‘The Biggest Story You Never Hear About’: Reporter Sounds The Alarm On Awan Brothers Scandal (VIDEO)

New Congressional documents reveal all 44 House Democrats who hired IT staffer Imran Awan waived the background check on the shady Pakistani national.

The Daily Caller reports:

Every one of the 44 House Democrats who hired Pakistan-born IT aides who later allegedly made “unauthorized access” to congressional data appears to have chosen to exempt them from background checks, according to congressional documents.

All of them appear to have waived background checks on Imran Awan and his family members, even though the family of server administrators could collectively read all the emails and files of 1 in 5 House Democrats, and despite background checks being recommended for such positions, according to an inspector general’s report. The House security policy requires offices to fill out a form attesting that they’ve initiated background checks, but it also includes a loophole allowing them to simply say that another member vouched for them.

The reporter behind the new Awan report, the Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak, joined Fox Business Network Monday to discuss his story.

“If they would have run this background check it would have found out not only multiple criminal convictions, but $1 million bankruptcy, a dozen lawsuits… it would have found a whole host of major red flags and the Democrats didn’t do any of those checks,” Rosiak told host Maria Bartiromo  “

As a result they gave these guys access to everything and IG determined that they were funneling data off the House network.”

“This is the biggest story that you never hear about,” Rosiak added.

“It’s a hack on the Congress by foreigners and the Democrats didn’t care about it, they didn’t stop it. These are the same people who were talking constantly about cyber breaches and Russia. And if you care about one, you’ve got to care about the other.

“So why haven’t they addressed it?”

“It basically destroys that Russian narrative just because it shows that they didn’t actually care about cyber-security and they haven’t responded to this. And thirdly, it could just be a question of, do these guys have something on members of Congress?” the Daily Caller reporter said.

IT specialist Imran Awan worked for Debbie Wasserman Schultz for thirteen years since she was first elected to national office in 2004 as a Florida representative. She only fired him after he was arrested and would have kept paying her “IT expert” even after he fled to Pakistan. The Awan brothers IT ring had access to emails and computer data from an estimated 800 lawmakers and staffers.

Three Pakistani brothers who managed the IT affairs for several Democratic government officials were relieved of their duties in February on suspicion that they accessed specific computer networks without permission, also known as hacking Imran Awan, who started working for Wasserman Schultz in 2005, received $164,600 in 2016, with close to $20,000 of that coming from Wasserman Schultz.

His brother Jamal, who started working as a staffer in 2014, was paid $157,350.12 in 2016. Abid, who started working in 2005, was paid $160,943 in 2016. Imran’s wife, Hina Alvi, who was employed as a staffer since February 2007, was paid 168,300 in 2016. Rao Abbas was paid $85,049 in 2016. Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives in February.

Demonic David Hogg Publishes Names and Emails of Arby’s Execs

With the left’s inclination to act out violently becoming more commonplace in the war on America, it is the height of irresponsibility when one of its most visible figures and attack dogs singles out employees of an organization that isn’t complying with his marching orders to boycott Laura Ingraham after she hurt his feelings.

Parkland punk David Hogg – working with Media Matters – has launched a cyberbullying campaign to force corporations to pull their advertising and with any luck, end Ingraham’s career. Being that the suits at most major corporations are some of the biggest backstabbers and cowards that you could ever imagine, many immediately licked the little fascist’s boots and complied.

Some didn’t, including the extremely popular fast food chain Arby’s and being the bully that he is, Hogg doxed several of the roast beef sandwich restaurant’s top executives by tweeting out their names and email address to his legions of Twitter followers.

Will Hogg be held responsible if harm is to befall any of these innocent people who have been sucked into his demonic little game?

That particular tweet has since been deleted. Perhaps Hogg’s handlers realized the potential for severe legal if not criminal consequences if the youngster’s impetuous actions led to the harm of one of the Arby’s employees or their families.

Hogg may have deleted the tweet but his followers are spreading the information, here’s one example of one of them encouraging others to deluge the Arby’s people with hate mail.

This is beginning to get dangerous and where the hell are the adults?

Did PC allow abusive lesbian couple to adopt (and kill) six black children?

The horrific cliff plunge of eight people off an isolated northern California highway, and now the revelation that it was likely intentional, ought to raise questions about political correctness, given the abusive backdrop.

What we had here was a lesbian couple virtue-signaling with six adopted black children, who used them publicly for political purposes and then abused them back home, before eventually driving them all off a cliff in a Thelma and Louise-style dramatic climax.  The question it raises is why a couple like this was permitted to adopt six innocent black children, why they were able to use and showcase them for political purposes, and why authorities failed to act quickly to shut the whole thing down when the first evidence of child abuse surfaced.  The result is a terrible apparent murder-suicide that’s now on their hands, quite possibly as a result of political correctness – a willingness to ignore red flags because the white flags of P.C. were already flown.

The warning signs were ample: an unconventional family, wanting to prove that unconventional family setups are just as good as, or, in fact, actually better than, traditional family setups.  Some are (and I know of unconventional parents who raise their children right, so let’s not knock all of them, but to be fair, the obstacles are higher), and many are not.  It’s not good to start a family to prove a political point, which looks as though it might have been a reason the Harts, who drove their kids off a cliff, did.

Then there was evidence of a sentimental desire to “save” black people that some whites, usually on the left, have.  Again, to be fair, there are many good white couples who adopt children who are black and who raise these children with good results.  But in general, they adopt the kids not precisely because they are black (knowing that there could be cultural obstacles), but because these children are available and having a parent of any color is better than a child not having a parent.  The Harts adopted six, as if in all their efforts to adopt kids, only black kids were available.  This would seem to go against the random laws of averages, for one.  But what a coincidence: all the kids they adopted were black, which raises more red flags about a white savior complex.

Then there was the use of the children for political purposes, as one of the children, Devonte, was used by the couple in a protest against police.  Did they adopt the kids to politically showcase them?  The fact that they homeschooled them suggests that they sought to isolate them.  Again, nothing wrong with homeschooling, but combined with some of the other factors, it ought to have been a red flag.  Is it too much to ask if that went on now with the Hart couple who drove their kids off the cliff?

Lastly, there was the evidence of abuse.  Sarah Hart beat up one of her kids in 2011, leaving the child with bruises, and somehow got off, with all that virtue-signaling and a claim that she let her anger get the better of her.  Then there was another child’s plea for protection at the door of a neighbor at 1:30 a.m. and, finally, young Devonte’s plea for food to his neighbors as he was being repeatedly punished by the withholding of all that supposedly organic food they were serving, which apparently triggered the flight to the highway and the cliff.

Authorities should have fast-tracked the case, given all the warning signs.  But it’s hard not to suspect that political correctness and all the virtue-signaling that went on with the couple created a smokescreen that fooled politically correct authorities.

Now the kids are dead, and somebody has gotten away with it.

Gun-Controlled London’s Murder Rate Passes That Of New York City

You mean getting rid of guns didn’t get rid of murder?

Via NY Post:

Londoners are alarmed that their city has seen more murders over the past two months than New York City – as police across the pond deal with a surge in knife crime, according to reports.

In February and March, 37 people were killed in London, compared to 35 in the Big Apple, according to the Sunday Times.

Now local pols are even looking to New York’s Finest for crime-fighting inspiration.

“New York has been able to bring down serious violence through a public health approach,” Croydon Central MP Sarah Jones, who chairs a parliamentary committee on knife crime, told the BBC.

“We need a proper strategy that looks at all of the issues.

James Woods Spots Epic Traffic Sign About Illegals, Instantly Goes Viral

Hollywood icon and Twitter conservative par excellence James Woods is one of the few very openly conservative celebrities in La La Land. He’s not the only one saying some wonderfully politically incorrect stuff out there, mind you — but he’s probably the only one famous for reasons aside from punditry.

However, when he finds someone else saying something else brilliant about the mess that California is in thanks to liberalism, he’s more than happy to share it, especially in 280 characters or less.

For those of you who haven’t visited Los Angeles recently, the roads are (predictably) a mess.

This isn’t just because one of the most ostensibly eco-conscious cities in the world is also filled with tons and tons of cars. It’s also because the penurious state doesn’t exactly have the money to fix them.

However, as one group of street artists noted in this recent work, the state has plenty of money for other priorities — and Woods decided to tweet it out for the world to see.

Yes, Los Angeles has the second-worst streets in the country, according to a 2016 report from TRIP. That’s just behind San Francisco-Oakland — which, I bet you can guess which state that’s in, too.

What’s ironic is both of those areas are in climates that don’t experience harsh winters, which are the usual cause of potholes.

According to KPCC, potholes cost Los Angeles-area drivers nearly $3,000 a year in both auto damage the associated costs of bad roads.

Do you think the state of California needs to get its priorities in order?

Yet, Los Angeles seems to find other ways to spend money besides repairing its broken roads. In 2015 and 2016, Fox News reported, Los Angeles County made $1.3 billion in welfare payouts to illegal aliens.

Los Angeles currently has the second-largest population of illegal aliens in the country, with an estimated 1 million, right behind New York City with 1.2 million. So, why would any city or state want illegal immigrants? Well, just ask James W. Lucas, who’s studied the issue.

In a piece over at National Review written after California Attorney General Xavier Becerra sued the Trump administration over its plan to ask people whether or not they’re citizens on the 2020 census, Lucas argued the answer is that it provides cities and states who have large numbers of illegal immigrants with greater political power — so long as the census counts them.

“Immigration has a profound effect on politics at the intra-state level as well. As between states, non-citizen immigrant populations are unevenly dispersed within states. They generally concentrate in urban areas, where they distort the apportionment of state legislatures and congressional seats even more than nationally,” Lucas wrote.

RELATED: 380 Sheriffs in 40 States Just Issued Orders to Congress on Behalf of Pres. Trump

In research for his new book, Lucas said he found “New York City has at least ten more seats in the 150-member assembly (the lower house of the New York State legislature) than it would if apportionment were based on the citizen population. In Illinois, Cook County (Chicago) has at least one extra seat in the U.S. House of Representatives based on counting its large non-citizen population. This pattern is found across the nation.”

Perhaps not surprisingly, these locales are those that have fought Trump hardest on the issue of immigration. Of course, this power comes with a tradeoff — that being paying for residents who don’t pay most taxes.

So, if you live in Southern California and you’re tired of L.A.’s potholes, you know who to thank — all courtesy of some enterprising street artists and James Woods.

Our power grid remains open to both physical and cyber-attacks

Just in case you were feeling a little too cheerful, what with the arrival of Spring and the failure of the Chinese space station to fall on your head and all, here’s a little something to keep you a bit more grounded. A new Congressional Research Service report indicates that despite decades of warnings being issued to the energy sector, our power grid is still far too vulnerable to attacks, posing the threat of massive power outages which could bring the country to its knees for weeks, months or even years. And, as Adam Kredo explains at the Free Beacon, we’re not even talking about high-tech terror attacks or massive hacking schemes. We’ve already been hit with scattered attacks which require little more than a single person with a rifle.

The U.S. electric grid has become increasingly vulnerable to what the federal government is describing as an unprecedented wave of attacks that threatens to cripple the nation, according to a new investigative report that warns the energy industry is lagging in efforts to boost physical security of these critical sites.

Amid a wave of increasing attacks across the country on key power stations, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, or NERC, has been struggling to force the power industry to enact a series of security improvements meant to stop would-be attackers and terrorists from crippling the nation’s infrastructure.

Since 2014, “security risks to the power grid have become an even greater concern in the electric utility industry,” according to a new Congressional Research Service report that warns the power industry “has not necessarily reached the level of physical security needed based on the sector’s own assessments of risk.”

The two scenarios which could potentially send the whole country back into the dark ages for a while are a massive electromagnetic pulse (EMP) burst or a particularly well planned hacking effort. But as the report notes, there have been local attacks using rifles and small, improvised explosive charges at transformer substations which have cut out the power over specific areas for a significant number of hours. A more widespread, coordinated attack of even such a low-tech nature which takes out some of the huge, regional transformers could spell trouble for weeks or months. And most of these stations have limited security in place if they have any at all.

This is frustrating to many analysts because we’re not waiting for some new, Star Wars level technology to be developed. The technical ability to “smarten” up the grid and isolate outages already exists, but it’s expensive to put in place. The utilities don’t want to spend the money and the government either doesn’t have it or can’t dig that deeply into the private industry’s infrastructure. (Or both.) At the individual stations, it would take some resources to put in more effective shielding and defensive arrangements to thwart low-tech attacks, but it could clearly be done with enough effort. This could conceivably be one project which might be included in any proposed federal infrastructure package.

I realize it’s a bit of a dry topic and not as “exciting” as many other threats we face, but it needs to be addressed. We’ve identified a vulnerability which our enemies doubtless already know about and we have the capacity to largely mitigate the danger. Failing to do so shifts the blame at least partly onto us, not just the prospective terrorists.

Trump Has Tweeted About Amazon Four Times In Last Week. Amazon Loses $37 Billion In Value.

It’s never good to be on the receiving end of a withering attack by Donald Trump. That applies equally to people — like Rep. Nancy Pelosi — and companies — like, say, Amazon.

Amazon was created by Jeff Bezos, and the massive company made him a billionaire. With all his extra cash, Bezos decided to move into journalism, buying The Washington Post, a once-great newspaper. Since he bought the Post, the paper has relentlessly attacked President Trump.

So Trump decided to fight fire with fire. He’s tweeted about Amazon — it’s sweetheart deal with the U.S. Postal Service, whether Bezos is really a “lobbyist,” the company’s tax-paying history — and the counter-punching is having a serious effect: Amazon’s stock is down 7% since Trump’s onslaught began. That’s a $37 billion loss in market value.

“The Dow dropped more than 700 points and the Nasdaq plunged 3% on Monday. All three major indexes are now in the red for the year,” CNN reported.

“The sell-off on the first day of the second quarter came after President Trump once again attacked Amazon on Twitter. Amazon (AMZN), one of the biggest drivers of the 2017 market rally, tumbled 5%, wiping out more than $37 billion of its market value.”

Again, note to anyone out there — anyone: Don’t mess with Trump. It never pays off in the end.

Deputy Warns Protester in Cruiser’s Way, Takes Her Down, Keeps Right on Rolling

A sheriff’s deputy stands accused of running over a protester with his car during demonstrations over the death of an unarmed African-American man in Sacramento, California, after video emerged of the incident.

The incident occurred Saturday night during a tense protest over Stephon Clark, who was shot by police after they allegedly mistook an iPhone he was carrying for a gun.

Protests surrounding the March 18 police shooting intensified this weekend after an autopsy ordered by the family and released late last week concluded seven of the eight bullets that Clark took from police hit him in the back. Dr. Bennet Omalu’s autopsy also found that any of the shots would have been fatal.

In the video, obtained by a reporter with KXTV, a Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy can be heard warning protesters to move out of the way of his SUV before running over a 61-year-old protester.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC FOOTAGE THAT SOME VIEWERS MAY FIND DISTURBING

Conservative Tribune Daily Email

According to The Washington Post, the incident took place on Florin Road, a busy thoroughfare in the Californian capital. The video shows protesters surrounding the SUV chanting, “When people are occupied, resistance is justified.”

As the cruiser was surrounded, the police vehicle’s lights flashed and its sirens sounded. A second SUV arrivef behind the first one, presumably as backup.

“Back away from my vehicle,” the deputy in the first cruiser can be heard saying over the loudspeaker. After four warnings, the cruisers then began slowly moving forward and a woman from the crowd came in between the two vehicles.

Do you think that this action was justified?

The woman can be seen being hit in the leg by the second SUV, which moved on. The protester, 61-year-old Wanda Cleveland, was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Protesters, meanwhile, chanted “Hit and run!” after the police vehicle hit Cleveland.

According to Fox News, a statement by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the incident, saying it occurred while the vehicle was “traveling at slow speeds.”

RELATED: Car in Building, Examiner Headed to Hospital After Teen Driving Test Nightmare

“During the incident, the Sheriff’s Department vehicle sustained scratches, dents, and a shattered rear window,” the statement said.

“The damage to the vehicle was not a result of the collision involving the pedestrian but was caused by vandals in the crowd,” it added.

The California Highway Patrol will be reviewing the matter. The deputy or deputies involved in the incident have yet to be named.

USA Today reported that Sacramento was “calm” on Easter Sunday after several nights of tense protests over Clark’s death. However, the Sacramento Black Lives Matter Facebook page has urged residents to “(b)e on the look out” for other events to come this week.

Largest Connecticut Newspaper Calls on Dem Rep to Resign for Covering up Abuse Allegations

The Hartford Courant, the largest newspaper in Connecticut, called on Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D., Conn.) to resign Friday over allegations she kept her chief of staff Tony Baker on the payroll for three months after finding out he left a voicemail threatening the life of one of her former female aides.

Baker is accused of physically abusing and sexually harassing Anna Kain, a former Esty aide that he once dated. In a recording obtained by the Washington Post, Baker threatened to kill Kain if she did not reply to him, the Post reports:

Rather than firing or suspending Baker, the congresswoman consulted her personal attorneys and advisers, she said. She also spoke to Kain on May 11, emails show; Kain said she provided detailed allegations that Baker had punched, berated and sexually harassed her in Esty’s Capitol Hill office throughout 2014, while she worked as Esty’s senior adviser.

Later, Esty enlisted a friend, former chief of staff Julie Sweet, to look into Baker’s past behavior, emails show.

Baker did not leave for three months. By his last day on Aug. 12, according to documents Esty provided to The Post, he and Esty had co-written a positive recommendation letter he could use in a job search and signed a legal document preventing her from disparaging him or discussing why he left.

The Courant‘s editorial board said Esty will probably spend the next several days attempting to defend her failure to take strong steps to protect Klain, who alleged she was punched, berated, and sexually harassed by Baker in Esty’s Capitol Hill office throughout 2014. The Courant, however, said Esty shouldn’t waste her constituents’ time and should just resign, calling her actions "appalling."

"You better f—–g reply to me or I will f—–g kill you," Baker said in the recording left for Kain on May 5, according to the Post.

"The next day, I confronted him about this and said, ‘This is completely unacceptable,’" Esty told the Courant. "He did not deny that this happened. He was contrite. I told him he had to get anger management and basically stop drinking."

The editorial board said it was "completely unacceptable" what Esty did by trying to sweep the allegations under the rug. The congresswoman told the Post that "she was pressured by the Office of House Employment Counsel to sign" a nondisclosure agreement in order to get Baker out of her office, but the Courant said Esty has done "too little, too late" and that she is only acknowledging the incident because the allegations came to the public’s attention. Esty’s full statement can be read here.

The editorial board went on to sat Esty had every opportunity, or responsibility, to at least suspend Baker and hold him accountable for his behavior, calling her attitude "complicit."

Despite Esty’s reaction to the situation with her chief of staff, the congresswoman joined some of her colleagues in Congress late last year to call on fellow Rep. John Conyers, (D., Mich.) to step down after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment.

"I do think that reports that have come to light in the last 48 hours are of an extremely serious nature," she said of the allegations against Conyers. "They involve people he had direct authority over, staff in his congressional office who are entirely reliant upon him for their livelihood. … I think it’s entirely unacceptable and I think he should resign."

Conyers ultimately announced he would retire from office less than a week after several members of Congress called on him to do so, and he endorsed his son to run for his seat.

Dinesh D’Souza Just Posted a Brutal Soros Interview on the Holocaust

Liberal financier George Soros is one of the most controversial political figures in the world.

Much is made of the fact that Soros, whose dollars help fund many left-wing foundations from Media Matters for America to Planned Parenthood, survived the Nazi occupation of his native Hungary even though, as an individual of Jewish background, he was potentially subject to the atrocities of the Holocaust.

Much is also made of Soros’ conduct during World War II, however, in which he admits to having helped his protector seize Jewish property.

One time that he spoke on the subject was during an interview with “60 Minutes” journalist Steve Kroft. In it, he was asked about that experience.

That interview resurfaced this past week after conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza retweeted a video of its most damning part.

Conservative Tribune Daily Email

Thanks For Subscribing!

In the interview, Soros explained how he “was 14 years old” when he managed to evade the Nazis.

“And I would say that that’s when my character was made … That one should think ahead. One should understand that, and anticipate events and when, when one is threatened. It was a tremendous threat of evil. I mean, it was a — a very personal experience of evil.”

However, Kroft wanted to question him about what he did with the man who convinced authorities Soros was his godson.

“My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson,” Kroft said.

“Yes, yes,” Soros answered.

“Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews,” Kroft continued.

Did this video change your opinion of Soros?

“That’s right. Yes,” Soros responded.

RELATED: Modeling Legend Fabio Goes on Tucker, Unloads on Democrat Leaders in California

“I mean, that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?” Kroft asked.

“Not, not at all.  Not at all,” a smiling Soros said.

He was then asked if there were any feelings of guilt. “No,” Soros responded.

Dinesh D’Souza, in his tweet, got to the heart of the issue perfectly.

“The issue isn’t what Soros did with the Nazis when he was 14. It is his complete absence of remorse for it as an adult,” the conservative commentator wrote.

There is something about a man who refuses, in any way, to appropriately deal with the past. This is an event which, no matter what the circumstances, should compel some guilt on the part of those who experienced them — or at least reflection. Not smiling.

I may not have experienced these things, but I’ve seen enough interviews with those who have to know what the normal range of human experience is. This lies outside of it — and it bears watching if just because of the insights it provides into Soros’ personality.
