-rich states like West Virginia and Pennsylvania, are likely to loosen emissions regulations that coal industry leaders have called burdensome and expensive,” National Geographic reported.
•On September 18, the Trump administration announced final new rollbacks to reducing requirements for oil and gas companies to monitor and mitigate methane from wells and other production sources.
National Geographic noted that Obama’s last-minute 2016 rule would cost the oil and gas industries $530 million by 2025.
• On October 24, the Trump administration’s Department of Interior announced that it would allow the first oil and gas production in waters of the U.S. Arctic. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management issued a conditional permit to Hilcorp, which hopes to extract 60,000 to 70,000 barrels per day from as many as 16 wells on the island — a total haul of 80 million to 130 million barrels over 15 to 20 years. Oil will be transported by an underwater pipeline.
“Responsibly developing our resources, in Alaska especially, will allow us to use our energy diplomatically to aid our allies and check our adversaries,” then-Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said about the announcement. ”That makes America stronger and more influential around the globe.”
• On November 30, the Trump administration permitted five oil and gas companies to use seismic airgun blasts to detect lucrative oil and gas deposits that may exist under the ocean floor off theU.S. east coast, from New Jersey to Florida.
“The proposal was shot down by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management in 2017 after it was deemed unsafe for marine life, but a recent review by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) concluded the blasts could be done without significantly threatening the population status of threatened or endangered species,” National Geographic reported.
• On December 6, the Trump administration announced it was putting plans in place to protect the once-endangered sage grouse but also allow millions of acres of public lands to benefit Americans in the states where the birds live,” Breitbart News reported. This includes plans to allow more oil and gas drilling, mining, and other activities.
“I completely believe that these plans are leaning forward on the conservation of sage grouse,” Interior Deputy Secretary David Bernhardt told the Associated Press. ”Do they do it in exactly the same way? No. We made some change in the plans and got rid of some things that are simply not necessary.”
•On December 6, the Trump administration announced it would lift some restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions from coal power plants.
“Consistent with President Trump’s executive order promoting energy independence, EPA’s proposal would rescind excessive burdens on America’s energy providers and level the playing field so that new energy technologies can be a part of America’s future,” EPA Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler said. “By replacing onerous regulations with high, yet achievable, standards, we can continue America’s historic energy production, keep energy prices affordable, and encourage new investments in cutting-edge technology that can then be exported around the world.”
• On December 11, the Trump administration announced its new Waters of the World rule, which gave power back to the states to “develop, build and invest in projects that improve the environment and the lives of their fellow citizens.”
“The U.S. is the gold standard for clean air and clean water. We reached that point through private sector innovation and cooperation between Washington and the states to implement our nation’s environmental laws,” EPA Acting Administrator Wheeler wrote in an op-ed in the Kansas City Star. “The Obama EPA’s 2015 definition upset that balance. The Trump administration’s proposal would respect the limits of federal authority and give hardworking Americans the freedom and certainty they need to do what they do best: develop, build and invest in projects that improve the environment and the lives of their fellow citizens.”
The Journal of Energy and Natural Resources Law came up with a list of the thrust of Trump’s executive orders on energy:
These executive actions … include:
• requiring that for every regulation promulgated, two must be eliminated;
• requiring agencies to establish regulatory reform task forces;
• freezing the issuance of all regulations for a set period so they can be re-reviewed by the new Administration;
• directing the Secretary of Commerce to establish a broader regulatory reform plan after considering public input; and
• directing various agencies to ‘suspend, revise or rescind’ several rules thought to potentially burden the development of domestic energy resources.
The lengthy report concluded, “The foundation of the America First energy policy is straightforward: pursue policies that (1) promote American energy independence, and (2) create American jobs.”
Sunday on WAAY’s “Guerrilla Politics,” Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) said the government shutdown will end when the amount of “American blood” on the hands of Democratic leadership becomes overwhelming.
Brooks said, “It is a very tough position that the Democrats have put us in. On the one hand you have got thousands of Americans who are dead each year because of the Democrats’ refusal to secure the border. Those Americans are dying either because they have been murdered by illegal aliens, vehicular homicides by illegal aliens or the illegal narcotics that are shipped into the country by illegal aliens and their drug cartels with the drug overdoses that are in the tens of thousands of lost American lives per year.”
He continued, “So the question is going to be how much blood, American blood, you have to have on the hands of the Democrats leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer before they will help us with border security? Or is their craving for power such that they are willing to accept the loss of American lives?”
It has to hurt the establishment media outlets when they have to publish something that is favorable to President Donald Trump. It seems that virtually everything put out by them is bashing him, so when they don’t it can come as a surprise.
The Associated Press, which has taken a decidedly anti-Trump tone since even before he was elected president, has just published good news for the commander in chief. The news agency’s own APVoteCast poll shows high support for Trump from veterans.
The poll revealed that “Nearly 6 in 10 military veterans voted for Republican candidates in the November midterm elections, and a similar majority had positive views of President Donald Trump’s leadership.” This high support may not come as a surprise to anyone on the right, but the left may find it bothersome.
Veterans on President Trump’s handling of Border Security – 62% Approval Rating. On being a strong leader – 59%. AP Poll. Thank you!
The poll was conducted by surveying “more than 115,000 midterm voters — including more than 4,000 current and former service members.” The bad news, and there is some, is that men supported Trump in a higher proportion than women, according to the poll.
That fits the left’s narrative, but does not match what many observe on social media and at rallies. Trump has a large base of support from women, but the poll respondents differed from that.
The poll results showed that of the respondents, “58 percent of female veterans disapproved of Trump, which is similar to the share of women overall (61 percent).” Despite this, overall Trump had a lot of support in regards to his job performance.
But that was not all. He also got a lot of overall support for the way he has handled the border security and wall issues.
Are you or do you know a veteran who supports President Trump?
That, too, likely will not go over well with the left. But Marine veteran Joey Jones appeared on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday with an explanation for why Trump has veteran support, particularly in those areas.
“We look at that places we’re deployed … and we see how the rest of the world lives, and when we come home we actually have a renewed respect for what this country is,” he said.
He also pointed to how Trump keeps his promises.
Then Jones spoke of other issues that would score well with veterans in regards to Trump.
“President Trump has gone a long way with things like VA accountability and the Veterans Choice (Program), but even those two things, they sound a lot better than they are effective.”
The current AP poll results are similar to those of Pew Research from May 2017. In that survey, “In April, 54% of those who have served in the military approved of his job performance. Trump’s job approval among the overall public was just 39%, according to the same survey.”
In that poll, Trump did well with veterans regardless of age. Level of education also did not seem to make a difference in regards to support for Trump from veterans.
Interestingly, among both veterans and the general public, Trump did have some support from Democrats, although it was small.
“The April survey found that 98% of veterans who identify as Republicans approve of Trump; among Democratic veterans, the share was just 10%. Among the public overall, 86% of Republicans approve of Trump, compared with only 9% of Democrats.”
Something interesting in the AP poll is that Trump also defied the left’s narrative with support across racial divides. Among white, 62 percent of veterans approve of him versus 49 percent of nonveterans, Latinos 53 of veterans versus 28 percent of nonveterans, and African-Americans, 22 percent of veterans versus 10 percent of nonveterans.
So it seems that no matter what narrative liberals attempt to push, Trump continues to defy the odds and prove them wrong.
This latest news may be argued by the left, but the facts remain that Trump has continued to garner support from a variety of demographical groups, including veterans and minorities.
