DNC Underboss Keith Ellison Continues to Dodge Questions on Farrakhan

Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison has risen to the top of the Democratic party’s progressive wing thanks to his cunning use of identity politics and embrace of the communism-lite ideology of mentor Bernie Sanders.

He has also been haunted by his affiliations with hatemongering black separatist and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. The virulently anti-Semitic Farrakhan has his claws into a number of members of the Congressional Black Caucus as two bombshell reports published by the Wall Street Journal have made clear.

The latest is that Rep. Ellison and two of his fellow CBC members had a meeting with Farrakhan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in 2013 while the Obama regime was working on a deal over Iran’s nuclear capabilities. It was a damning story for Ellison who has been dogged by questions on his relationship with one of the most controversial figures in America.

Some Democrats like mega-donor Hollywood mogul Haim Saban didn’t mince words when he came out and accused Ellison of being an anti-Semite during his run to head up the DNC. The Minnesota Muslim was beaten back by the establishment Tom Perez but as a sop to Sanders and his activist admirers, he was offered the job of deputy chair which he graciously accepted.

But some sleeping dogs won’t be allowed to simply lie and a defensive Ellison responded to the WSJ column “Keith Ellison, Louis Farrakhan and Iran” with more denials about the nature of his relationship with Farrakhan.

Via the Minneapolis Star-Tribune “Ellison again faces questions about Louis Farrakhan relationship”:

He says Nation of Islam leader’s presence at 2013 dinner was incidental.

“As part of the 2013 U.N. General Assembly, and as negotiations were underway for what would become the Iran deal, I attended a meeting with President Rouhani and nearly 50 American Muslim leaders. This was not a private dinner, I didn’t know in advance who else would be there, and my decision to attend was not an endorsement of the political views of other attendees,” Ellison said in a statement this week.

“I attended the meeting to advocate for a peaceful resolution to the Iranian nuclear issue and to press President Rouhani face-to-face for the release of former U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati, who was illegally detained and tortured by the Iranian regime. As always, I disavow anti-Semitism and bigotry in all of its forms,” he said.

As a law student at the University of Minnesota in the 1980s, Ellison defended Farrakhan on the Op-Ed page of the Minnesota Daily. He helped organize buses from the Twin Cities for Farrakhan’s “Million Man March” in 1995.

Farrakhan has frequently embraced the criticism that he is an anti-Semite. He once said “the satanic Jews that control everything and mostly everybody — if they are your enemy — then you must be somebody.”

During Ellison’s failed race to be chairman of the Democratic National Committee, he repudiated Farrakhan, as he has since his 2006 race for Congress.

But Farrakhan said in a December 2016 Facebook post that Ellison and U.S. Rep. André Carson of Indiana visited his hotel suite during a trip to Washington.

Asked about Farrakhan’s claim, Ellison spokesman Karthik Ganapathy released a statement criticizing the media without addressing the meeting Farrakhan says happened in his hotel suite.

“Rep. Ellison has advocated a pluralistic, peaceful and broadly prosperous vision for our nation’s future his entire career, and the idea that matters less than whether or not he was once upon a time standing near somebody is an insane symptom of how our country’s political media coverage is so broken,” he said. “Rep. Ellison knows Minnesotans understand that standing in a room doesn’t mean you endorse every view of everyone else in that room, and wishes the space being used to print this story was instead spent calling more attention to the scourge of white nationalist gun violence, or the deportation threat facing hundreds of thousands of young immigrants across our country.”

Despite the lack of scrutiny by a friendly newspaper in one of America’s most left-wing cities outside of California, the questions about Ellison and Farrakhan remain and the explanation about an “incidental” meeting that just happened to include the president of Iran doesn’t pass the smell test.

Despite Ellison’s spinmeisters, Americans deserve to have their questions answered as to why one of the leading voices of the Democratic party continues to duck questions as to his friendship/apprenticeship to one of the biggest hate mongers in the nation.

Leftist Lawyer Spreads Epic Lie About Guns And Voting. Internet Swats Her Down.

On Monday, a St.Louis, Missouri leftist lawyer who describes herself as “America’s go-to expert, host, author and commentator on compelling legal, political, women’s, children’s and celebrity issues,” and has appeared on various networks, including CNN and ABC News, decided to tweet a massive lie comparing the need for an I.D. to vote with the need for an I.D. to buy a gun.

Areva Martin had already attacked the GOP in the wake of the Florida school shooting, tweeting this last Friday:

But on Monday, she ratcheted up her rhetoric to a new zenith with this tweet:

Martin’s perch on top of her sky-high soapbox was briefer than a Michael Moore diet, as she was walloped with facts from people all across the country:

Democrats Move To Ban Adults From Buying Long Guns

You knew this was coming. After 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz murdered 17 former classmates with a legally purchased AR-15, I started to notice that all liberal were harping on the idea that he could buy a long gun but not a beer. They way liberals operate is they flood the media with propaganda to soften up the population to their whacko agenda and then spring their knee-jerk do-nothing legislation. Like clockwork, democrats are now demanding that the age to purchase a rifle be raised to 21.

Last Friday gun-hating leftists like MSNBC’s Chris Hayes and British douchebag Pier Morgan were reading off of the official democratic party memo when they all bitched that a 19-year-old can buy a “weapon of war” but not a Coors Light. With their complicit media minions having laid the groundwork, democratic lawmakers want to turn the fake groundswell of support into direct action against American civil rights.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, who never met a gun she didn’t want to ban, came in with this tweet:

“I plan to introduce a bill to require ALL firearms purchases from gun dealers be restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years old. If you can’t buy a handgun or a bottle of beer, you shouldn’t be able to buy an AR-15,” wrote Feinstein.

Feinstein also plans on introducing a revamped version of her “assault weapons” ban, so I’m not sure how these two things would work together. Actually this is consistent with redundant liberal lunacy. When it’s all said and done Feinstein will have 10 different ways to stop Americans from owning semi-automatic rifles that she thinks look scary.

Then over in the House we have “dumbest guy in Congress” Rep. Ted Lieu saying the exact same thing, though in a significantly less intelligent way:

“It makes no sense that someone can purchase assault rifles but not handguns. It also makes no sense that the shooter could not have purchased a beer legally but could still have purchased all of these assault rifles, and that’s why we need to have gun reform,” said Lieu.

Amazingly enough, Lieu almost said something that wasn’t stupid. It really doesn’t make sense that someone can buy a rifle, but not a handgun or a beer. When a person turns 18 and becomes an adult in the eyes of the law, that person should be treated like an adult and allowed all the perks and responsibilities that come with it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t what Lieu was going for, he thinks adults should be treated like children, which is a hallmark of the Democratic Party.

As you can see, liberals all have the exact same talking point: people who can’t buy beer shouldn’t be allowed to buy AR-15’s either. This is not a coincidence. These numbnuts didn’t come up with this independently; they were instructed to push this on the public.

When I first noticed this phenomenon a few days ago, I wrote:

Now that I think about it, I’m not sure these liberals are pushing for a lower drinking age. More than likely they want to see the age for buying a long gun raised to 21…In any case, you can guarantee that the democrats are gearing up for some legislation that will further restrict law-abiding Americans’ right to keep an bear arms. They sent their minions out with the propaganda and soon Senator Chris Murphy or some other asshole democrat will introduce a bill to raise the purchase age for long guns.

The only thing I got wrong was the name of the asshole.

John Kasich still thinks he’s a 2020 thing, so he demands more gun control – ban the ‘god-darned Ar-15!’

John Kasich still thinks he's a 2020 thing, so he demands more gun control - ban the 'god-darned Ar-15!'
Last week we heard the rumblings. John Kasich, the Governor who won’t go away, the man whose father was a mailman, was thinking about the many ways in which he could easily become President in 2020. Last year, he was ruling it out but now, thanks to what he calls dysfunction in the Trump White House, Kasich’s language has softened. It’s possible, however ridiculous, that he might be planning to primary Trump as a Republican, or abandon the party and run as an independent.

Lindsey Vonn Ripped Online After Failing to Medal in Super-G, ‘Karma’ for Past Anti-Trump Comments

Lindsey Vonn Ripped Online After Failing to Medal in Super-G, ‘Karma’ for Past Anti-Trump Comments

Lindsey Vonn made headlines months ago, when she said that she would not travel to the White House to celebrate her victories after the Winter Olympics. Now that Vonn has suffered a major setback by failing to medal in the Super-G, the internet is not letting the skier forget her past statements.

In a December 7th interview with CNN, Vonn stated that she would not go to the White House to celebrate the Olympics. Moreover, Vonn said that she did not represent Trump. Instead, the skier claimed that she represented the “people of the United States.”

“I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president. I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony.

“I want to represent our country well. I don’t think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that,” Vonn told CNN.

When asked if she would accept an invitation to meet with Trump at the White House, Vonn did not hold back.

“Absolutely not. Nope. But I have to win to be invited. No, actually, I think every US team member is invited, so no, I won’t go,” she said. In the same interview, Vonn said the rest of the world no longer viewed America as a country of hope.

However, after failing to medal in the Super-G event on Saturday, Vonn faced a wave of social media criticism from those who felt it was “karma,” that she had lost. The Daily Mail compiled a list of comments directed at Vonn.

“Lindsey Vonn is the latest to suffer from ‘Trump Effect’. Should keep your mouth shut and race. Don’t insult us,’ said one Trump supporter.

“Karma is a mo fo. Glad to see you lose. You’re an anti-American,’ said another.

“Karma will always bite you… that’s what you get for trying to get political when you should have just focused on the Olympics.

‘Tisk tisk, but hey, now you don’t have to worry about not going to the White House! Only winners go to the White House!”

According to the Daily Mail, Vonn brushed off the criticisms when she returned to the slopes on Sunday.

‘That is what bullies want you to do. They want to defeat you and I am not defeated, I am the same. I stand by my values and I am not going to back down. I may not be as vocal right now with my opinions but that doesn’t mean they have won. I haven’t changed my mind.”

Vonn attempted to put out the political firestorm she started, shortly after making her comments about President Trump. In December, Vonn took to Instagram to say that the Olympics are not a forum for politics.

As I head to France for the next races, I would like to share with you my reflections from the past few days. I’ve received a tremendous amount of feedback, both positive and negative, about my recent CNN interview. The point that I was trying to articulate is that all Olympic athletes represent their nation as a whole, and are not representatives of their government or any specific political figure or party. None of us work tirelessly for years on end to compete in the Olympics on behalf of Democrats or Republicans. The Olympics are a non-political event, a chance for everyone to put aside their differences and be on the same “team.”. That does not mean that Olympic athletes don’t have political opinions. As an American, I am extremely proud that our great nation was founded on principals and ideals where citizens can express our opinions openly. It is a privilege that some others around the world don’t have. I am proud to be an American, and I want our country to continue to be a symbol of hope, compassion, inclusion and world unity. My travels around the world have recently made clear that this is no longer how people view the United States. You cannot pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV in Europe without noticing how people are questioning our direction. It seems to me that we must lead with understanding and strive for unity in our relationships throughout the world. As for myself, my recent comments opened up my eyes as to how divided we are right now. It is hurtful to read comments where people are hoping I break my neck or that God is punishing me for being “anti-Trump.” We need to find a way to put aside our differences and find common ground in communicating. Is it wrong to hope for a better world? All of this is much bigger than skiing and the Olympics. I am going to take the next two months to focus on what I can do and right now that is competing for my country. In doing that, I will be hoping that we Americans can still be that “shining city on a hill.”

A post shared by L I N D S E Y • V O N N (@lindseyvonn) on

Despite her struggles on Saturday, Vonn still has a chance for success this week.

According to the Daily Mail:

Vonn is considered the person to beat in the downhill.

That’s long been her best event, the one in which she’s produced 42 of her women’s-record 81 World Cup race wins, including three in a row heading into the Olympics.

She also owns four downhill world championships medals, including a gold in 2009.

Vonn has looked in top form in training, clocking Sunday’s top time on the 1-mile course, before easing up and standing tall with arms spread at the finish on Monday.

‘She is definitely the favorite,’ said Italy’s Sofia Goggia, who was second in training Monday, behind only Austria’s Stephanie Venier, the runner-up at last year’s world championships.

There is more Alpine downhill training Tuesday.

The internet will be watching.

Hero Aaron Feis, the Disarmed School Guard

Aaron Feis was the right man in the right place at the right time, but he was legally prevented from using the right, constitutionally protected tool to do the job.  Mr. Feis was shot on Feb. 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, shielding students from a killer with his own body.  Ultimately, he and 16 other people, mainly students, died.  Mr. Feis was truly a remarkable and courageous man.

Most media reports have focused on his after-school job as a Stoneman Douglas High football coach (herehereherehere, and here) – but, on Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Feis was doing his day job as a school guard.  Mr. Feis was legally disarmed by the federal government in his attempt to save potentially dozens of children from murder.

It is necessary to consider this in light of the emotional trauma roiling the nation and the desperate calls “to do something.”  Your author agrees that something should be done.  It should also be a solution today that in practical terms could save lives tomorrow.

Aaron Feis, husband, father, school guard, and football coach, rushed toward the fire and, by all accounts, engaged the shooter Nikolas Cruz soon after Cruz started shooting.  The Sun-Sentinel reported that Feis “was one of the first to respond.”  When the “Code Red” went off, head football coach Willis May asked over the walkie-talkie whether the sounds were firecrackers.  Feis retorted: “Those aren’t firecrackers. I’m going in.

Broward County sheriff Scott Israel informed the public at his press conference on Feb. 14 that the suspect entered the east stairwell of the school in Building 12 on the first floor at 2:19 P.M.  At 2:21 P.M., Cruz began walking down the corridor and shot into four classrooms along the first floor before entering the west stairwell and walking up to the second floor.  He shot one victim on the second floor before taking the east stairwell to the third floor.

Per Sheriff Israel, Cruz then dropped his rifle and backpack and walked back down the stairs and exited the building.  It is not 100% clear exactly when and where Aaron Feis made contact with Nikolas Cruz, and we will not know for sure until the sheriff’s office releases more crime scene data, but we can make some reasonable inferences with the information available.

Broward County superintendent Robert Runcie is reported to have stated at a Feb. 15 press conference: “We had an athletic director, a campus monitor who responded immediately when there was signs of trouble in the school.”  Dave Hyde of the Sun-Sentinel wrote that “Athletic Director Chris Hixon and Aaron Feis died in the same hallway.”  Per the graphic in this Washington Post article, the four classrooms on the first floor in which Cruz shot people were all next to each other and close to the east stairwell.  Only one person was shot on the second floor.  This same article shows that Building 12 was adjacent to the school parking lot.  It is logical to believe that Feis was in the parking lot ready to direct traffic as school was about to let out.  As it has been reported that Feis died while shielding multiple students and only one victim was shot on the second floor, we can infer that Feis engaged the shooter on the first floor sometime soon after the shooting began.  Aaron Feis likely was in the right place at the right time to save lives.

So why was Aaron Feis disarmed?  Lisa Maxwell of the Broward County Principals and Assistants Association stated to the Sun-Sentinel:

“The only person trained and armed to fight back against an assailant at Stoneman Douglas is its one school resource officer, a Broward Sheriff’s deputy funded by the city of Parkland.  But Maxwell said she doesn’t think he was on campus when the shooting happened.

“I have been told by a couple of sources that the SRO was either called off campus responding to something happening or it could have been his day off,” she said.  “They are stretched very thin.'”

This raises the question of why only one person was trained and armed to fight back against an assailant.  One reason is that the “Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990,” originally passed as part of the Budget Control Act of 1990, bars school personnel from arming themselves.  18 USC § 922(q)(2)(A) states:

It shall be unlawful for any individual knowingly to possess a firearm that has moved in or that otherwise affects interstate or foreign commerce at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.

18 USC § 922(q)(3)(A) states:

Except as provided in subparagraph (B), it shall be unlawful for any person, knowingly or with reckless disregard for the safety of another, to discharge or attempt to discharge a firearm that has moved in or that otherwise affects interstate or foreign commerce at a place that the person knows is a school zone.

Supposedly, these laws are to protect us from ourselves while assuring us that the government will do its job.  And yet neighbors called the police dozens of times on Nikolas Cruz, and no one connected any dots.  To be fair, the family that took Cruz in after his mother died last fall apparently did not notice anything out of the ordinary (armchair psychiatrists beware).  The FBI, however, ignored two tips that Nikolas Cruz was an imminent threat.

Precisely in order to protect us against evil men and government incompetence and malfeasance, the following words were written in 1789 into the 2nd Amendment by men who had pledged their lives and honor in pursuit of life and liberty (author’s emphasis):

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

“Shall not be infringed” is an unequivocal command.  It is a travesty of justice that Mr. Feis’s constitutional right to protect himself and those innocent children was infringed.  Based on Coach May’s testimonial, Mr. Feis wittingly charged into the fray knowing that he would face powerful gunfire and that he was disarmed.

What would have happened if Aaron Feis had had a a Glock on his hip when the Code Red went off?  Two cases from the last several years serve as pertinent compare-contrast examples.

On May 3, 2015, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi attacked the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas where a free speech event was being held with about 150 people in attendance.  Simpson and Soofi were armed with three pistols and three semi-automatic assault rifles.  Despite being heavily outmatched in firepower, a single police officer working as a security guard at the event armed only with a .45-caliber Glock pistol shot and wounded the attackers and stopped the attack without any loss of life.  Contrast this to the attack on the Charlie Hebdo magazine office in Paris on January 7, 2015.  Heavily armed men attacked Charlie Hebdo where they shot and killed 11 people and wounded many others.  The first responder was a bicycle cop named Ahmed Merabet.  As with Aaron Feis, Merabet had been disarmed by his government, as France has some the strictest gun control laws in the world, much stricter than those now being emotionally advocated in the United States.  Merabet was shot and wounded and lay helpless to defend himself against his AK-47-wielding attackers, who then calmly walked over and shot him dead in the street.

If Aaron Feis had had a .45-caliber Glock in his hand and had been given the proper training he needed to do his job as school guard, I am convinced that he would have saved many lives after he bravely called out, “I’m going in.”  Rudyard Kipling once wrote: “Every so often, a few evil men must die so that weaponless dreamers may live in peace.”

The delusional left believes in the perfectibility of man, that inherent evil does not exist and that crime may be eliminated through social policy.  History since time immemorial proves, however, that evil men always have been and always will be among us.  So we must be prepared to protect ourselves and our loved ones against them.

Aaron Feis was ready, but he had been unconstitutionally disarmed.  How often must we watch innocent children die before we realize that the illusions of weaponless dreamers aid evil men?

EU video contest entry rejected for ‘too many’ white people, Christian crosses; not enough migrants

A European Union committee for the Capital of Culture contest rejected a video entry because it shows “too many white people,” Christian crosses, and not enough migrants, according to published reports.

The criticism was leveled at an entry submitted by the Hungarian city of Székesfehérvár. The short film shows people dancing in the streets, elderly men playing chess, churches, children playing, a happy couple, and other scenes.

A European cultural “expert” called it a “propaganda film for white Christian Europe; everyone is white, happy and dancing in the streets.”

The city received the comments as a strike against its Christian and Jewish communities.

How did the city respond?

In a press conference, the Mayor of Székesfehérvár, András Cser-Palkovics, congratulated the cities that were chosen to move forward in the contest.

But he also said the decision to exclude his city’s entry was purely political.

He also criticized the committee for saying, “They left the poor and the migrants out of the film, but at the same time, there were too many crosses, churches, and what was even worse, the attitude of the city, because they regarded this as a value.”

During the press conference, Cser-Palkovics made the following statement, which is translated from a Hungarian website. He said:

We love our city with our temples and our crosses. We love being safe, calm, and people can democratically confess their own values. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this project, and I would like to emphasize this: we have submitted unanimous support. As we have indicated before, we want to implement many points of the competition, whether we win or not. In the coming weeks and months, I would like to ask the General Assembly to look at what exactly can be done by our specialists and partners. I would like to bring the matter before the general assembly and inform all members of the board about the style and content of the hearing as well as about practically refusing to deny our own culture.

On YouTube, the video has received more than 7,000 views.

Which cities were chosen?

The committee recommended entries from Győr, Debrecen and Veszprém as finalists for the European Capital of Culture contest.

On its website, the European Capitals of Culture says its mission is to:

Highlight the richness and diversity of cultures in Europe.
Celebrate the cultural features Europeans share.
Increase European citizens’ sense of belonging to a common cultural area.

Video Resurfaces of Sheriff Serving Ultimate Dose of Reality About Media-Driven Mental Health Crisis After School Shooting

Video Resurfaces of Sheriff Serving Ultimate Dose of Reality About Media-Driven Mental Health Crisis After School Shooting

Footage is making the rounds on Twitter of a press conference featuring Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich serving up the ultimate dose of reality to reporters following the September 14th shooting at Freeman High School in Rockford, WA.

The Spokesman-Review reported:

Knezovich opened a news conference Thursday afternoon by offering his condolences to the Freeman community. He quickly shifted gears, however, pointing to a host of catalysts that he said were responsible for the violence.

“Where did we go sideways in raising our kids?” he said. “All of this violence they consume perhaps has caused a major crisis.”

Knezovich said guns haven’t changed over the years, and aren’t to blame in shootings. He said society is.

“You started glorifying cultures of violence. You glorified the gang culture,” he said. “You glorified games that are actually giving you points for raping and killing people. A gun did not change, we changed.”

Knezovich’s observations are particularly thought-provoking after alleged gunman Nikolas Cruz shot dead 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida this week.

Cruz is a poster child for the mental health crisis facing the U.S.

In a statement released Friday, FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed the bureau failed to escalate a tip it received on January 5th about Cruz.

On Jan. 5, a person close to Florida school shooting suspect contacted FBI tipline and provided info on the suspect’s “gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting,” said Wray.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Florida police were called to Cruz’s home more than 35 times.

At least one time police were called because Nikolas was fighting with his mother.

Just Like the NFL, Politicized Winter Olympics are Drawing Putrid Ratings

Ratings for this edition of the Winter Olympic games continue to plumb the depths as Americans who are fed up over the bastard union of sports and social justice politics are tuning out just as they did with the NFL all season culminating in the lowest-rated Super Bowl in years.

It used to be that the majesty of the games, tradition, and competition was a surefire hit for the big networks but that now appears to be a bygone era thanks to the idea that victimhood has now become the coin of the realm.

Thanks to an incredible display of the media treating the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un like she was the freaking queen of England and the endless parade of freaks and weirdos using their moment in the spotlight to make political statements against President Trump, NBC has yet another smoking dumpster fire on its hands.

Via Deadline Hollywood “Olympics Ratings Remain Low On Night Of Nathan Chen’s Historic Quad Display”:

A week into the PyeongChang Olympics and Team USA currently has nine medals, and for a moment it looked like Nathan Chen was poised to add to that collection last night in men’s figure skating.

Coming off an initially weaker than expected performance, the Salt Lake City native put some history on the ice at the XXIII Winter Games in NBC’s primetime as he pulled off a record five clean quadruple jumps and one more with a touch. In the end though, like the efforts of Lindsey Vonn in the women’s super-G ski event, it just wasn’t enough to make it the podium.

In an Olympics that is down almost 8% overall from the XXII Winter Games of 2014 and looking to be heading towards an overall low despite its multi-platform efforts, NBC may be feeling a bit like that coming off the first Friday of official competition of the 2018 Games.

With a 13.0/23 in metered market results for NBC and NBC Sports Network’s primetime coverage, the net matched its low for the PyeongChang games. The combo of the Comcast-owned outlets slipped to the same rating in early numbers on February 15.

One sliver of silver is that the NBC/NBCSN metered market meld did top the comparable night results of the Sochi games from 2014 by 11% but was still behind Vancouver 2010.

There will be the inevitable flurry of excuses for the poor ratings (Valentines Day, school shootings, different time zone etc.) but what the nets and their media apologists won’t dare to admit is that through their conscious choice to pick sides and preach liberal politics, their “sports” events are no longer escapism.

Another example of just how piss poor that it has become is the childish display of poor sportsmanship from the U.S. men’s hockey team after they were blown out by Russia 4-0. The flaming leftist coaches who probably believe that Putin put Trump into the White House refused to engage in the traditional handshake following the game. How pathetic is that?

Granted that the National Hockey League decided to not allow its players to participate – therefore weakening Team USA – but this sort of behavior is an embarrassment to America in front of the rest of the world who must be shaking their heads at the collective mental breakdown triggered by Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And here are some other wonderful examples of why the ratings suck and won’t be improving:

There was a day not that long ago when the Olympics were a time for patriotism and unity which doesn’t seem will ever be the case again. America is divided as never before and to tell you the sad truth, a lot of people like it that way.

It would probably be a pretty damn safe bet to think that ratings for the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo will have even lower ratings, especially since it will be an election year and it will practically be a requirement to be a flaming leftist SJW to even get onto the U.S. team by then.

Director Michael Moore Was Russian Pawn In Anti-Trump Protest At Trump Tower (VIDEO)

Director Michael Moore Was Russian Pawn In Anti-Trump Protest At Trump Tower (VIDEO)

On Friday, the office of special counsel Robert Mueller announced that a grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals, along with 3 Russian entities, accused of “supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump … and disparaging Hillary Clinton.” Investigators also found the Russians organized rallies against Trump in New York City and Charlotte.

According to court documents, “At the same time, Defendants and their co-conspirators, through another ORGANIZATION-controlled group, organized a rally in New York City called “Trump is NOT my President” held on or about November 12, 2016. Similarly, Defendants and their co-conspirators organized a rally entitles “Charlotte Against Trump” in Charlotte, North Carolina, held on or about November 19, 2016.”

See footage below of New York City event on November 12, 2016.

Here is NBC‘s report on the New York City event:

“Not My President’s Day” rallies were staged in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia and more than two dozen other cities across the nation in a spirited display of defiance against a president who has been in power for just one month.

In Trump’s hometown, a huge throng rallied outside the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan, with the crowd blanketing the southwestern corner of Central Park and singing “We Shall Overcome.”

Many carried signs that read “Not My President” and “Resist” and chanted “No Ban, No Wall” — a reference to Trump’s executive order on travel by immigrants and his still-unbuilt wall along the Mexican border.

Progressive director Michael Moore appears to have been used unwittingly to bring attention to a Russian-led protest against the President-elect. Moore actively participated and promoted the New York City protest organized by the Russians.

Moore live broadcasted the protest on his personal Facebook page.

“I’m in the middle of thousands -tens of thousands?- of American voters outside Trump Tower demanding he step aside. He got the least votes,” tweeted Moore.

Earlier in the day, the director attempted to meet with Trump.

As reporter Michael Finnegan pointed out, Moore had “no luck,” meeting with the President-elect.

Moore, a vocal critic of Trump, has long claimed the candidate Trump conspired with Putin to become president.
