March For Our Lives Isn't a Youth Movement

A month after the Parkland shootings, a Quinnipiac poll showed that voters 18-34 were much less likely to support either an “assault weapons” ban or a ban on the sale of “semi-automatic rifles”.

80% of voters 65 years of age and older supported an “assault weapons ban”, but those 18-34 split over it. A majority of voters 65 and over backed the “semi-automatic rifle” bans, but a majority of 18-34 voters opposed it.

Dershowitz on Cohen Raid: ‘This Is A Very Dangerous Day Today for Lawyer-Client Relations’

Dershowitz on Cohen Raid: ‘This Is A Very Dangerous Day Today for Lawyer-Client Relations’

by Ian Hanchett9 Apr 20180

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz reacted to the raid of Trump attorney Michael Cohen by stating, “this is a very dangerous day today for lawyer-client relations.”

Dershowitz said, “Look, this is a very dangerous day today for lawyer-client relations. I deal with clients all the time. I tell them on my word of honor that what you tell me is sacrosanct. And now they say, just based on probable cause, even though there was cooperation with Cohen, they can burst into the office, grab all the computers, and then give it to another FBI agent, and say, ‘You’re the firewall. We want you now to read all these confidential communications, tell us which ones we can get and which ones we can’t get.’ You know, if this were — the shoe were on the other foot, if this were Hillary Clinton being investigated, and they went into her lawyer’s office, the ACLU would be on every television station in America jumping up and down. The deafening silence of the ACLU and civil libertarians about the intrusion into the lawyer-client confidentiality is really appalling.”

Saint John’s Program For Homeless/Addicted Women Threatened by County Bureaucrats

Saint John's graduates, with Olympian Ruthie Bolton
We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.~Mother Teresa

Today, American’s mental health institutions have become county jails. Especially in California, following the 2011 prison realignment which resulted in moving “non-violent” prisoners from state prisons down to county jails and letting the “non-violent” out of jails. And Propositions 47 and 57 decriminalized theft, and many drug and sex crimes.

Wind farms bring the Egyptian vulture to near-extinction in Andalusia

Red kite sliced by wind turbine in Germany. At their tips, the blades can reach speeds of up to 190 mph
Save the Eagles International has been blowing the whistle on bird slicing wind turbines since its foundation in 2011, and I personally since 2002. Most ornithologists, affected by conflicts of interest, have been denying all along that species of rare birds could face extinction because of the installation of wind farms in their environment. New findings prove they were wrong.

Dirty Cop Mueller Investigating Trump for $150,000 Donation from Ukrainian Oligarch …Who Gave $13 Million to the Clintons

Dirty Cop Mueller Investigating Trump for $150,000 Donation from Ukrainian Oligarch …Who Gave $13 Million to the Clintons

Dirty cop Robert Mueller is reportedly investigating President Trump for a $150,000 donation from Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk to the Trump Foundation for charity work.

Business Insider reported:

** The special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly probing a $150,000 donation a pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch made to the Trump Foundation in September 2015.
** The oligarch, Victor Pinchuk, made the donation after then-candidate Donald Trump gave a 20-minute speech at a European conference that promoted closer ties between Ukraine and the West.
** Pinchuk has previously advocated for making compromises with Russia to resolve the conflict with Ukraine.
** The donation was reportedly solicited by Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, whose offices were raided by the FBI as part of a separate investigation on Monday.

However, this same Ukrainian oligarch gave $13 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Of course, it always works out that way.

All roads lead back to the Clinton crime family.

Via Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller:

The special counsel’s office is investigating a $150,000 donation a Ukrainian businessman made to President Donald Trump’s charity in 2015, according to a new report.

The donation, from steel magnate Victor Pinchuk, pales in comparison to contributions he gave to the charity Bill and Hillary Clinton set up. The billionaire has contributed $13 million to the Clinton Foundation since 2006 and had access to Hillary Clinton while she served as secretary of state.

But Special Counsel Robert Mueller is not investigating The Clintons. Instead, he is conducting a broad investigation of Donald Trump, including the flow of foreign money into various Trump-controlled entities.

PragerU: As The Rich Get Richer, The Poor Get Richer

British writer, journalist and politician Daniel Hannan hosts the newest video from Prager University: “As the Rich Get Richer, the Poor Get Richer” in which he debunks popular myths about capitalism used to attack the free market system.

“The truth is that global inequality is tumbling,” explains Hannan. “Yes, the rich are getting richer, but the poor are getting richer faster. And what’s driving that process? The market. Look at the most basic measures: Literacy. Longevity. Infant mortality. Calorie intake. Height. More and more people are being lifted out of poverty.”

Hannan explains how just in the last forty years, cost of living has gone up, more people are getting educated, and more households are able to afford once expensive luxuries.

“Go a little further back,” he says. “In the seventeenth century, the most powerful man in the world was Louis XIV of France. Every night, he’d have 40 dishes prepared for his dinner, and he’d pick the one he felt like. Think about it: A receptionist today can stop off at a store on her way home and have not only a wider choice than that king, but a fresher one and a healthier one. We all live better than Louis XIV.

“What has caused that miracle? Not any UN development program. Not any government aid scheme,” he says. “What caused it was the market.”

Hannan continues, “The most rapid falls in poverty are happening in countries that are joining the global trading system. Compare growth rates in free-trading Colombia and protectionist Venezuela; or in free-trading Vietnam and protectionist Laos; or in free-trading Bangladesh and protectionist Pakistan. It’s the same story every time.”
