High School Anti-Gun Rally Turns Violent=> Students Beat Cop, Steal His Baton, Smash Police Car (VIDEO)

Several hundred high school students staged a walk-out protest on Friday.

Students from Stagg, Edison, Chavez, Lincoln and Village Oak high schools walked out of class and in the streets creating traffic problems in the area as most streets were blocked off.

At least five students at the anti-gun protests were arrested.

The angry students were charged with battery on an officer, resisting arrest, taking an officer’s baton and vandalizing vehicles, including patrol vehicles, Stockton police said.

The student mob threw rocks and damaged both police and citizen vehicles.

It was a peaceful protest on a Friday afternoon.

Google Appears to Remove All Shopping Search Results for Guns — Even Water Guns, ‘Guns and Roses,’ ‘Burgundy’

Google Appears to Remove All Shopping Search Results for Guns — Even Water Guns, ‘Guns and Roses,’ ‘Burgundy’

Google has removed search results for any product that contains the word “gun” in it, including water guns, toy guns, the band “Guns and Roses,” and even “burgundy” from its shopping section.

Google has removed results in its shopping tool for a wide range of terms related to firearms, unwittingly censoring completely unrelated items such as music groups and movies whose titles matched filtered terms.

Google Shopping allows users to search for products from a wide range of online shopping sites to compare prices and offerings. The Internet giant has removed search results for a wide variety of terms, which was discovered by social media users this week.

Searches for “gun,” “guns,” “pistol,” “pistols,” “AR-15,” “rifle,” and “revolver,” in the shopping section of Google’s search engine will now fail to return any results, while other searches which have nothing to do with firearms but include the keywords similarly provide no results, including “toy guns,” “water guns,” “glue gun,” “Guns and Roses,” “Gundam,” “Top Gun,” “Naked Gun,” the Man With the Golden Gun,” “Shogun,” “Sex Pistols,” and even “burgundy.”

The fact that words including “gun” as part of the title have led many to suspect Google is running a filter specifically to remove any search result including those letters, as opposed to filtering by product category or vendor.

Searches for “flamethrower,” “knives,” “machete,” “arsenic,” “bombs,” “ammo,” and various gun parts are still returned, however.

Search engine Bing has also removed search results for “pistol” and “rifle,” but does not censor other products with the word “gun” in them.

Google Shopping was the focus of an EU antitrust case against Google that resulted in a record $2.7 billion fine against the company.

GOP Senator: We Need ‘Idiot Control,’ Not ‘Gun Control’

Sen. John N. Kennedy (R., La.) said on Tuesday during an appearance on CNN that America needs greater "idiot control" instead of more "gun control."

Kennedy, Louisiana’s junior senator who has developed a reputation for his colorful use of colloquialisms since coming to Congress in 2017, was on "CNN Newsroom" to discuss his opposition to any new gun control measures being pushed in the wake of the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Fla. earlier this month.

The shooting, which left 17 dead and countless wounded, has reignited the national conversation surrounding gun control.

CNN’s John Berman asked Kennedy about his opposition to a bipartisan measure being championed by Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R., Texas) that would strengthen the information reporting process between state and federal agencies to better identify who is and isn’t eligible to purchase firearms.

"I don’t think we need more gun control laws," Kennedy said.

"Not a single one?" Berman replied.

"No," Kennedy affirmed. "I think we need more idiot control."

Cornyn’s legislation, S. 2135 or the Fix National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Act, has taken on new importance since Congress came back into session Monday. The bill aims to increase the efficiency of federal and state agencies in reporting criminal offenses and other pertinent background information to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) database. The NICS database, which is run by the FBI, determines if an individual meets the requirements for firearm ownership. The bill rewards agencies in compliance with the measure with greater federal funding while penalizing those that are not.

When pressed about who he classified as "idiots," the senator explained he was referring to those who commit crimes like the mass shooting in Parkland but not to those who are mentally ill. Kennedy acknowledged that in those cases, he might "misuse" the term. He argued that there is, however, too often a jump to assume all mass shooting perpetrators are mentally ill when they might just be "evil." Kennedy specifically cited the fact that many have been quick to say the Parkland shooter was mentally ill but no one has been able to confirm he was for sure.

"I don’t know that, so I will call him an idiot," Kennedy said.

Barbra Streisand Blames Trump for Florida Shooting: He ‘Brings Out the Violence in People’

Barbra Streisand Blames Trump for Florida Shooting: He ‘Brings Out the Violence in People’

Actress and singer Barbra Streisand took her criticism of President Donald Trump to a new level in an interview with Variety, in which she says Trump shares the blame for the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

“I think even that shooter was affected because Trump brings out the violence in people,” Streisand says, of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, earlier this month that saw Nikalos Cruz kill 17 people with a legally purchased AR-15 rifle.

“He says, ‘It’s OK — rally, lock her up,’” Streisand told Variety of then-candidate Trump and a refrain he chanted about then-candidate Hillary Clinton at campaign rallies.

The two-time Academy Award-winner also praised the students campaigning for more gun control laws in the wake of the Florida shooting.

“I’m so proud of the children who are coming out and talking about sensible gun control,” she said. “That to me, the children, are our future. The children are going to make this happen. I believe that.”

Indeed, Barbra Streisand has long-criticized President Trump. She wrote a Huffington Post article last July, entitled “The Fake President,” in which she writes, “There’s a narcissistic fraud in the White House.”

The 74-year-old, who was a vocal supporter of Clinton, has also blamed President Trump for her weight gain.

“Donald Trump is making me gain weight,” Streisand wrote on Twitter. “I start the day with liquids, but after the morning news, I eat pancakes smothered in maple syrup!”

Report: More Than 100,000 Non-Citizens Are Registered Voters in Pennsylvania

Report: More Than 100,000 Non-Citizens Are Registered Voters in Pennsylvania

More than 100,000 non-U.S. citizens are registered voters in Pennsylvania, according to testimony contained in a lawsuit demanding that the state admit its problems when it comes to non-citizen voting.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation argued that non-citizens have been voting in Pennsylvania for decades, and that problem has been evident in other states the organization has worked with—including New Jersey and Virginia.

But the state has not granted PILF’s open records requests to access the data at the root of the problem, the organization said in the lawsuit filed in federal court in Harrisburg.

“For months, Pennsylvania bureaucrats have concealed facts about non-citizens registering and voting — that ends today,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said.

Adams said the state already admitted that it allowed non-citizens renewing their driver’s licenses to have the opportunity to register to vote.

Pennsylvania officials, however, declined to comment on the lawsuit or the more than 100,000 non-citizen voters.

“We’re not going to comment on anything related to litigation,” said Wanda Murren, director of communications and press at the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Of the more than 100,000 non-citizen voters in Pennsylvania, one city commissioner found in September that at least 90 of those non-citizens registered to vote cast ballots in Philadelphia. Hundreds more non-citizens who did not vote were also on the voter rolls.

The PILF also went after a county in Texas for failing to release non-citizen voting records back in December.

Barack Obama: ‘We Didn’t Have a Scandal that Embarrassed Us’ in My Presidency

Barack Obama: ‘We Didn’t Have a Scandal that Embarrassed Us’ in My Presidency

Former President Barack Obama denied that his administration had any scandals that embarrassed him or his team.

It is unclear why Obama clarified that there were no scandals “that embarrassed us.”

“There were mistakes,” he admitted. “We’d screw up, but there wasn’t anything venal during eight years. I know that seems like a low bar, but you look at the presidency; that’s no small thing.”

Conservatives remember the Obama years differently, citing the Fast and Furious scandal, the IRS scandal, wiretapping journalists, the terror attacks in Benghazi, delivering pallets of cash to Iran, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server for government emails.

Obama’s speech at MIT was strictly off the record, but Reason acquired the audio.

The former president also insisted there was not much drama either, thanks to his leadership and organization skills.

“Typically speaking, you didn’t hear about a whole lot of drama inside our White House, and that was also rare,” he said.

But Obama failed to mention reports of his press secretary Robert Gibbs’s cursing at Valerie Jarrett and first lady Michelle Obama. Gibbs left the administration soon after.

Obama admitted there were arguments among his “team of rivals” in the White House but said it was more about people trying to solve tough issues.

“I did have a strong bias towards people who just wanted to get things right, get things done, as opposed to people who were obsessed with ‘I want to be right. I want to prominent. I want to have my name in the headlines,’” he said. “And if you can create that culture, then you are more likely to be successful.”

BREAKING: Georgia Senate Makes Decision On Delta Tax Deal After Airline Dropped NRA

On Monday, Georgia lawmakers killed a tax deal designed to benefit Delta Air Lines after the airline caved to pressure from radical left-wing gun control activists and ended their relationship with the NRA.

The move by Georgia’s State Senate came after Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle said on Monday that he would kill any tax benefit that Delta receives if they did not reverse their decision.

The Atlanta Constitution Journal reports:

It came after Delta desperately sought to find neutral ground in a gun debate that has very little, trying to soothe concerns among conservative lawmakers infuriated by the company’s decision to end discounted rates for NRA members in the wake of the mass shooting at a Florida high school.

That move forced Gov. Nathan Deal and other supporters of the $50 million jet fuel sales tax exemption to shift to the defensive, and prompted a growing number of Republicans to try to strip the provision out of a broader tax-cut bill that has already passed the state House.

“We Played for Them! It’s All for Them!” Marjory Stoneman Douglas Hockey Team Wins State 2 Weeks After Mass Shooting (VIDEO)

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High’s hockey team won the state championship this weekend in Florida after starting out the tournament as the bottom seed.

The team almost decided to skip the tournament after the horrific shooting two weeks ago but

Stoneman Douglas senior Joey Zenobi told reporters, “”No one was lacking energy in the locker room. We all came to play. We were all ready. This wasn’t for us. This was for the 17 victims. We played for them. So passionate, so emotional. It’s all for them.”

Steve Scalise Defiantly Defends 2nd Amendment, Attacks Lawmakers

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise knows firsthand what can happen when a firearm ends up in evil hands. After a crazed gunman decided to take out his leftist-rage on unsuspecting congressman in June last year, Scalise nearly lost his life.

Reportedly angry with President Donald Trump and Republicans in general, 66-year-old James Hodgkinson exacted his revenge on innocent Republican congressman, opening fire while the group practiced for the Congressional Baseball Game in Alexandria, Virginia, Chicago Tribune reported.

After Congressman Scalise was shot in the hip, the bullet “broke bones, tore up internal organs and cause(d) major internal bleeding,” and left him in critical condition, The New York Times reported. After months of recovery and several surgeries, Scalise returned to his position on Capitol Hill in September.

So has Scalise wavered on Americans’ Second Amendment right since his traumatic ordeal? Hardly.

In the wake of the shooting in Parkland, Florida, Scalise revealed his unfaltering position on the issue during an interview with Fox News.

Thanks For Subscribing!

Rather than wrongly target the NRA and law-abiding American gun owners as so many other politicians have done, Scalise called on his fellow lawmakers to focus on problems in mental health care and pointed out the failures in local, state and federal law enforcement that must be rectified.

“(W)e’ve seen so many breakdowns in different levels of government — federal, of course, with the FBI completely dropping the ball months ago when they had this kid handed to them on a silver platter,” Scalise told Fox News Channel’s Brian Kilmeade.

“At the local level, we’re finding out more and more disturbing information about the local sheriff’s deputies, at least one, maybe more that were on site, armed to protect those kids who stayed outside instead of going in and confronting the shooter.”

Scalise also knows better than most how guns in the hands of capable, trained men and women can be life-saving.

Do you agree with Steve Scalise?

Capitol Hill police who were at the baseball field on that day fateful day in Virginia willingly risked their lives to confront Hodgkinson, saving Scalise and many others.

“The fact that you had two armed police officers there who confronted the shooter immediately, saved not only my life but all the other members of Congress at that ball field,” Scalise recalled.

“Let’s focus more on addressing these problems in mental health that we’ve started to deal with in Congress,” Scalise concluded. “Let’s close loopholes, let’s figure out what went wrong with government before people start talking about taking away the rights of law-abiding citizens.”

We need more leaders like Scalise who won’t allow the left to gloss over the clear-as-day failures in government that could have prevented atrocities like the Parkland shooting, and others.

Only three months ago, members of a Texas church were massacred after a clerical error by the government allowed the shooter to buy guns even though he should have been barred from purchasing them. And who stopped that murderer? Stephen Willeford — an NRA member with an AR-15.

What we’re seeing here — in the attack on the NRA and law-abiding gun owners — is right out of the left’s playbook — to “never let a crisis go to waste.” Like Scalise, we must counter that narrative with the facts — that trained, qualified gun owners are the best protection we have from the threats of those who would do evil.

Share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know your thoughts on Rep. Steve Scalise’s refusal to budge from his support of the Second Amendment.

Georgia Lt. Gov. fires back at Delta for stand against NRA – and it’ll cost them millions

Georgia’s Lieutenant Governor slammed Delta Airlines Monday for joining the campaign against the National Rifle Association, and said he would back an effort to cut the state’s tax cuts to the company.

Here’s what he said

Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle tweeted about Delta on his official social media account Monday.

“I will kill any tax legislation that benefits [Delta] unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with [the NRA,]” he tweeted.

“Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back,” he added.

Delta ended its partnership with the NRA that gave its members a discount on airfare after the shooting in Parkland, Florida. A campaign for stricter gun control centered on countering the NRA, and some on the left even blamed the gun rights organization for the massacre.

Delta released a statement defending its decision, but framed it as a repositioning to the center, not a rejection of the NRA.

“Delta’s decision reflects the airline’s neutral status in the current national debate over gun control amid recent school shootings,” the statement read. “Out of respect for our customers and employees on both sides, Delta has taken this action to refrain from entering this debate and focus on its business.”

“Delta continues to support the 2nd Amendment,” they added.

A fight for values

“I’m tired of conservatives being kicked around on our values,” said Cagle to reporters on Monday. “It’s time we stand up and fight and show corporations that conservative values are important, not just to Georgia but to the entire nation.”

“We can fight for jobs,” he added, “but we can also fight for values.”

Conservative commentator Erick Erickson explained, “if anything, Delta’s actions against the @NRA have struck a blow against crony capitalism in Georgia.”
