New York Times Admits Experts Were Wrong About Trump’s Iran Policy. America Is Winning.

There are those who believe that The New York Times is biased against President Donald Trump. Some would even say it is a source of “fake news.”

To them, this gem from The New York Times may come as quite the shocker. In a tweet referring to an article they published, The New York Times actually gives Trump some credit for a smart policy move:

In the article, they note that there were two particular concerns when Trump announced a withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.

“If Mr. Trump’s approach worked too well, oil prices would spike and hurt the American economy. If it failed, international companies would continue trading with Iran, leaving the Islamic Republic unscathed, defiant and free to restart its nuclear program.”

TRENDING: Sex Story Backfiring. Dems Get Bad News from RINO Vital To Stopping Kavanaugh

They go on to state that “the policy has been effective without either of those nasty consequences, at least so far.” They have come to the conclusion that Trump was right, “so far,” based on certain observable factors.

First, oil prices. “Remarkably, the price of oil in the United States has risen only modestly while gasoline prices have essentially remained flat. The current global oil price hovers around $80 a barrel, $60 below the highs of a decade ago.”

This may be related to the fact that Iran’s own exports are declining. Even oil companies in counties that still want to work with Iran on the nuclear deal have been “bailing out of deals with Tehran.”

According to CNBC, French energy giant Total CEO Patrick Pouyanne said, “Large energy companies cannot risk doing business in Iran in light of U.S. sanctions on the country.”

Was President Trump right to pull the U.S. out of the Iran Nuclear Deal?

He told CNBC, “There’s not a single international company like Total who can work in any country with secondary sanctions. I don’t have the right. It’s just the reality of the world. The reality is that the capital of the world today is in the hands of the U.S.”

“Is it right that in this world the U.S. (is) using that … to impose some rules for other countries? That’s a debate.”

Total is not the only company that sees working with Iran without a waiver from the U.S. wouldn’t make financial sense. The New York Times wrote, “The Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a conservative Washington think tank, found that 71 foreign companies planned to withdraw from Iran, 19 intended to stay and 142 were undecided or hadn’t said as of early September.”

The foundation’s director of research, David Adesnik, explained, “Big international companies have to ask themselves what risks are they willing to take on. Even if you don’t have a business in the U.S. you can be cut off from our financial system, and that’s not something a truly global firm can afford.”

Pouyanne told CNBC why the U.S. held the cards when it came to international trade with Iran. “The U.S. could decide that I could not have access to any U.S. financing. It’s impossible, let me be clear, to run an international company like Total without having access to U.S. financing or to U.S. shareholding.”

RELATED: Rubio Unloads on Kerry over Meeting With Iranian Officials, Demands Answers from DOJ

As an example of how devastating a refusal of U.S. financing could be to an international company, he shared data on Total’s financing situation. The numbers are eye-opening.

CNBC reported, “U.S. banks are involved in about 90 percent of the company’s financing operations, while American investors account for more than 30 percent of its shareholding. The company has more than $10 billion deployed in U.S. operations.”

“By comparison, Total spent less than 40 million euros, or roughly $46 million, on its project developing the massive South Pars natural gas field in Iranian waters.” Other international companies may have similar circumstances, which would explain why so many are now playing ball with the U.S. on the Iran sanctions.

So, America is winning, yet again, thanks to Trump. Some credit his “4D chess skills,” but others would simply point to “the Art of the Deal” and his many decades of experience on the international business front as the reason why his strategy is working so far.

Kavanaugh Accuser’s Lawyer Has a Not-So-Hidden Connection to George Soros

If you still have any friends who think the drama surrounding the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is not politically motivated, please share this story with them. This may change their minds.

OK, so we can give the benefit of the doubt and muse that maybe Democrats just wanted to be thorough when they requested thousands of pages of documents relating to Kavanaugh’s career during the Bush administration.

And maybe Sen. Corey Booker was just grandstanding and mugging for cameras to boost a possible 2020 presidential run when he threatened to unleash information about Kavanaugh that was already cleared by the GOP for release.

And maybe Sen. Dianne Feinstein really did want to protect the identity of the woman who claimed to be sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh when they were both in high school by not coming forward until months later after receiving a letter from her.

However, if none of those incidents gave you pause to stop and think that the controversy surrounding this Supreme Court nominee was politically motivated, add this to the list and see if it doesn’t change your mind.

TRENDING: Sex Story Backfiring. Dems Get Bad News from RINO Vital To Stopping Kavanaugh

Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, is represented by an attorney with ties to liberal political activist George Soros.

Debra Katz is the founding partner of Katz, Marshall & Banks LLP, where she practices in Washington.

Her bio lists her as “recognized as ‘Civil Rights Lawyer of the Year’ for Washington, D.C. by The Best Lawyers© In America for 2018.” It also says she’s been named an “expert in sexual harassment, employment, and whistleblower law” by The New York Times, The Washington Post and Time magazine.

But she’s also a hard-working political activist. You just have to look slightly below the surface to see that she is working with organizations that funnel money into leftist agendas paid for by Soros.

Do you believe the attacks against Judge Kavanaugh are politically motivated?

The Washington Times connected some dots and found that a political advocacy group formed in June was promising to funnel $5 million into the effort to stop Kavanaugh’s confirmation. That group received donations that trailed through other funds that led to Soros.

“The group, Demand Justice, established in 2018, gets its money from the Sixteen Thirty Fund — and the Sixteen Thirty Fund received roughly $2.2 million from the Open Society Policy Center, one of Soros’ outlets, between the years of 2012 and 2016.”

And the Open Society Policy Center has directly funded the Project on Government Oversight — whose vice chairwoman is none other than Debra Katz.

POGO claims to be a “nonpartisan independent watchdog that investigates and exposes waste, corruption, abuse of power, and when the government fails to serve the public or silences those who report wrongdoing.

“We champion reforms to achieve a more effective, ethical, and accountable federal government that safeguards constitutional principles.”

I just don’t remember George Soros ever being a champion of constitutional principles.

Townhall characterized Katz’s background as “a long history of dismissing sexual assault allegations against liberal politicians, donating to left-wing causes, and even publicly demonizing all Trump advisors as ‘miscreants’ who are worse than deplorables.”

It certainly looks like there is more to the current state of affairs regarding the Kavanaugh hearings than just vetting a Supreme Court jurist. As the tentacles spread out, they reach farther and farther to the left, seeming to embrace more liberal activists and their agendas.

Oops! CNN’s Jim Acosta Brings on Christine Ford’s Classmate Who Says Girls Were Being Abused… But Not By Kavanaugh (VIDEO)

Oops! CNN’s Jim Acosta Brings on Christine Ford’s Classmate Who Says Girls Were Being Abuse… But Not By Kavanaugh (VIDEO)

September 19, 2018

Oops.
CNN’s Jim Acosta invited Christine Ford’s classmate on his show on Wednesday to discuss the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh.

But it didn’t turn out like they wanted it to.

The woman, Samantha Guerry, said girls were abused — but NOT by Brett Kavanaugh.

Rush Limbaugh posted the transcript:

GUERRY: It’s not the first time I’ve heard anything like that in terms of the community of women I know, and not regarding him but —

ACOSTA: Those sorts of things went on?

GUERRY: A lot… You know, one of the things that’s surprising to me as I’ve gotten involved in this in the last couple days is how many women of my class have come forward to me in this last few days and said, “I had similar experiences in high school,” and this hits me very deeply and it’s very —

ACOSTA: Not with Brett Kavanaugh, but with other boys?

GUERRY: Not with Brett Kavanaugh! But with other boys in our community, and we all feel that if we were in her shoes, we’d want (chuckles) to be taken seriously as well.

Here it is. Enjoy!

An ‘intersex’ person sued because passports only allow male and female – and it’s been decided

A transgender person named Dana Zzyym sued the Trump administration over their passport policy on gender, and the decision was handed down in their favor Wednesday.

“I am not male or female.”

Zzyym sued because passport applications only have two gender designations, either male or female, and their orientation didn’t fit into either.

Zzyym, who is a Navy veteran, identifies as “intersex,” and claims, “I am not male or female.”

A judge agreed on Wednesday, and ruled against the Trump administration for denying to issue Zzyym a passport. The lawsuit said that the application for a passport was forcing Zzyym to lie, under penalty of perjury, in order to obtain a government document available to everyone else.

“It is well past time for Dana Zzyym and other non-binary citizens of this country to be recognized and respected for who they are, to live openly and authentically,” said Lambda Legal attorney Paul Castillo, “and to be able simply to travel freely about the world.”

Lambda Legal, the oldest national organization litigating for LGBTQ causes, praised the decision from their social media account.

“BREAKING: Victory! Federal court rules @TheStateDept cannot rely on its binary-only gender policy to deny our #intersex client Dana Zzyym a passport,” the tweet read.

Zzyym first sued the Obama administration when they denied the passport application for the same reasons.

Here’s a report about Zzyym’s first victory in court:

Democratic Senator Furious Over Republicans Offering Kavanaugh’s Accuser Opportunity To Testify

Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) expressed her anger at Republicans on Wednesday for giving Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser the opportunity to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee so that her voice can be heard before a vote to confirm Kavanaugh takes place.
Appearing on CNN’s "New Day," Hirono said that she did not know that Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was sitting on a letter that contained allegations against Kavanaugh.

Ford’s Accusation against Kavanaugh Is Not Credible

The Dems and the media said Bill Clinton’s sexual misconduct, including the rape of Juanita Broaddrick, was irrelevant to Clinton serving as president.  They also said Teddy Kennedy’s driving his car into the pond drunk at Chappaquiddick, leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to die, while he swam away and waited twelve hours to report to the police, was irrelevant to him serving as senator and running for the presidency.

Now the Dems and the media say any claim of sexual misconduct, no matter how remote and unreliable, is enough to destroy the life of Brett Kavanaugh because they are afraid he will cast a vote to overrule Roe v. Wade.

Christine Blasey Ford sent a letter dated July 30, 2018 to Dianne Feinstein stating that in the early 1980s, she was at a “gathering” at a home in suburban Maryland with four others.  Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge, both drunk, forced her into a room and locked the door, and Kavanaugh then got on top of her.  Judge also “periodically” jumped on top of both.  Kavanaugh put a hand over her mouth and she believed he would “inadvertently” kill her.  At one point, Judge jumped on both again, and she took this “opportune” moment to run outside and go home.

Ford reported this incident to her “local government representative” on July 6, 2018.

Ford wrote to Feinstein to provide “relevant information regarding the current nominee” to the Supreme Court.

It is important to read the actual letter to see how unreliable it is:

July 30 2018  CONFIDENTIAL

Senator Dianne Feinstein

Dear Senator Feinstein;

I am writing with information relevant in evaluating the current nominee to the Supreme Court. As a constituent, I expect that you will maintain this as confidential until we have further opportunity to speak.  Brett Kavanaugh physically and sexually assaulted me during high school in the early 1980’s.  He conducted these acts with the assistance of REDACTED.  Both were one to two years older than me and students at a local private school.

The assault occurred in a suburban Maryland area home at a gathering that included me and four others.  Kavanaugh physically pushed me into a bedroom as I was headed for a bathroom up a short stair well [sic] from the living room.  They locked the door and played loud music precluding any successful attempt to yell for help.  Kavanaugh was on top of me while laughing with REDACTED, who periodically jumped onto Kavanaugh.  They both laughed as Kavanaugh tried to disrobe me in their highly inebriated state.  With Kavanaugh’s hand over my mouth I feared he may inadvertently kill me.  From across the room a very drunken REDACTED said mixed words to Kavanaugh ranging from “go for it” to “stop.”

At one point when REDACTED jumped onto the bed the weight on me was substantial.  The pile toppled, and the two scrapped with each other.  After a few attempts to get away, I was able to take this opportune moment to get up and run across to a hallway bathroom.  I locked the bathroom door behind me.  Both loudly stumbled down the stair well at which point other persons at the house were talking with them.  I exited the bathroom, ran outside of the house and went home.  I have not knowingly seen Kavanaugh since the assault.  I did see REDACTED once at the REDACTED where he was extremely uncomfortable seeing me.

I have received medical treatment regarding the assault.  On July 6 I notified my local government representative to ask them [sic] how to proceed with sharing this information.  It is upsetting to discuss sexual assault and its repercussions, yet I felt guilty and compelled as a citizen about the idea of not saying anything.

I am available to speak further should you wish to discuss.  I am currently REDACTED and will be in REDACTED.

In confidence, REDACTED.

Ford did not report this until 2012, when she was in couples’ therapy, where she reported it to her therapist.  The therapist notes do not include Kavanaugh’s name, which Ford blames on the therapist.  Her husband, Russell Ford, said he remembered his wife specifically using Kavanaugh’s name during the 2012 therapy session and that they were concerned that Kavanaugh would be nominated to the Supreme Court.

First, why, if this happened, didn’t this 15-year-old girl immediately tell her parents that she was attacked and then report to the police?  The police could then have questioned everyone at the “gathering.”  She says she thought Kavanaugh would inadvertently kill her, yet she does not report this to her parents and the police?  This isn’t credible.  According to the Post, her explanation is as follows:

My biggest fear was, do I look like someone just attacked me?  I’m not ever telling anyone this.  This is nothing, it didn’t happen, and he didn’t rape me.

Her parents would not believe her because she didn’t look as though someone had attacked her?  What parents will not believe their 15-year-old daughter who runs home to tell them drunken boys tried to rape her?

Second, Kavanaugh has been investigated by the FBI for appointments to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, White House counsel, and other federal jobs.  Why didn’t Ford call the FBI so the FBI could investigate Kavanaugh?

Third, Mark Judge has denied the accusation.

Fourth, according to her husband, the motivation for telling the therapist in 2012 was that Kavanaugh might be appointed to the Supreme Court.  This shows political motivation: she does not want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, although she did not care that he was on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Fifth, why write to a “local government representative” on July 6, 2018 and then Feinstein on July 30, 2018 instead of contacting the FBI?  The “local” Democrat and Feinstein should have immediately referred this to the FBI for investigation.  Feinstein should have immediately shared the letter with the entire Judiciary Committee so members could question Kavanaugh.  Instead, Feinstein played a political game to wait for an ambush.

Sixth, note the odd language in the letter.  She was at a “gathering,” not a party.  She contacted her “local Democratic representative” to find out how to proceed.  She is a college professor, yet she acts as though she doesn’t know to call the FBI.  She says she received “medical treatment” “for the assault,” but aside from one couples therapy session in 2012, there is no mention of any other treatment.

Seventh, Ford said there were four boys at the “gathering.”  Her attorney, Debra Katz, now says there was a girl present.

Ford’s letter of July 30 and her therapy notes of 2012 show her motivation and provide much material for a vigorous cross-examination if this were a case handled by real attorneys.

Unfortunately, we have weak Republicans who will be afraid to ask Ford tough questions for fear of backlash and bad press from the swamp.  The Dems will give speeches attacking Kavanaugh and Trump.  Kavanaugh will testify with candor and credibility that he did not attack Ford.  There is no pattern or other accusations, as with Bill Clinton and others.

We do not know if Ford will appear on Monday, September 24 to testify under oath and answer questions on cross-exam.  The latest is that Ford wants the FBI to investigate before she testifies.  The bottom line is that Ford and the Dems and the media want to delay the vote and hope Kavanaugh withdraws.

Ford and the Dems and the media know that her story will not hold up.
