Prosecutors: Special Needs Boy Died In ‘Extremist Muslim’ Exorcism At New Mexico Compound

More details have emerged about the apparent tragic fate of the 3-year-old special needs boy at the center of a case against a group described by authorities as following an “extremist” brand of the Muslim faith which law enforcement found training with firearms at a compound in New Mexico earlier this month.

Prosecutors say that the zealous family of Siraj Wahhaj — which includes his self-described “Muslim wife” Jany Leveille, his sisters Hujrah and Subhannah, and his brother-in-law Lucas Morten — were training eleven children to join them as “martyrs.” The children were found malnourished, some reportedly clutching to ammo when authorities arrived. The remains of what authorities believe to be the body of the special needs son of Siraj was uncovered and awaits positive identification.

The five adults face charges of child abuse, to which they have pleaded not guilty.

“This was not a camping trip and this was not a simple homesteading, the kind that many people do in New Mexico,” said prosecutor Timothy Hasson, CNN reports. “The evidence as a whole suggests that this family was on a mission. And it was a violent one, and it was a dangerous one.” The prosecution says that Morten once passed on a letter to Wahhaj’s brother inviting him to join the extremist group to “die as a martyr,” urging him to “take all your money out of the bank and bring your guns.”

On Monday, more details emerged about the family’s alleged beliefs about and treatment of Siraj’s special needs son, Abdul-Ghani, whom Siraj allegedly abducted from his mother in Georgia. According to witnesses, the family believed the body of Abdul-Ghani was inhabited by demons and that once the family had exorcized them, the boy would return as Jesus four months later to instruct the family which institutions they should attack.

“Those who did not believe ‘their message’ would be killed or detained ‘until they believed,’ a teenager on the compound said, according to a FBI agent,” CNN reports. After interviewing two of the children (ages 13 and 15) found at the compound, FBI agent Travis Taylor testified about the events leading up to the apparent death of the special needs boy. CNN reports:

According to one of the children, the family arrived in New Mexico sometime in January, Taylor said. The rituals on Abdul-Ghani continued in New Mexico at Leveille’s direction, the FBI agent said. According to one of the teens, Leveille believed that Abdul-Ghani was her baby and Ramzi had stolen him from her womb using black magic, Taylor said.

In the rituals, which went on for several days, Abdul-Ghani’s father recited verses from the Quran and held his hand on the boy’s forehead as he foamed from the mouth, Taylor said. During one of those rituals, according to the children, Abdul-Ghani passed out and his heart stopped beating, the agent testified.

He has passed on, Taylor said, but the family believed he had already died and that his family was inhabited by demons. They believed he would return four months later as Jesus and lead them on their mission, Taylor said.

Taylor said that after the boy died, the family washed his body and wrapped him in sheets, eventually moving the deteriorating body to a tunnel beneath the compound, where the adults would wash his body every day in preparation for his return as Jesus.

Wahhaj’s lawyer Thomas Clark couched the defense in terms of racial and religious discrimination. “If these were white people of a Christian faith who owned guns, that’s not a big deal because there’s a Second Amendment right to own firearms in this country,” said Clark. “If these were white Christians, faith healing is of no consequence because we have freedom of religion in this country. But they look different and they worship differently from the rest of us.”

Though she described the case as “troubling, definitely,” on Monday Judge Sarah Backus denied the prosecution’s request to hold the defendants until the trial.

Trump Haters Meet the Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Hollywood’s Walk of Fame started in the late 1950s to honor accomplished members of the entertainment industry.  On average, they add two new stars each month.  As Hollywood is a bastion of political correctness and virtue-signaling, it was inevitable that the city would find itself butting heads with President Trump.


Trump has a star on the Walk of Fame, which has been vandalized several times over the past few weeks.  The West Hollywood city council, rather than banning plastic straws, voted unanimously to remove Trump’s star from the famous walk.



Fortunately, it’s an empty gesture, much like when Boulder, Colorado declared itself a nuclear-free zone – as if, during a real war, China or Russia would take great care to steer nuclear missiles to Denver or Fort Collins rather than to Boulder.


West Hollywood has no jurisdiction over the Walk of Fame, as it has been run by the Chamber of Commerce since 1962, which has been “[r]esisting public pressure to remove stars for disgraced honorees such as Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, and Kevin Spacey, saying that a star is part of ‘the historic fabric’ of the site.”


It’s nice to see that Hollywood has its priorities in order.  The president, standing up for America, trying to secure its borders and keep America safe, is somehow evil, but the truly evil #MeToo predators continue to be honored by the Hollywood elites.


In response to continued vandalism of Trump’s Walk of Fame star, a funny thing happened.  A few days ago, multiple Trump stars began appearing on the walk, placed on blank squares.  An anonymous street artist and his allies are sending a message to the Hollywood hypocrites: “Rip up the president’s Walk of Fame star or try to have it removed – like you’re the mayor of West Hollywood or something – and 30 more will pop up.”


This reminded me of a time long ago, when Hollywood made good and decent movies, designed to entertain, rather than push some sociopolitical agenda.  Walt Disney was part of this golden age of Hollywood.  One of his early movies was Fantasia, a 1940 film, which set short animated pieces to famous classical music scores.


One of the more famous segments was “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” featuring Mickey Mouse.  Mickey, as the apprentice, is tasked with the chore of fetching buckets of water.  To spare himself the labor, he casts a spell so a broom can fetch the water for him.  Mickey falls asleep while the broom toils away, flooding the sorcerer’s chambers.


Unable to break the spell, Mickey chops the broom into pieces.  But each splinter comes to life as a new broom, fetching more water, worsening the flooding, until the sorcerer returns to break the spell.  You can watch the scene here.


Mickey Mouse’s adventure is playing out with Trump’s Hollywood star.  Trump-haters, using a pickaxe, rather than Mickey’s axe, destroyed Trump’s star, only to have it multiply.  Bigly.


This is a common theme of the Trump presidency.  Attempts to destroy him seem only to leave him stronger.  Beginning before he was even elected, the “Access Hollywood” tape was Trump’s October surprise, sure to derail his campaign.  What happened?  Trump happened, and he was elected.


The Deep State conspired to pave the way for Hillary Clinton by exonerating her of crimes committed and instead indicting Trump for crimes not committed, crippling his presidency with a special counsel investigating everything except what he was charged with investigating, casting doubt over the legitimacy of Trump’s election and presidency.


Despite efforts of the Clinton-Obama Deep State cabal to take an axe to President Trump, all they have done is create greater support for him.  Splinters of Mickey Mouse’s broom are rising up in myriad ways in support of the president.


Black support for President Trump has doubled since last year.  This is a core Democrat constituency, and such an electoral shift spells doom for Democrat electoral prospects.


The left cries “Trump is a racist” non-stop on cable news shows, taking an axe to the Trump broom.  Yet the splinters come to life in the form of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, pop culture icons and Instagram celebrities, joining the Trump train – not to mention Diamond and Silk, Candace Owens, and others.


The ultimate splinters from the axed Fantasia broom are the Q phenomenon.  This is an as of yet unidentified group of presumed military intelligence insiders with White House access.  Some call it a cult, despite the absence of a leader.  Others call it LARPing or basically a joke, yet Q messages display an uncanny knack for predicting future events in a timely and accurate fashion.


Make of it what you want, but Q represents thousands or millions of splinters of Mickey’s axed broom, individuals doing their own research based on “Q drops,” nuggets of open-sourced information that can be investigated, verified, and disseminated.  Most of this is done anonymously, away from prying eyes or interference of the Deep State actors Q is exposing.


Last are the media, with their relentless attacks on President Trump, over 90 percent negative coverage.  They give little, if any, credit for Trump’s accomplishments, especially on the economy and jobs, instead calling him a racist, a traitor, a Russian spy, or just an ignorant rube.


Each swipe of the media axe at the president creates more disdain for and distrust of the media, and more sympathy and support of the president.  Splinters of the chopped broom are the Americans who mock big media at rallies and on social media.


From the Hollywood star to Q to the media, efforts of the left and other assorted Trump-haters simply chop the broom into splinters, creating more support, the opposite of the intended goal.  Mickey Mouse set forces in motion that took on a life of their own, with unintended and unforeseen consequences far beyond his original goal.


Trump-haters are beginning to experience much the same.  Oblivious to what they have set into motion, they will be ill prepared for the consequences.  For the rest of us, pass the popcorn as the show is just beginning.

Exclusive – Elizabeth Heng: Facebook Is ‘Censoring the Voices of Americans Who Have Different Views’

Elizabeth Heng, the Republican nominee running to represent California’s 16th Congressional District, said Facebook is “censoring the voices of Americans” with non-leftist views.

She offered her remarks in an interview with Breitbart News Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak during last Tuesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.

Heng warned of the growing power over the dissemination of information concentrated in the hands of large technology firms. Last week, Facebook blocked an advertisement of Heng’s referencing communist-driven atrocities in Cambodia, her parents’ country of origin. The ad was subsequently restored following Breitbart News’s reporting of Facebook’s political censorship.

“There was no reason given [by Faceook for banning my ad],” said Heng. “They just said that it was, ‘shocking, disrespectful, or sensational content.’ For me, it’s maddening to feel like my story is being silenced on Facebook or any other public platform; censoring the voices of Americans who have different views or just want to tell their stories. It’s not right, and Facebook needs to be held accountable.”

LISTEN:

Heng added, “I only received a message that I posted on Facebook of them saying that it was ‘shocking, disrespectful, or sensational,’ and they never explained anything. I would assume it’s from the beginning of the ad where I had glimpses of the reality of genocide, but those were just photos.”

Hang reflect on her parents’ escape from communism in Cambodia: “My parents had to live through the terror of that, and for any liberal tech giant to be able to decide what history and story gets to live on, I think is inappropriate on many levels. My family left communism, and in countries such as Cambodia during that time, they were silenced, being  here in the United States with freedom of speech, I am going to continue talking about this message, because it’s incredibly important.”

Pollak asked Heng if defense of First Amendment protections for free speech and expression is an important issue in forthcoming midterm elections.

“I think this is going to be an important topic,” replied Heng. “When I chose to enter into this race as a candidate, I expected to discuss big issues and tell my story, but Facebook’s decision to take away my voice and my ability to tell that story is yet another example of the liberal establishment, like Nancy Pelosi, shutting down Republicans and conservatives. I’m running to fight against extremism in the tech industry and in D.C.”

Heng continued, “I support the president. It is undeniable that our economy is at an all-time high and that our unemployment rate is at an all-time low.”

Heng described communism and socialism as political systems destined to fail: “My parents saw firsthand how communism and socialism absolutely do not work. Socialism does not work anywhere in this world, and it’s so important for me to protect the fundamental values in a capitalistic market that have allowed our country to flourish.”

Hend linked left-wing ideology with the Obama administration: “Failed policies of the last eight years of what the previous administration did to our country and this community.”

Muslim Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was arrested earlier this month at a terrorist compound in New Mexico.
Wahhaj was training children to commit mass shootings at US schools.

Siraj ibn Wahhaj is the son of a Brooklyn imam who was named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

New Mexico police entered a dangerous Islamist terrorist camp in New Mexico this month after they grew tired of FBI stalling.

The Clarion Project wrote an extensive report on the New Mexico terrorist compound.

The FBI refused to act. Instead the FBI told a neighbor to wear a hidden camera and risk his life by approaching an armed Islamist extremist compound.

Now this…
According to the Albuquerque Journal Judge Sarah Backus released the five defendants, Siraj Wahhaj, Hujrah Wahhaj, Subhannah Wahhaj, Jany Leveille, and Lucas Morten, on a $20,000 “signature bond.”

That means that the defendants found living on a makeshift terrorist training compound with 11 malnourished children will not have to pay money unless they violate the conditions of their release.

Judge Sarah Backus said the state did not prove the jihadis were a danger to the community.

Utility blaming climate change, not its fallen power lines, for California wildfires

My cable news viewing is frequently interrupted by commercials instructing Northern Californians that climate change is responsible for the state’s current ordeal with multiple large wildfires. This is a contemptible attempt by utilities to evade responsibility for the the damages caused by their power lines located near combustible forests (made much more combustible by policies preventing harvesting “old growth” and clearing deadwood).


Mark Chediak of Bloomberg has also spotted the con game (my term, not his):



Authorities don’t yet know the cause of some of the fires, but the region’s giant utility, PG&E Corp., sees a culprit at work — climate change. The blazes in recent years, it said, are the latest example of how global warming has produced unusually hot, dry conditions that spawn more frequent and intense fires. “Climate change is no longer coming, it’s here,” Geisha Williams, chief executive officer of PG&E, said in an email. “And we are living with it every day.”


Scientists tend to agree with that assessment. But California’s biggest utility has an especially compelling reason to link the fires to the environment. State investigators have tied PG&E equipment, such as trees hitting power lines, to some of the blazes in October that in total destroyed nearly 9,000 structures and killed 44 people. It faces damage liabilities totaling as much as $17 billion, and possible financial ruin — its stock is down about 37 percent since the fires — unless Williams can convince California lawmakers that the company’s problem is, in fact, a climate change problem.




It may be time to update Dr. Johnson’s famous adage, “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.”  Since patriotism is in such short supply in California, Climate Change is now the last refuge of scoundrels”

Boycotting Sam Adams beer over Trump support?

Believe me, the boycotocracy is on the way. At a recent meeting of business leaders in New Jersey, Boston Beer Company Chairman Jim Koch had the temerity to praise the tax cuts signed into law by President Trump, saying that this new footing allowed them to compete on a level playing ground with overseas breweries. His company produces Sam Adams beer (among other offerings). This was clearly a bridge too far for Joe Curtatone, Mayor of Somerville, Massachusetts. He rushed to his Twitter account to declare that he was done drinking the local brew for good.

Simply stopping his consumption as a personal statement wasn’t good enough, of course. Now he wants to see others join him in a boycott of the traitorous brand of suds. (Washington Times)

Could Sam Adams beer be going the way of Chick-fil-A?

A Boston-area mayor hopes so, both vowing a political boycott and threatening the Massachusetts staple, a popular brand nationally too. At a gathering of business executives last week in New Jersey, according to the Boston Globe, Boston Beer Co. founder Jim Koch praised President Trump’s tax-cut plan as allowing his firm to compete with foreign breweries fairly.

“Now we have a level playing field, and we’re going to kick their ass,” Mr. Koch told the president.

This turned Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone into a Sam’s teetotaler and also led him to threaten the brewery.

Perhaps the mayor had been drinking more than his fair share prior to launching into this attack because his follow-up was a real doozy.

Whoa! Hold the phone, there, your honor. Trump’s “white nationalist agenda?” Do you mean his “white nationalist agenda” to… cut taxes? For everyone?

Jim Koch wasn’t out there parading around in a MAGA hat and calling for more deportation of illegal aliens or screaming to lock Hillary up. He was expressing optimism that the new tax structure would allow him to capture some market share from foreign brewers. And for that crime you want people to boycott Sam Adams beer and shut down one of the larger employers in your state?

Why has this become the default position for so many political activists, particularly on the left? Even if your Trump Derangement Syndrome has reached terminal levels, Congress passed that tax package and they did so with bipartisan support. (Not nearly enough from Democrats, but still…) The tax package had some flaws, such as a failure to cut spending to match the tax reductions, but it’s still produced some very positive effects for the country. Is your hatred of Donald Trump really so great that you would punish the people of your own state just to make a point?

Hey… it’s a free market economy. Boycott all you like. But don’t come back crying to us if the results wind up biting you in the butt. In closing, however, I’ll echo the question put forth by one of Curtatone’s constituents in the linked article. President Trump is a huge supporter of Tom Brady. So would you like to boycott the Patriots as well? If so, you and I just might find some common ground here.

CNN Commentator Peter Beinart Consulted Soros-Funded Anti-Israel Group Prior to Being Questioned at Tel Aviv Airport

Prior to his being questioned at Israel’s international airport on Sunday, CNN political commentator and Israel critic Peter Beinart admits to consulting a George Soros-funded radical anti-Israel organization about “what to do if I were detained” upon entering Israel.

Beinart seems to have anticipated that he may be questioned upon landing at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport, and claims that he was detained for about an hour and questioned over “my beliefs.”

Beinart wrote in a column at the liberal Forward newspaper that prior to his latest visit to Israel this week, he previously participated in a protest in the West Bank city of Hebron, and that he “become involved in the protest” through the Center for Jewish Nonviolence.

The Center seeks to “bring an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza.” Israel refers to the West Bank, which houses ancient Jewish communities, as disputed and not occupied territory.  Eastern Jerusalem includes the Temple Mount, Western Wall, and the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.

The Center admits on its website that it deploys the “use of proactive nonviolence and noncooperation with systems of injustice.”

A Times of Israel article from July 2016 documented Beinart’s participation in a Hebron protest in which activists reportedly entered a building that had been declared a closed military zone by the IDF. The news outlet reported that the activists staged a sit-in and refused to leave when prompted by the Israeli military, leading to the arrests of six people.

Writing at the Forward, Beinart documented that before he departed to Tel Aviv, he consulted the New Israel Fund (NIF) about what to do if he were detained:

Before the trip I had asked friends at the New Israel Fund what to do if I were detained. They had generously put me in touch with the renowned Israeli human rights lawyer Gaby Lasky. Upon returning to the holding pen I knew that by calling Lasky and asking her to intervene, I could likely end my ordeal—something the people sitting around me could not do. I looked at my wife—who would not leave me and as a result was about to miss the first evening of Bat Mitzvah activities for her sister’s daughter—and made the call. A few minutes later I was free. The whole experience took just over an hour.

The New Israel Fund is a radical, foreign-funded anti-Israel NGO that in turn finances scores of anti-Israel groups.

Hacked emails document Soros’ Open Society Foundations provided the NIF with at least $837,500 from 2002 to 2015. Breitbart News found that NIF’s 2015 annual report lists the Tides Foundation as a donor. Tides is a far-left financing clearinghouse that itself is heavily funded by Soros’ Open Society nonprofit.

Beinart wrote that after landing in Tel Aviv for a family event, he was brought to a room where he was questioned about whether he was “involved in any organization that could provoke violence in Israel.”

When Beinart replied in the negative, he says that the security agent questioning him brought up the Hebron protest.

He writes:

Then he told me that on my last trip to Israel I had participated in a protest, which is true. He asked where it occurred and I answered “Hebron.” He asked its purpose and I answered that we were protesting the fact that Palestinians in Hebron and across the West Bank lack basic rights. (I wrote about the protest at the time). He asked how I had become involved in the protest and I mentioned The Center for Jewish Nonviolence. He asked if the Center had incited violence, and I replied that, as its name suggests, it practices non-violence. My interrogator then replied that names could be misleading.

The session ended when my interrogator asked me, point blank, if I was planning to attend another protest. I answered truthfully: No. With that I was sent back to the holding room.

A few minutes later I was free. The whole experience took just over an hour.

Beinart writes that while “the conversation was depressing but not frightening,” he “never felt scared or victimized.”

Israel recently passed legislation allowing it to bar entry to activists involved in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. Beinart has written in support of boycotting Israeli settlements, but says that he wasn’t asked about that activism during the airport ordeal.

Responding to reports of Beinart’s ordeal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement saying the prime minister “heard of Mr. Beinart’s questioning at Ben Gurion airport and immediately spoke with Israel’s security forces to inquire how this happened. He was told it was an administrative mistake.”

“Israel is an open society which welcomes all–critics and supporters alike. Israel is the only country in the Middle East where people voice their opinions freely and robustly,” the statement adds.

Ed Urquiola is the parent of a student at Newton High School in Massachusetts.

Ed, who is Jewish, is outraged that his son is being labeled a Nazi for supporting President Donald Trump.

This is the modern day left in America — if you are right of Fidel Castro you’re a nazi.

Ed Urquiolo: My son is Jewish and he was branded a nazi. It was photoshopped onto his hat after he went to a Trump rally. It was all over the internet. There were other comments by other student body supporting this and encouraging this. We had meetings and conversations with the school in Newton. They refused to do anything in my opinion to correct the situation.

These type of abuse scenarios are repeated all across this country today.
The intolerance of the left has become violent and abusive.
And the liberal mainstream media ignores this tidal wave of abuse.
