Facebook Suspends Conservative Comedian Terrence Williams for Posting Abusive Messages He Received

Facebook has suspended conservative comedian Terrence K. Williams for posting screenshots of hate mail he received from liberals.

For the second time in a week, Facebook has suspended a conservative user for posting screenshots of abuse they received on the platform. Shortly after the suspension of columnist and editor Jamie Glazov, who posted screenshots of threats he received, comedian Terrence K. Williams has been temporarily suspended for posting screenshots of abuse and ridicule he received from liberals on the platform.

Williams posted examples of the threats he receives on a regular basis from liberals seemingly angered at the idea of a black conservative. One such message can be seen below:

This image was promptly removed by Facebook as they allegedly don’t allow posts that “bully private individuals.” Williams told Breitbart News, “Facebook always deletes the post and says I’m bullying or harassing the people sending the threats and harassment.”

Shortly after this, Williams received a 24-hour suspension from posting to Facebook:

Examples of the abuse that Williams receives on a regular basis can be seen below. Williams alleges that despite reporting these messages on a regular basis, Facebook has taken no action against the individuals that refer to Williams as a “coon” amongst other racial slurs:

Breitbart News spoke with Williams about his treatment on Facebook and how he deals with attacks from those at the left, seemingly angry at Williams simply for being black and conservative. Williams said that he had become afraid to expose the abuse he was receiving for fear that his Facebook page may suffer as a result. Williams stated: “I dont post all my threats anymore because I fear that Facebook may suspend my account and I have a large platform and people that look forward to my messages every day and I’m going on tour so I don’t want to break any violations and throw everything away so I don’t post all my stuff all the time. Facebook said they would ban me permanently if I kept posting screenshots of the death threats.”

Williams stated that despite multiple reports drawing Facebook’s attention to the screenshots and the abuse he received, Facebook failed to act: “Facebook said that they reviewed the screenshots and said that none of the threats violated Facebook’s guidelines.”

Breitbart News asked Williams if he felt that Facebook was specifically targeting minority conservatives such as himself and YouTube stars Diamond and Silk who have alleged that their Facebook page reach has been limited by the social media platform. Williams said, “I do believe that Facebook is targeting not only conservatives but they’re really targeting minority conservatives such as myself and Diamond and Silk, they have a million followers and their posts are only reaching eight people are you serious? And Facebook does the same thing to me, I lose followers every day and I do not believe that my fans are going to my page to unfollow me.”

Facebook has not responded to a request for comment from Breitbart News at the time of the writing of this article.

Texas firefighter made heroic attempt to save woman sucked out of window on Southwest flight

A Texas firefighter is being hailed for his heroic efforts after debris from an engine explosion blew out a window and sucked an Albuquerque, New Mexico, woman from her seat and halfway out of the plane.

What happened?

On Tuesday, about 30 minutes into Southwest Flight 1380 from New York City to Dallas, the plane lost an engine and sent panicked passengers reaching for their oxygen masks.

Celina firefighter Andrew Needum made sure his family had their oxygen masks secured to their faces.

Then Needum noticed a child seated behind him was having trouble so he quickly jumped up and helped the child, Celina Fire Chief Shain Hunn told TheBlaze.

Needum looked around to see who else needed assistance and that’s when he noticed Tim McGinty trying to pull a woman back inside the plane.

McGinty, a real estate worker, was seated near 43-year-old Jennifer Riordan when she went out the window. He tried to pull her back inside, but he couldn’t do it alone.

“When we saw the window was gone somebody saw the lady out of the window so just tried to get her back in and wasn’t strong enough,” McGinty told reporters after the plane made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.  “A fireman from Celina, Texas, jumped in there and helped and between the two of us we were able to get her back in.”

Together, Needum and McGinty pulled Riordan back inside the plane.

Needum, along with retired school nurse Peggy Phillips, started CPR on Riordan, while the pilot rapidly descended to land the Boeing 737-700.

They attempted to revive Riordan, but her injuries were too severe, and she didn’t survive. Riordan, a  mother of two, was vice president of community relations for a Wells Fargo bank.

Hunn said he’s extremely proud of Needum and wasn’t surprised to hear about his courageous efforts.

“He’s an example to others for them to follow,” the Celina fire chief said. “He’s a servant.”

What caused the engine explosion?

The plane’s engine showed signs of “metal fatigue,” the National Transportation Safety Board investigators said during a news conference Tuesday night.

One of the engine blades appeared to have come off and is missing, NTSB Chair Robert Sumwalt told reporters.

“There is much more to be done on this,” Sumwalt said, adding the full investigation of the accident would take 12-15 months.

Haley Stands by Allies, Slams Russia Following Release of Report on U.K. Nerve Agent Attack

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Wednesday spoke to theU.N. Security Council following the release of a report on the nerve agent attack in Salisbury, United Kingdom, calling on members to condemn the use of a Russian nerve agent on British soil.

Haley thanked the U.K. Permanent Representative to the U.N. Karen Pierce for her update on events in Salisbury before discussing the broader danger of chemical weapons attacks of its nature and calling on the international community to take a firm stand against the use of chemical weapons.

"None of us will be immune from this threat unless we immediately start rebuilding our consensus against chemical weapons," Haley said.

Later in her remarks, warned against the danger of the use of weapons of mass destruction becoming "routine."

"There is nothing more troubling than the idea that the use of a weapon of mass destruction becomes routine," Haley said. "Last year it was Malaysia and Khan Shaykhun. Last month it was Salisbury. Last week it was Douma."

Haley also called out Russia specifically, referring to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’s (OPCW) independent report that confirmed the U.K.’s lab analysis that the agent used in the Salisbury attack originated in Russia.

"As we have stated previously, the United States agrees with the U.K.’s assessment that Russia is responsible for the chemical weapons in Salisbury. Whether that is in their direct act, or irresponsibly losing control of the agent, which could be worse, our support for our British friends and colleagues is unwavering," Haley said.

"We hope our colleagues on this council will join us, as they have before, in delivering a clear condemnation of the use of a Russian nerve agent on another member’s soil," Haley added.

Haley warned her fellow ambassadors that the next such attack could take place closer to their own home and said it was a matter of "morality" to prevent such attacks form happening.

"This is a matter of basic morality. We cannot in good conscious allow this to continue," Haley concluded.

Hogg Targets Iconic Gun Manufacturer After Ingraham Boycott Falls Flat

David Hogg, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has become the face of the gun control movement in the wake of the massacre at his school on Feb. 14.

Hogg is now using his new-found media fame to mount a targeted anti-gun boycott against the financial backers of one of the most popular firearms manufacturers in America — Smith & Wesson —  according to The Washington Times.

In a series of tweets posted Tuesday afternoon, Hogg directed his 765,000 Twitter followers to boycott and sever all ties with a number of high-profile investment groups, specifically Blackrock and the Vanguard Group.

Hogg tweeted, “[email protected] and @Vanguard_Group are two of the biggest investors in gun manufacturers; if you use them, feel free to let them know. Thanks.”

Both Blackrock and Vanguard manage mutual funds that spread investors’ money to a variety of stocks, and both hold significant shares in the American Outdoor Brands Corporation, the parent company of Smith & Wesson.

According to the New York Post, Blackrock is the second-largest investor in the American Outdoor Brands as well as Vista Outdoors — another parent company that oversees some gun and ammunition manufacturers — and is the single largest institutional-investor of gun manufacturer Sturm Ruger.

Vanguard is the second largest investor in Sturm Ruger and the third largest for both American Outdoor Brands and Vista Outdoors.

Do you think this boycott effort will fall flat?

Both of the firms have been under pressure from anti-gun rights advocates to divest from the firearms industry for some time, and both have taken steps to placate the vociferous anti-gun crowd by offering funds which specifically don’t include any investments in that industry.

While some executives and investors may be concerned about becoming the target of a boycott, others may be thrilled, given the outcome of the last two major boycott efforts launched by Hogg.

In late March, Hogg launched a boycott against advertisers on Fox News host Laura Ingraham‘s program after she had criticized Hogg in a tweet. According to Newsbusters, that boycott effort appears to have backfired spectacularly.

Though Ingraham lost some of her sponsors, she did not suffer for lack of viewers. In fact, her ratings surged by 20 percent in the weeks after Hogg vindictively targeted her.

Prior to that, Hogg led the charge in demanding a boycott against the National Rifle Association, as he and other anti-gun advocates ludicrously held the organization responsible for the deadly mass shooting that took place in Parkland.

RELATED: Apple Tells Gun-Control Advocates To Get Lost with Their Outrageous Demands

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, the NRA saw a spike in new members in the weeks following the targeted campaign against them — as did other gun rights advocacy organizations — though the group declined to specify how many new members they received.

Searches on Google’s search engine for “NRA membership” rose by nearly 4,900 percent in the week following the massacre, and there was plenty of anecdotal evidence on social media as thousands of Facebook and Twitter users posted that they had joined or renewed their memberships with the NRA.

If this latest boycott effort by Hogg is anything like his first two efforts, the targeted firms should see an increase in investments and fund contributions, and may even consider expanding their holdings in the firearms industry to boot.

Lawmakers Recommend Clinton, Comey, Lynch, McCabe for Criminal Referrals

Republican lawmakers on Wednesday sent a slew of criminal referrals to Attorney General Jeff Sessions for a number of Obama administration officials and senior FBI employees for violations of the law in connection to the Clinton email and Trump-Russia investigations.

Specifically, they sent criminal referrals to Sessions for: former FBI Director James Comey, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, as well as FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his lover, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, for separate violations.

The criminal referrals, first reported by investigative journalist Sara Carter, were made by Rep. Ron Desantis (R-FL), a senior member of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees who is leaving the House to run for Florida governor, and nine other colleagues.

Signatories included: GOP Reps. Andy Biggs (AZ), Dave Brat (VA), Jeff Duncan (SC), Matt Gaetz (FL), Paul A. Gosar (AZ), Andy Harris (MD), Jody Hice (GA), Todd Rokita (IN), Claudia Tenney (NY), and Ted Yoho (FL).

“Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined below are vetted appropriately,” said the letter.

They said Comey potentially broke the law when he chose not to seek charges against Clinton, for leaking classified memos of his conversations to President Trump to his friend Daniel Richman to give to the press, and for lying to lawmakers.

They said Clinton potentially broke the law when disguising payments to Fusion GPS, the firm that produced the Trump dossier, despite mandatory disclosures to the Federal Election Commission.

Lynch, they said, potentially broke the law when she threatened a former FBI informant, William Douglas Campbell, who had tried to come forward in 2016 with information related to the Uranium One deal that was approved in 2010.

McCabe potentially broke the law when he lied to investigators four times when questioned about a leak that he had arranged, they said.

Strzok and Page potentially violated the law by interfering in the investigation of Clinton’s private email server, they said. The letter cites a Wall Street Journal report that said their text messages to one another revealed FBI officials tried to eliminate evidence that Clinton had compromised high-level communications with then-President Obama.

“The report provides the following alarming specifics, among others: ‘Mr. Strzok texts Ms. Page to tell her that, in fact, senior officials had decided to water down the reference to President Obama to ‘another senior government official,” the criminal referral said.

Finally, the lawmakers referred all Justice Department and FBI personnel, including Comey, McCabe, former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, and former Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente, for potentially breaking the law by using unverified and/or false information to obtain a surveillance warrant on former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page.

Carter also reported that other recent documents obtained by congressional investigators suggest possible coordination by the Obama White House, the CIA, and the FBI in investigating the Trump campaign.

“According to those documents, the senior Obama officials used unsubstantiated evidence to launch allegations in the media that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia during the run-up to the 2016 presidential election,” Carter reported.

CIA Director John Brennan had briefed Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) in August 2016, prompting Reid to send a letter to then-FBI Director James Comey asking him to investigate allegations of collusion. Reid then reportedly stayed in close touch with Comey.

Washington, DC, considering lowering voting age to just 16 years old

Washington, D.C., is considering lowering the voting age to just 16 years old — in time for the 2020 presidential election.

What are the details?

WUSA-TV reported that D.C. City Council Member Charles Allen (D) was moved propose the measure last week after witnessing the Parkland, Florida, students’ youth-led initiative, March for Our Lives.

“At the age of 16, our society already gives young people greater legal responsibility,” Allen said, according to NBC News. “They can drive a car. They can work. Some are raising a family or helping their family make ends meet. They pay taxes. And yet, they can’t exercise their voice where it matters most — at the ballot box.”

“Two years ago, the argument that I would hear people make was, really? Have you met a 16-year-old?” Allen added. “What we’ve seen over the last several months has just completely eviscerated that argument.”

According to the report, seven of 13 council members support the measure, as well as Mayor Muriel Bowser, according to NBC News.

The measure’s supporters are attempting to set up a public hearing by June and secure a vote by year-end.

Alisha Chopra, a local 18-year-old, told USA Today that, if passed, the legislation could effect great change in the U.S.

“I think people are getting excited about this, especially with what’s going on in the nation right now in terms of youth leading social change,” she said. “So I think that people are going to be very excited about it and want to get on board.”

The nation’s voting age was last lowered — from 21 years old to 18 years old — in 1971 through the 26th Amendment after citizens argued that if a young person should be able to fight in the Vietnam War, they should be able to legally vote as well.

According to USA Today, “[W]hile cities can only extend voting rights in municipal elections, the District of Columbia is treated as a state in some cases, and can, therefore, change the voting age to allow 16 and 17-year-olds to vote for President of the United States in addition to local elections.”

Congress, however, has the authority to strike down the legislation. According to the District of Columbia Home Rule Act of 1973, Congress reserves the right to block any legislation passed by the D.C. City Council.

CNN Washes Out Its Own Role in Outing Hannity’s Legal Chat with Michael Cohen

Greg P. at Twitchy reports the attorney who pressured federal judge Kimba Wood into releasing Sean Hannity’s name is a lawyer for liberal media outlets.

According to reports from inside the courtroom, Judge Wood was ready to allow Michael Cohen to submit the name of his third client — who we now know is Sean Hannity — under seal, but an attorney for five news organizations, including CNN and the New York Times, convinced her otherwise.

From Natasha Bertrand, The Atlantic: “Robert Balin is the attorney’s name. Thanks everyone who commented with it!”

CNN’s Shimon Prokupecz confirmed the ‘under seal’ part, but omitted that the attorney was representing his employer. Prokupecz merely tweeted: “I was in court yesterday and if it wasn’t for the attorney representing the press, Sean Hannity’s name would have been filed under seal. Judge Kimba Wood was ready to accept the name under seal, when the attorney representing the press stood up and argued successfully against it.”

Couldn’t that be because “the press” — the liberal press — wants to tear down Fox News and run around claiming they shouldn’t be defined as a “news organization”? The competitive and ideological juices are flowing all through this controversy.

According to the New York Times, Mr. Balin does indeed represent CNN and the Times:

Robert D. Balin, a lawyer for various media outlets, including The New York Times, CNN and others, interrupted the hearing to argue that embarrassment was not a sufficient cause to withhold a client’s name, and Judge Wood agreed.

After Mr. Hannity was named, there were audible gasps from the spectators.

So all the liberal-media zone-flooding about Hannity’s lack of disclosure came in part with a lack of disclosure. Fascinating. But not unusual. These people use anonymous sources, so why wouldn’t they like to be anonymous from time to time?

California Tenured Professor Celebrates Barbara Bush Dying: ‘I’m Happy the Witch Is Dead’

California State University, Fresno professor Randa Jarrar celebrated former First Lady Barbara Bush passing away Tuesday evening by calling her an "amazing racist" and boasting she was "happy the witch is dead."

Jarrar, a professor in Fresno State’s Department of English, started sending out tweets celebrating Bush’s death within an hour after media outlets reported she had passed away at the age of 92 years old.

"Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. Fuck outta here with your nice words," Jarrar tweeted.

Her now-private tweet generated a lot of controversy with over 3,000 comments, many of which were critical of her comments and called for her to be fired. Several people tagged the Twitter handles of Fresno State’s President Joseph Castro, prompting her to brag about being a "tenured professor" and about how she cannot be fired.

"sweetie i work as a tenured professor. I make 100K a year doing that. i will never be fired. i will always have people wanting to hear what i have to say. even you are one of them! <3," Jarrar tweeted.

She replied to another user: "you can try all you want. i will not be fired. and i know how much that hurts you :)."

She went on to she is "happy" knowing former President George W. Bush is  "probably really sad right now."

"Professor Randa Jarrar is an award-winning novelist, short story writer, essayist, and translator,"  Jarrar’s bio on the university’s website reads. "Her essays have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Utne Reader, Salon, Guernica, The Rumpus, The Sun, and others."

Jarrar continued her attack on Barbara and the Bush family, accusing them of exhibiting "genocidal ways."

"PSA: either you are against these pieces of shit and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. that’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million iraqis have. byyyeeeeeeee," continued Jarrar in an another tweet.

This isn’t the first time Jarrar has responded without sympathy to a Republican fighting for his or her life. Last June, Jarrar tweeted, "I don’t give a single fuck" in response to tweet from Politico reporter Rachael Bade about House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R., La.) fighting for his life after he was shot in the hip.

Castro, the university’s president, sent out a statement a few hours after Jarrar’s tweets, which have since been made private and only viewable to only her followers, went viral. Castro distanced the university from her comments, saying the tweets were "made as a private citizen, not as a representative of Fresno State."

"Professor Jarrar’s expressed personal views and commentary are obviously contrary to the core values of our University, which include respect and empathy for individuals with divergent points of view, and a sincere commitment to the mutual understanding and progress," the statement said.

Bush, who had been battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and congestive heart problems in recent years, was the wife of the 41st president, George H.W. Bush, and mother of the 43rd, George W. Bush, according to Reuters.

The Bushes had six children. A daughter, Robin, died of leukemia in 1953 at age 3. Barbara Bush’s hair began to turn prematurely white after the shock of the girl’s death. In addition to George W. and Jeb, the other Bush children were sons Neil and Marvin and daughter Dorothy.

The Bushes married on Jan. 6, 1945, and Barbara set up households in numerous cities as her husband moved from being a Texas oilman to being a member of Congress, Republican Party leader, U.S. envoy to China and the United Nations and head of the CIA.
