Illegal Immigrant Allegedly Kicks Border Patrol Agent in Head During Arrest

An illegal immigrant allegedly kicked a U.S. Border Patrol agent in the head during an arrest.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials reported that Rio Grande Valley Sector agents came upon a group of migrants who had illegally crossed the border from Mexico on Friday morning. As the agents attempted to take the group into custody, one became combative.

During the fight, the migrant allegedly kicked the Border Patrol agent in the head. The blow caused a laceration on the agent’s forehead. The agents got control of the migrant and placed him under arrest for immigration violations and for attacking a federal agent.

The injured agent was taken to a hospital where doctors treated him for the laceration and released him.

Border Patrol agents are among the most assaulted of all federal law enforcement officers. During the first 11 months of Fiscal Year 2018, the number of assault incidents against Border Patrol agents increased 18 percent, Breitbart Texas reported.

A report released this week by U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveals that Border Patrol agents were the target of various types of assaults 619 times between October 1, 2017, and August 31, 2018. While the number of agents assaulted dropped by eight percent from Fiscal Year 2017, the number of assault incidents actually increased by 18 percent. In Fiscal Year 2017, CBP officials reported 286 incidents of assault compared to 338 in Fiscal Year 2018, the report states.

Agents are frequently attacked with rocks and other forms of physical violence including gunfire and vehicular assaults.

“U.S. Border Patrol agents are the most frequently assaulted and most frequently injured federal law enforcement officers,”  El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Aaron A. Hull during the groundbreaking of a new border wall segment in El Paso, Texas, last month. “We’ve seen time and time again that the addition of serious infrastructure creates a safer environment for our people to operate. It also creates a safer community on both sides of the border.”

Students Call For USC Professor To Be Fired For Saying ‘Accusers Sometimes Lie’

A professor at the University of Southern California has come under fire after sending a reply-all email last week to the student body stating "accusers sometimes lie."
"If the day comes you are accused of some crime or tort of which you are not guilty, and you find your peers automatically believing your accuser, I expect you find yourself a stronger proponent of due process than you are now," Professor James Moore wrote in the email. "Accusers sometimes lie."

Kavanaugh’s First Action As Supreme Court Justice Makes History, And Dems Won’t Like It

Brett Kavanaugh made history on Sunday with his first actions as a newly sworn-in Supreme Court justice: He appointed an all-female law clerk staff.
After a vicious, hyperpartisan "circus" of a confirmation process, the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh Saturday in a bipartisan vote of 50-48, which included West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin and key swing-vote Republicans Susan Collins and Jeff Flake (Lisa Murkowski voted "present").

Failed Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton: Brett Kavanaugh Could Bring Back Slavery

Hillary is channeling Joe Biden.

Via Daily Wire:

It was only a matter of time before failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, and it appears to have been time she spent working on a top notch critique: that Kavanaugh could return the United States to the days of slavery.

Speaking to the American Federation of Teachers Friday night, Clinton warned of “devastating consequences” if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the bench.

“Let me say a word about the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” Clinton said in her speech. “This nomination holds out the threat of devastating consequences for workers rights, civil rights, LGBT rights, women’s rights — including those to make our own health decisions.”

“It is a blatant attempt by this administration to shift the balance of the Court for decades and to reverse decades of progress,” Clinton continued.

And that’s where she landed on her new strategy of attack: warning of a return to the agrarian pre-Civil War America.

“I used to worry that they [the Republicans] wanted to turn the clock back to the 1950s. Now I worry they want to turn it back to the 1850s,” Clinton said.

WATCH: Lindsey Graham throws down the gauntlet, challenges Chuck Schumer in fiery interview

Democrats have already threatened to investigate — or even try to impeach — Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh should they retake control of the House after November’s midterm elections.
On Sunday, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) responded to the news by throwing down a challenge to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

What did Graham say?

At first, when asked about the threat, made primarily by Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) who is the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, Graham vowed to campaign against his congressional colleagues in the run up to November’s elections, something he said he’s never done before.
"I’ve never campaigned against a colleague in my life. That’s about to change. I’m gonna go throughout this country and let people in these, you know, purple states, red states where Trump won know what I think about this process," Graham said on "Fox News Sunday."
Then host Chris Wallace asked Graham about a list he brought on set. Wallace was referring to the list of potential Supreme Court nominees that President Donald Trump released last year.
"What’s your point?" Wallace asked.
Graham responded with force, issuing a direct challenge to Schumer.
"Here’s my point. This is a list that was compiled in November, but [Trump] actually put it out during the campaign. There are 20-something people on this list. I’m asking Chuck Schumer: name five, name three, name one that would be okay with you," Graham said.
He explained:

Brett Kavanaugh was a mainstream judge. I would have chose him if I’d been president. Bush supported him. Everybody running for president on our side believed that Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch were outstanding conservative jurists.
The other side wants to cancel the election. So Chuck, you want somebody new? Look at this list, and see if there’s anybody you agree to — but what you want to do, Senator Schumer, is to overturn the election and you pick the judges. We’re not gonna let you pick the judges. If you wanna pick judges, then you need to win the White House.
When Obama won, I voted for two judges that he picked. So Chuck Schumer, name one person on this list you think’s acceptable.

Police Union Refuses to Endorse Warren Over Her Attacks on Law Enforcement

One of Boston’s largest police unions has refused to endorse Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) in her bid for re-election this year, citing the senator’s "derogatory" attacks on law enforcement.

Last week, the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association announced it could not support Warren because her tenure in the Senate and comments rebuking the criminal justice system as "racist" prove she doesn’t "stand" with law enforcement, according to the Boston Herald.

The union, which represents over 1,500 law enforcement officers, has opted to endorse Warren’s Republican challenger, Geoff Diehl, instead.

"We hope (this endorsement) helps get him elected," the union’s president Mike Leary said. "We stand with the people who stand with us and Elizabeth Warren has made derogatory comments to law enforcement and we can’t stand with her for that."

In a statement released by the Diehl campaign highlighting the group’s backing, Leary added that when it came to public safety and the issues important to law enforcement officers the difference between the two candidates was sufficiently defined.

"The choice is very clear," Leary said. "We have an advocate who will fight for Boston police … as opposed to someone who undermines our efforts to keep neighborhoods safe."

In August, Warren lambasted the criminal justice system as racist "from front to back" during a question and answer session hosted by Rep. Cedric Richmond (D., La.) at Dillard University in New Orleans.

"The hard truth about our criminal justice system, it’s racist," Warren said. "And when I say our system, I mean all the way. I mean front to back…on the front end—what you declare to be illegal—[and] on how you enforce it, on who gets arrested."

The senator’s comments triggered widespread condemnation from town hall attendees, elected officials, and police officers, alike.

Her remarks even elicited a rare censure from Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the country’s top law enforcement official who has made restoring "officer morale" a top priority of the Trump Justice Department. Citing the fact that too many political leaders took law enforcement officers for granted, Sessions castigated Warren’s "slur" as not just "wrong" but "sad" as well.

"Earlier this week, a U.S. Senator called our justice system ‘racist,’" Sessions said at the time. "This is a slander of every law officer and every prosecutor in America. And, frankly, I think it is an insult to their families and to the crime victims they have helped to face their attacker."

Warren’s remarks surrounding race and the criminal justice system also come amid an uptick in the level of violence perpetrated against police officers.

As denoted by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, the number of federal, state, and local law enforcement personnel that perished in the line of duty throughout the first six months of 2018 was 12 percent higher than the number on record for the same period in the preceding year.

In accepting the union’s endorsement, Diehl expressed that law enforcement needed a strong voice in Congress to ensure they have the adequate resources required to tackle crime and preserve public safety.

"They need a senator who will have their back not throw them under the bus to score political points. Warren calls them racists," Diehl said. "I call them heroes."

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: The Party of Trump Wins Street Brawl

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: The Party of Trump Wins Street Brawl

by Assistant Editor
October 7, 2018

By Wayne Allyn Root

As I write this column, the GOP has won the most brutal political battle in history. Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed to the Supreme Court. President Trump wins again.

Here are the lessons and winners of this epic, historic battle.

First, America always does the right thing…but only after exhausting every other option.

Second, the biggest winner is President Trump. Notch another victory on his belt. The score after about 21 months in office is Trump 100, Democrats 0. Against all odds, Trump just keeps winning.

Remember this week Trump also won the Mexico-Canada trade battle; unemployment dropped to the lowest level since 1969; Hispanic unemployment dropped to the lowest ever; manufacturing jobs growth was the best since 1995; and Trump’s approval rating soared to 51% at Rasmussen. Polls show Republicans pulling away in Senate races across the country. Add in the Kavanaugh victory and this was the best week of the Trump presidency.

Trump continues to teach us all lessons about #WINNING. In Trump’s world, it’s all about the fight and your fighting spirit. It’s all about your ability to bare-knuckles brawl.

This battle for the Supreme Court played out exactly like my upcoming book, “TRUMP RULES.” My book isn’t about politics. It’s about the rules that have empowered President Trump to become one of the greatest achievers and winners in history. The “Trump Rules” are simple. Winning isn’t about brains, or IQ, or brilliant ideas, or unique strategy.

Winning is all about being a relentless fighter. Being a bulldog. Being a bull in a china shop. It’s about fighting spirit. It’s about believing in yourself and your goals. It’s about fighting so hard, so passionately, you never let go until victory is achieved.

It’s about who wants it more. Trump always wants it more.

That’s what Trump is all about- the fight. Sure, you get bruised and battered and slandered. Sure, it hurts. But anything worth having, is worth fighting for.

Trump proved it in the 2016 election. He was attacked, denigrated, slandered, humiliated more than any politician in world history. But he never backed down. Instead he doubled down. He came right back at his critics. Winston Churchill said, “When you find yourself in hell, just keep going.” Trump just kept going…and fighting.

And after being called all those bad names, and all that slander, for the rest of all-time, he’s called “President Donald J. Trump.” Was it worth it? You bet it was.

Churchill also said, “Never, never, never, ever give up, or give in.” That rule is more important than anything else. It’s the reason Trump keeps getting his brains beat in and yet always comes out ahead. He’s bloody, dizzy, staggering, but his arms are raised in victory. You can’t beat Trump, because you can’t outlast Trump.

The other big winner was Brett Kavanaugh. The vicious, soulless, American left tried to destroy him, ruin him, eviscerate him. They never imagined a wimpy, middle-aged, judge from Yale had it in him to fight back like a no-holds-barred, street brawler. But Kavanaugh studied Trump, he learned from Trump.

All his brilliance, eloquence and fancy Yale education didn’t win the Supreme Court for Kavanaugh. He had to take off the suit, get down in the mud and fight for it. For the first time in history, we witnessed a judge fight like a no-holds-barred, bare-knuckles brawler. Like Trump.

Kavanaugh channeled the “Trump Rules.” If you want something in life you’ve got to fight for it. Just as Trump proved, once you’re on the other side of the battle, with your hands raised, it was all worth it. The ugliness, lies and slander are all forgotten. All that matters is they call you, “Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.”

The final winner was the entire GOP. Republicans have always been the party of wimps, cowards and “nice guys who finish last.” Trump changed all that.

This isn’t your father’s GOP. This is the party of Trump. The GOP has gone from a party of guys wearing green pants with a yellow shirt, going golfing at the country club with Muffie and Chip, to a party of brawlers, head-bangers and New York street fighters.

Now Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley, Lindsey Graham and even (gulp) Susan Collins are all bar-room brawlers. They’ve all clearly learned from Trump.

Heck, even our judges are willing to get in the ring and go 12 rounds! Everything has changed because of the “Trump Rules.”

I’m from the streets of New York. This is my kind of political party! Thank Goodness this is now Trump’s Party.

Blame Game: Avenatti and Dems Turn on Each Other After Kavanaugh Confirmation

Blame Game: Avenatti and Dems Turn on Each Other After Kavanaugh Confirmation

So, Judge Kavanaugh is now Justice Kavanaugh, which means it’s time for the American left to stop their fusillade against Republican senators and, like always, assemble into a circular firing squad of enmity.

The mutually assured destruction now features a battle between the staid Democrats, who just took advantage of people who said they were victims of sexual assaults because they wanted to stop a Supreme Court nominee, and lawyer Michael Avenatti, who took advantage of people who said they were victims of sexual assaults because he wanted to be more famous.

In an article published by CNN Saturday, Democrats both named and unnamed say that the flamboyant lawyer made their case less credible thanks to his client Julie Swetnick, who claimed that Brett Kavanaugh and his friends ran a sort of “gang rape” cabal where women were plied with alcohol at teenage parties. She would later back away from some of these claims.

“Christine Blasey Ford had just revealed her identity and was prepared to testify in public, detailing her allegations that Kavanaugh had tried to sexual assault her more than three decades ago. On top of that, a New Yorker article had just revealed that a second woman, Deborah Ramirez, was accusing Kavanaugh of exposing his genitals to her while they were college students,” CNN reported.

“Then came Michael Avenatti.

“The combative lawyer, who represents Stormy Daniels and has been a ubiquitous presence on cable television, revealed a stunning new allegation: A woman, Julie Swetnick, said she had witnessed the Supreme Court nominee attending more than 10 house parties between 1981 and 1983 where Kavanaugh and his friend, Mark Judge, were present. At some of those parties, she alleged, Kavanaugh was ‘fondling and grabbing girls without their consent’ and, along with others, spiking drinks to force girls to lose their inhibitions.”

Not only was there no corroboration here, it turns out Swetnick wasn’t terribly reliable. Now, Democrats say that Swetnick’s claims hurt their cause.

“Well you know at some point there were a lot of folks coming forward making all sorts of accusations,” Sen. Gary Peters, a Michigan Democrat, told CNN.

“It turns it into a circus atmosphere and certainly that’s not where we should be.”

Do you think Michael Avenatti wrecked the Democrats’ case?

Peters, asked whether Avenatti helped their cause, said that, “I think we should have focused on the serious allegations that certainly appeared very credible to me that would be our best course of action.”

Off the record, senior Democrats were more candid. One Senator said that Avenatti’s involvement was “(n)ot helpful at all. I think Susan (Collins) was always (voting) yes, but Avenatti was a useful foil.”

Another Democrat aide said Avenatti should have just focused on his quixotic run for the presidency and left the actual politicking to them.

“Democrats and the country would have been better off if Mr. Avenatti spent his time on his Iowa vanity project rather than meddling in Supreme Court fights,” one aide said.

“His involvement set us back, absolutely.”

RELATED: Watch: Swetnick Ex-Boyfriend Reveals Terrifying Death Threats She Sent Him

Avenatti, meanwhile, remained Avenatti-esque.

“It is outrageous that these so-called Democrats would attack a sexual assault victim from coming forward,” Avenatti said in response.

“I guess their position is that she should have shut her mouth and remained silent? It is disgusting that these cowards blame my client and the other accusers from coming forward.”

It’s funny that Avenatti and the Democrats are now at war over the Kavanaugh debacle; these two parties deserve each other. Circuses attract clowns, and Avenatti is the biggest clown of all. While he might be cute on basic cable at two in the afternoon, raving and ranting about how he’s going to take down the president, that doesn’t play so well when he gets involved in the actual political machinery of the nation.

It isn’t that Avenatti’s charges are so materially different from what Senate Democrats presented. Swetnick’s case was uncorroborated as well and involved a topic that was designed to make headlines and defame a Supreme Court nominee. The difference was that, like everything Avenatti touches, it was just a little bit more debased than everything else being pushed by the Democrats. He was like a caricature of the entire process.

So, in the end, what did the Democrats expect? Once they let Avenatti run loose inside the funhouse, this was bound to happen. Let the circular firing squad commence.

Parents Deploy Their Own Brand of Justice After ‘Mean Girls’ Falsely Accuse Their Son of Sexual Assault

There is a reason so many American families supported Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, despite the left’s best attempts to derail it.

Liberals didn’t take into account two things when they orchestrated a campaign to falsely accuse the judicial nominee of sexual assault.

The first is that there would be a majority of Americans across the country who care deeply about the justice of presumed innocence over presumed guilt; the other is that not all women who make accusations of sexual assault are telling the truth.

For those of us who are parents of daughters, our concerns are for their safety and protection, of course.

For those of us who are parents of sons, our concerns are for their safety and protection, of course.

TRENDING: Hollywood #MeToo Figurehead Finally Turns Against Her ‘Love’ Bill Clinton

The latter is the focus of another drama that is playing out in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh. And it might also be the outcome all parents of sons feared would escalate if Democrats succeeded in undoing the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh.

According to WPXI News in Pittsburgh, Michael J. and Alecia Flood, the parents of a high school-aged boy identified only as T.F., filed a civil lawsuit on Monday in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh against the Seneca Valley School District in Butler County, District Attorney Richard Goldinger, and the parents of five teenage “mean girls” who falsely accused the boy of sexual assault.

The suit alleges “that school officials and Goldinger’s office didn’t take any action against the girls even after learning their accusations were false,” according to WPXI News.

Are these parents making the right move by suing their son’s accusers?

The parents who filed the suit say the “mean girls” conspired to falsely accuse their son of sexual assault which resulted in several unfair consequences.

WPXI reported the girls “conspired in person and via electronic communication devices to falsely accuse T.F. of sexual assault on two occasions.”

WXPI also reported that T.F. was fired from his job at the Zelienople Community Pool where he was employed at the time of the allegations and “…forced to endure multiple court appearances, detention in a juvenile facility, detention at home, loss of his liberty, and other damages until several of the girls reluctantly admitted that their accusations were false.”

Breitbart also reported: “The suit also alleges that the boy was subjected to months of bullying from other kids at school.”

Penn Live reported one example of bullying listed in the suit the boy suffered: “The lawsuit said students last year placed masking tape with the word ‘PREDATOR’ written on it on his back without his knowledge during choir practice.”

RELATED: Blame Game: Avenatti and Dems Turn on Each Other After Kavanaugh Confirmation

In the original 27-page complaint filed against T.F., the teen girls accused him of two different instances of sexual assault – one at the Zelienople Community Pool and another at a private home.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette quoted the Floods’ attorney Craig Fishman on Thursday as saying, “The system right now is biased against men.”

As a father of two adult daughters, according to the newspaper, Fishman said he supported the advancement of the #MeToo movement, but said in this case, things had gone too far.

“They discriminated against the boy based solely on his gender,” Fishman told the Post-Gazette.

And isn’t that what is going through the minds of many parents of boys?

If they could take down a highly qualified Supreme Court nominee with mere accusations that had no basis in physical evidence or fact, it would certainly be a cake walk to ruin lives with false accusations against boys, men across the country. What a frightening possibility.

The left went too far in believing it could rally in the court of public opinion the advancement an agenda that collapses the constitutional principles and the presumption of innocence.

Let’s hope justice prevails in Pennsylvania.
