Trump slashes Palestinian aid, saves taxpayers hundreds of millions. Palestinian leader lashes out.

The United States is slashing more than $200 million of taxpayer-funded aid to the Palestinian Authority, the State Department announced late Friday.

The announcement came after President Donald Trump ordered a review of the funds in January. The money, which was to be used for general services such as health care and education, has sat frozen since. Trump wanted to ensure the money was not being used to fund terrorism while at the same time providing American taxpayers with a return on their investment.

What are the details?

The State Department said in a statement:

At the direction of President Trump, we have undertaken a review of U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Authority and in the West Bank and Gaza to ensure these funds are spent in accordance with U.S. national interests and provide value to the U.S. taxpayer.

As a result of that review, at the direction of the president, we will redirect more than $200 million … originally planned for programs in the West Bank and Gaza.

Terrorism in the Gaza Strip, perpetrated by Hamas, played a role in the decision, the government said, according to the Associated Press.

“This decision takes into account the challenges the international community faces in providing assistance in Gaza, where Hamas control endangers the lives of Gaza’s citizens and degrades an already dire humanitarian and economic situation,” the State Department said.

A senior U.S. official who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon confirmed Hamas’ role in recent unrest in the region contributed to the decision. Indeed, one of the U.S. government’s biggest complaints with Palestine is the fact that Palestine’s governing body pays the families of Palestinian terrorists killed, injured, or jailed in terrorist attacks on Israel.

How did Palestine react?

Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s executive committee, characterized the move as “the use of cheap blackmail as a political tool.”

She explained:

The Palestinian people and leadership will not be intimidated and will not succumb to coercion. The rights of the Palestinian people are not for sale. There is no glory in constantly bullying and punishing a people under occupation. The U.S. administration has already demonstrated meanness of spirit in its collusion with the Israeli occupation and its theft of land and resources; now it is exercising economic meanness by punishing the Palestinian victims of this occupation.

What will happen to the allocated money now?

A State Department official told Reuters: “We will work with Congress to redirect these funds to other policy priorities.”

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry dropped another bombshell this week.

James Comey sent a letter to the House Oversight Committee on October 28th 2016 stating the FBI reopened the Hillary email investigation after they found Clinton’s State Department emails on pervert Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

Hundreds of thousands of emails were found on Weiner’s laptop yet the FBI closed the second investigation after a few days claiming they magically read through all the emails.

Former FBI Director James Comey previously told Congress the FBI examined all 700,000 emails found on Weiner’s laptop–it turns out that the FBI only examined approximately 3,000 out of 700,000 emails.

It gets worse…

Clinton fixer and Trump hater, Peter Strzok was the FBI agent who actually hand-picked the 3,000 emails from the 700,000 email tranche to be examined.

“Peter Strzok, the disgraced agent who was in charge of this Mid-Year investigation–he actually personally hand-picked the 3,000 email sample and with 2 other investigators and they went through them all supposedly…” Sperry said on FOX News’ Ingraham Angle.

Then Comey lied about it under oath to Congress…

Comey told Congress in a sworn testimony that “thanks to the wizardry of our technology,” the FBI was able to delete the majority of messages as “duplicates” of emails they had already examined. FBI agents then toiled “night after night after night” to examine the remaining emails.

NOT TRUE. Comey’s protege Peter Strzok hand-picked the 3,000 emails to make sure it looked like there was nothing classified or incriminating in the bulk of emails.

Thanks to Judicial Watch, we know at least 18 emails found on Weiner’s laptop contained classified information including the name of a CIA official.

President Trump put Hillary Clinton and the Deep State on notice Saturday morning in a tweetstorm.

ICE Has Begun Making Arrests At The Fresno Superior Court

One way to get around the sanctuary cities policies.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials this week went inside a Sacramento courtroom to make an arrest, attorneys said Friday.

ICE agents have been making arrests inside the Fresno County courthouse for about a month and recently made an appearance at the Tulare County Superior Court, but Wednesday’s arrest might be the first inside a courtroom in California.

“This will turn the judicial system on its head,” Sacramento attorney Charles Pacheco said.

Pacheco said Wednesday’s arrest happened as a Sacramento Superior Court arraignment for his client, Yovanny Ontiveros-Cebreros, was concluding. Pacheco said ICE agents placed his client in handcuffs.

Pacheco said he asked Superior Court Judge Lawrence Brown to step in, and Brown placed Ontiveros-Cebreros in the area behind the bar that’s designated for defendants who are in custody before proceeding to hear another 10 cases.

After Brown concluded hearing his other cases, he went into his chambers and then came back to the bench and said ICE had a warrant for Ontiveros-Cebreros’ arrest, Pacheco said. Brown was “puzzled,” Pacheco said.

“The judge was weak — he had no control of his courtroom, and allowed the federal government to come into his court,” Pacheco said. “He (Brown) just wanted to neutralize the situation, so he could figure out what was going on, and then he felt that it was justified that the (ICE) guy said there was a warrant for illegal re-entry.”

A Sacramento court official declined to comment, saying no one from the court was involved in the arrest, and referred questions to ICE.

ICE spokesman Richard A. Rocha said the agency “made a criminal arrest at the Sacramento Superior Courthouse on Wednesday pursuant to a criminal arrest warrant issue by a federal magistrate judge.”

“As this is an ongoing federal criminal case, no additional information is available at this time,” he said.

Pacheco said no one saw the warrant on Wednesday in court.

Katherine Carlson, an attorney with the Sacramento Public Defender’s Office, said she witnessed Wednesday’s arrest. She said ICE agents were being “obstructionists.”

Ontiveros-Cebreros had been released on $115,000 bail Tuesday, and on Wednesday he entered a not-guilty plea to two felony charges. One charge was for possession of a controlled substance and the second charge was for possession of a controlled substance for sale.

Pacheco said ICE agents are obtaining information on people who post bail and then show up to court to detain them.

Facebook has come under fire lately from right-leaning users for censoring and banning conservative content.

President Trump tweeted about the censorship of conservatives again today.

Gateway Pundit reader Roger Scott posted a YouTube video on the history of the Star Spangled Banner.

Facebook banned it.

The National Anthem.

Scott wrote Gateway Pundit: Facebook said the story behind the Star Spangled Banner on Youtube is spam. This is the same message Facebook is using to remove millions of conservative posts. Yes, the image is on my Facebook page – Roger Scott. I had more than a dozen posts spammed by Facebook but thought the Star Spangled Banner was the most inappropriate. Other bans included Breitbart posts.

Social Media Bans on Alex Jones Had a Consequence That Was Never Intended

Love him or hate him, radio show host Alex Jones has an undeniable knack for marketing. Even with tech giants targeting his Infowars empire, Jones has turned lemons into lemonade, capitalizing on what some refer to as the “Streisand Effect.”

Earlier this month, multiple platforms removed Jones’ content. According to UPI, “Google’s YouTube removed Jones’ InfoWars channel Monday after taking other action in previous months. The move followed similar decisions by Apple and Spotify, which removed Jones’ podcasts shortly before Facebook removed Jones’ fan page and the one for his radio show InfoWars on Monday.”

Twitter did not follow suit, much to the outrage of some. CEO Jack Dorsey explained in a tweet thread that Jones had not violated any rules that would allow for such a move:

Anyone, tech giants included, who thought what appeared to be a coordinated effort to silence Jones would work, is in for a huge disappointment. According to data from website traffic statistics tracking site Alexa, Infowars is thriving. In fact, it is continuing to improve.

Back in October 2017, Infowars had a global rank of 3136. Its ranking in the United States was 1001.

Just days after the massive hit from social media platforms in early August 2018, Infowars’ global rating jumped to 3,513 after experiencing a major drop off in July. In the United States, its rating was even better than it had been in October, at 699:

Today, August 24, 2018, the numbers are even better. The global ranking for Infowars is 3167. And the U.S ranking is 591, which is significantly better than it was in October:

According to The Economist, when singer and actress Barbra Streisand sued in 2013 to have photos of her Malibu home removed from the California Coastal Records Project archives, she inadvertently gave birth to the “Streisand Effect.” Essentially, “trying to hide something makes it more visible.”

Her action drove scores of people to seek out the images, creating the opposite effect of what she wanted. The efforts of the tech giants to keep the public away from Jones and his content did the same thing. They created a “Streisand Effect” for Jones.

Jones has been capitalizing on the attacks, and it has been paying off for the “conspiracy theorist” who already regularly opines on the efforts of the global elite to shut down him and others who have similar views. The appearance of a coordinated attack on Jones only added to the outrage of some who are against the global elite.

But he is not alone in driving traffic to his site. Free speech advocates have also been aiding his cause, by defending his right to speak and have his platform, even if they personally disagree with him.

One example comes from television show host Bill Maher, who told his audience, “If you’re a liberal, you’re supposed to be for free speech.” He added, “That’s free speech for the speech you hate. That’s what free speech means.”

Just as with the backfiring of attacks on the NRA drove new members to join, new support for Jones has materialized, some just on principle, alone. For some, the more the left attacks a thing, the more they will push back, even if they weren’t originally customers or supporters:

Chick-fil-A, the NRA and Alex Jones are just a few of the examples the left has yet to learn from. As long as they continue to attack freedom, there will always be those among us pushing back to preserve it.

Michael Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis admitted he lied to the media when he claimed he confirmed a CNN report with anonymous sources about President Trump’s foreknowledge of the infamous Trump Tower meeting in June of 2016.

In July, CNN rolled out another story using anonymous sources wherein they reported Michael Cohen claimed Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting with Veselnitskaya in advance.

Cohen told the Senate Intel Panel last year in a closed-door interview that he didn’t know about the Trump Tower meeting in advance and didn’t know whether Trump did either.

This dumpster fire of an article was published just a couple weeks after Cohen hired sewer dweller and Clinton fixer Lanny Davis to be his lawyer.

CNN said in their report that Cohen was ready to spill the beans to Mueller that Trump not only knew about the meeting with Veselnitskaya, but approved it.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton, sources with knowledge tell CNN. Cohen is willing to make that assertion to special counsel Robert Mueller, the sources said.

CNN was giddy to report that Cohen’s information contradicted Don Jr.’s testimony and repeated denials his father knew about the meeting.

As usual, CNN was reporting fake news and curiously Lanny Davis himself confirmed to being one of the anonymous sources at the time it was published.

Lanny Davis confirmed to The New York Post that he was one of the anonymous sources and lied when he told them that CNN’s report was accurate.

Now Lanny Davis is walking back his claims and went on the record admitting he lied to the media.

Imagine our shock.

The New York Post reported:

“I regret that I wasn’t clear enough to The Post. I should have been more clear. I could not independently confirm the information in the CNN story,” he said.

“I’m sorry that I left that impression. I wasn’t at the meeting. The only person who could confirm that information is my client.”

CNN still has not retracted their fake news story.

Drunk Illegal Alien Sets Hospital On Fire In Sanctuary City

An illegal alien described as being "highly inebriated" endangered dozens of lives at a Maryland hospital when he set the emergency room on fire, according to a new report.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office told ABC7 that a fire from back in May was started by illegal alien Henry Padilla-Martinez, who is 20.

CNN debate goes off the rails as Kellyanne Conway lays into Chris Cuomo

A CNN interview with White House adviser Kellyanne Conway turned into a tendentious debate when host Chris Cuomo told her that the difference between CNN and the Trump administration is “integrity.”

‘That’s why people don’t trust you’

“Where in the [Paul] Manafort trial is Russia collusion Trump?” Conway challenged Cuomo.

“I don’t care,” Cuomo replied.

“You should care,” she responded.

“The president lied about what he knew about these women,” Cuomo said. “He should not lie to the American people, in their face, time and again. The Washington Post does a blow by blow take-through, it’s the first lie they’ve ever flagged in their fact-check.”

“Just because you are saying that, wait, I have a very simple question for you,” Conway said. “Why is it not important for you to replay and talk about the president’s own words, why don’t you show him answering that question?”

“Because he’s lying,” Cuomo said.

“No, you don’t want people to see him answer the question,” she charged.

Cuomo disagreed, and then played the tape secretly recorded by Cohen, but it was not the tape Conway wanted played.

“Yeah, he knew later on, he knew before, he’s lying!” Cuomo said emphatically about Trump’s contradictory statements about the payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“Is that Michael Cohen and President Trump talking about …”

“You know what tape I want to hear?” Conway interjected.

Cuomo sighed in desperation.

“Excuse me, tell us what’s on the tape of Chris Cuomo and Michael Cohen?” she asked, “What’s on the two-hour tape with the two of you?”

“Tons of stuff,” he responded.

“OK, well tell us! Transparency, accountability, facts first, why?” Conway mocked.

“I’ll tell you why I can’t,” Cuomo responded, “because I’ll tell you why, because there’s a little difference you and me, and the shop you’re working for, integrity…”

“The White House? How dare you!” she exclaimed.

“You should admit he’s lying,” Cuomo fired back, “and you don’t, and that’s why people don’t trust you. That’s why, right there.

Cuomo continued to say that Cohen took steps to make sure Cuomo wasn’t recording the conversation, but then himself recorded. He added that he would not betray Cohen’s confidence even though he had kept their conversation private.

The rest of the debate descended into Cuomo and Conway interrupting each other and talking over each other.

“What is it about powerful, articulate women on TV that bother you as guests?” Conway asked at one point.

“C’mon Kellyanne, you don’t have to play cheap with me, just own what’s real,” Cuomo responded.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former private lawyer, pleaded guilty and claimed that he violated campaign finance rules at the behest of then-candidate Trump. Many have claimed that this pushes the political pendulum towards impeachment of the president, but few Democrats are openly calling for what would be a very divisive act of Congress.
