Sorry, But There’s NO DENYING Trump’s Culpability In What Happened Friday

When a company fails, who do you blame — its individual employees or the boss up top?

Though some wish to pretend that President Donald Trump deserves either limited blame or no blame for the ginormous $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill that he signed into law Friday, I call bullshit.

I remember Trump frequently touting his allegedly prodigious deal-making skills during the last presidential election: “It’s give-and-take,” he said in an interview with Business Insider five months after he announced his candidacy in 2015. “But it’s gotta be mostly take. Because you can’t give. You gotta mostly take.”

Yet the bill he signed into law “gave Democrats everything they wanted, including half a billion dollars to Planned Parenthood,” but failed to fully fund his proposed southern border wall. Trump took it, alright. He took it right in the ass.

If you think I’m being too rough on him, let me just give you a small taste of how some of his most fervent supporters reacted:

And it wasn’t just famous people either. Nearly every caller who dialed into conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh’s show Friday expressed an equal dose of disgust and outrage.

“We got snake-bit as far as I’m concerned. Anyway, I’m damn mad — as a conservative, I’m damn mad — and I don’t have to take it anymore. I think the man has lost principle totally, and I just will not vote for him again and I’ll be looking for somebody else to be our Republican president in the next election,” said William from Ogden, Utah.

“Listen, I’m so fed up with this whole government stuff now. They’ve just rolled our president, the one that I voted for. I live in California and I voted for Donald Trump. I’ll never do it again,” added Pat from California.

Limbaugh tried to quell their anger by claiming “(t)his is exactly what the establishment in Washington in the Congress — this is exactly the reaction they want. They want you blaming Trump for this. They want you thinking Trump has failed.”

“They want you thinking Trump has been compromised. They want you thinking Trump has been eaten up and swallowed by the swamp. They want you think Trump has sold you out.”

As caller Dan from Michigan rightly pointed out, however, “He did [fail].”

Limbaugh further tried arguing that the omnibus was “no different than how any other budget legislation would get done with any other Republican president in Washington.”

“This is exactly how it happens with any Republican in there. This isn’t game changing,” he said.

That’s the point, Mr. Limbaugh. Trump won the election in part because of his promise to be a genuine maverick. But the Trump we saw Friday evening, Friday afternoon, last September, last May and countless other times isn’t a maverick. He’s a soft, weak-kneed, bleeding-heart chump, and yeah, I said it!

Have I personally given up on him yet? Of course not. But I have definitely chosen to stop excusing his bullshit.

Look, folks, you can’t act like Trump is some topnotch, Godfather-like bossman, and then turn around and whine that he’s failing because Republicans aren’t supporting him enough and blah, blah, blah.

He’s the damn president and commander in chief, and if he wants to win reelection in 2020, he better man up and start acting like it!

U.S. Lawmakers Want China’s Confucius Institutes to Register as Foreign Agents

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Three U.S. Republican lawmakers said on Wednesday they wanted China’s Confucius Institute cultural centers in the United States to register as foreign agents, and to require all U.S. universities to disclose major gifts from foreign sources.

Run by the Chinese government, the Confucius Institutes offer language and cultural programs at more than 100 U.S. colleges and universities. They have been criticized as an attempt by Beijing to influence U.S. higher education.

Senators Marco Rubio and Tom Cotton, and Representative Joe Wilson introduced the "Foreign Influence Transparency Act," which would require the institutes to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA.

The measure, which comes amid increasing concern from some U.S. officials about Chinese influence in U.S. education, also would require universities to disclose donations, contracts or in-kind gifts valued at $50,000 or more from any foreign source.

Many U.S. politicians have been pushing for the United States to take a harder line in its dealings with China, particularly President Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans, but also many Democrats.

The Confucius Institute headquarters in Beijing did not respond to a request for comment.

But Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said they aimed to increase educational and cultural exchanges to help mutual understanding and boost friendship.

The real issue for those making "noise" about China was about how they viewed the world and China’s development, she told reporters.

"Hearing all this noise of late, sometimes makes me think of what Confucius said: ‘The gentleman is easy of mind, while the small man is always full of anxiety,’" Hua said.

"We hope these people can abandon these outmoded ideas and get their brains, along with their bodies, into the 21st century, and objectively and rationally view the trends of the time in global development and China’s development progress."

On Friday Dr. Epstein joined Tucker Carlson to discuss an upcoming presentation on “The Search Suggestion Effect (SSE): How Search Suggestions Can Be Used To Shift Opinions and Voting Preferences Dramatically.” The AIBRT researchers looked at the power of Google and Facebook to influence elections. The study spanned five years of investigations.

The results are stunning.

Dr. Epstein told Tucker Carlson: I can tell you we should be paranoid because Google and Facebook can do is really mind-boggling. For example if Mark Zuckerberg on election day last year, if he had chosen to press the enter key early morning and just sent out a message to Hillary Clinton supporters only saying, “Go out and vote,” that would have sent her an additional 450,000 voters that day with no one knowing that this had occurred. And that’s just Facebook. What Google can do is really off the scale. Our studies show that Google can take a 50-50 split among undecided voters and change it into a 90-10 split with no one knowing they had been manipulated and without leaving a paper trail… It has to do with those search suggestions. Literally from the very first character that you type into the search bar you are being manipulated. And we’ve done 16 months of experiments. We’ve done all the research now and we know exactly how this works… The threat is absolutely, positively profound.

This was a shocking segment.
Even Tucker Carlson was stunned by Dr. Epstein’s study.

But Google and Facebook won’t be surprised by the results.
There’s a reason why they’ve been targeting only conservative websites for the past year.

GOP leaders in Congress may want to focus on this threat to their base and to America instead of working so hard to derail the Trump administration.
…Before it’s too late.

Report: Bolton set to clean house at NSC

The permanent national security bureaucracy – whom many call the Deep State – is in big trouble at the White House.


A new sheriff is in town, and his name is John Bolton.  Bolton, named the new national security adviser by Donald Trump, is ready to fire dozens of White House staffers when he takes the job next month.



Washington Examiner:


Among those who will get the boot will be Obama administration holdovers and anyone who isn’t loyal to President Trump, sources told Foreign Policy.


“Bolton can and will clean house,” one former White House official was quoted as saying.


On Thursday, Trump announced that Bolton would replace H.R. McMaster as head of the National Security Council – a move that would be effective on April 9.


Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under former President George W. Bush, hinted in follow-up interviews Thursday on Fox News and Fox Business that he would be a strong force to solve the White House’s lingering issue with leaks, particularly those of a national security nature.


“It’s not for them to put in jeopardy the other 300 plus million American citizens just because they think their morality is better than everybody else’s,” Bolton said of the leakers on Fox Business.


Trump may be having trouble draining the swamp on Capitol Hill, but he’s making progress on the diplomatic and national security fronts.  State Department employees have been whining for months about Trump not naming new personnel.  Dire warnings about how badly U.S. diplomatic efforts will suffer because there aren’t enough bureaucrats to push the paper appear not to be materializing.


So now it’s the turn of the NSC.  It really is outrageous that Obama holdovers have access to information that, when leaked selectively, can make their boss look bad.  But that’s the nature of the NSC, as the appointed staffers rely heavily on others to be kept up to date on what’s happening in the world.


If Bolton follows through, I fully expect most of those positions to go unfilled.  And that’s as good as anything when you’re trying to drain the swamp.

The far left organized March for Our Lives march and rally was held today in several cities in the US.

The largest turnout was in Washington DC where liberals and Hollywood elites bused in several hundred children.

In Washington DC it was clear the march and rally was more than just about taking away gun rights.

The protesters marching past the Trump Hotel in Washington DC took time out to flip off the building and wave their anti-Trump signs.

Virginia Beach Man Arrested For Threatening To Murder GOP Rep. Scott Taylor

A 69-year-old Virginia Beach man has been arrested for threatening to murder Congressman Scott Taylor (R-Va.).

According to court documents, Wallace Grove Godwin visited Rep. Taylor’s office in Virginia Beach on Thursday.

After becoming frustrated during a discussion about marijuana policy, Godwin allegedly made the following statement to a staff member:

“Scott is having an event this Saturday. I am going to get my shotgun and do something about this. I will just handle this myself.”

Godwin then pointed at two staffers in the room and stated, “You two are next.”

The discussion between Godwin and those at Taylor’s office was about marijuana policy in the state of Virginia.

Rep. Taylor was a cosponsor of a bill last year that would end the federal prohibition of marijuana.

Court documents also reveal this isn’t Godwin’s first aggressive interaction with Rep. Taylor. In 2017, Godwin visited Rep. Taylor’s residence and interacted with him outside the home. He also visited the Virginia Beach office once before and yelled at congressional staff members.

You Want To Have A Serious Talk About Gun Violence? Let’s Talk About Chicago And Handguns

But they never want to talk about that. Talk about racism.

It seems fairly evident that nobody on the gun control side of the aisle wants to have a serious talk about guns and gun violence. What they want is an easy win. They want to cast the National Rifle Association as the epitome of evil. An army of children is marching on Washington this weekend, and they want to take semi-automatic rifles away, specifically, the spooky AR-15 rifle.

If they were actually serious about gun violence, they’d be talking about places like Chicago and they’d lobby for further regulation of or outright ban on the sale of handguns. Yes, the real numbers actually show rifles are among the safest firearms for an American to own. According to the FBI, Americans are roughly 20 times more likely to die at the end of a handgun.

Yet, handguns are definitively not part of the script the media follows when a mass shooting occurs in America. First, blue check marks start tweeting for gun control while the bodies are still warm. Second come the spin masters like Bloomberg’s anti-gun Everytown USA, which got basically the entire media to repeat a wildly false statistic that 18 school shootings had occurred in 2018. Third come the “thoughtful” and “powerful” opeds, lately from veterans quick to use their service as a lecturing device.

Finally, the big brands come out to play.

We get scary posts on the AR-15 like this one from a two-time Pulitzer recipient at The New York Times, which notes that “173 people have been killed in mass shootings in the United States involving AR-15s, according to a New York Times analysis.” Of course, the article — which reads like a less dishonest version of a press release from Everytown — is missing the context on handguns. How else would they have fit in the swipe at the NRA, the quote from a military veteran for gun control, and all the terrifying language about the infantry’s use of AR-15s?

BUSTED: McConnell Used $1.3 Trillion Omnibus To Gift Him And His Cronies With DESPICABLE Presents

Besides containing funding for Planned Parenthood, funding for sanctuary cities and funding for gun control research, the patently horrific $1.3 trillion omnibus bill passed by the GOP-led House and Senate this week also contains a salary boost for America’s least finest, according to the Washington Free Beacon:

The Senate increased its total salaries of officers and employees by $12.6 million in the 2,232-page bill that lawmakers had fewer than 48 hours to read and vote on. …

Salaries of staffers in the Senate are also set for an increase. Division I of the legislation breaks down the total salaries of officers and employees, which are being raised from $182 million in 2017 to $194.8 million in the final bill, an increase of $12.58 million.

The Senate also increased its expense account, as expense allowances are going from $177,000 to $192,000, an increase of $15,000.

Led by lifelong RINO hack Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Senate basically just used our money to reward itself for not doing its job.

And while House Speaker Paul Ryan is as much of a hack as McConnell, at least his chamber of Congress “kept its budget for salaries the same at $22.3 million and lowered expenses by $4.4 million.” That’s appreciated.

As for McConnell, he simply couldn’t keep himself from exploiting the omnibus to score some goodies. How nice of him …

It’s no real surprise, though, given his and his wife’s history of corruption. If you knew what I know about them, you’d realize that, though they present themselves as “Republicans,” they share far more in common with Democrat crooks like Hillary Rodham Clinton.

And oh, did you know that McConnell’s wife once successfully pressured Fox News into ridding itself of political commentator Erick Erickson because he had the apparent temerity to call the current Senate majority leader out on his bullshit?

It’s a good thing I don’t work for Fox News, because this means I can get away with loudly and proudly saying F–K YOU, Mitch, you bitch!
