Left-wing Hollywood actors-turned activists Rosie O’Donnell, Debra Messing, and Mark Hamill are among the celebrities pushing an effort to raise money for Democrat congressional candidates in Wisconsin.

Coyote Ugly and Angel Has Fallen star Piper Perabo promoted the event put on for No Democrat Left Behind, an organization attempting to bolster Democrat congressional candidates in rural areas in the red-trending state of Wisconsin. Perabo announced her inclusion in the all-star leftist lineup on Twitter telling fans that she was “so excited” to be a part of the effort. “Rural communities are an important part of America. We’re in this together,” Perabo said.

Perabo will be accompanied by stars including Star Wars icon Mark Hamill, Will & Grace star Debra Messing, former left-wing talk show host Rosie O’Donell, actress Kristen Johnston, and others. Some of the celebrity event backers took to Twitter to promote the event.

Perabo and her compatriots with No Democrat Left Behind are not the only Hollywooders dropping into Wisconsin to push Democrat candidates. The cast of the 20-year-old left-wing political drama, The West Wing, also announced their efforts in Wisconsin.

In an August 16 message to his Twitter followers, West Wing star Bradley Whitford described raising money to depose President Trump as something “near and dear” to his heart. “Hey everybody, Brad Whitford here, I am thrilled to invite you to a West Wing Weekly event, supporting a cause near and dear to my heart, the Wisconsin Democratic Party,” Whitford said in his video. “We’re going to be focusing on all things Donna and Josh, because of course, Donna comes from Wisconsin and so does the guy who plays Josh.”

Leftist singer-songwriter Fiona Apple ramped up her left-wing activism by narrating a short film about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency that urges people to film ICE agents while they make arrests.

“If the agents tell you to stop filming, you can tell them: ‘I am exercising my right to document this arrest,’” she explains. “Always keep your camera focused on law enforcement, not the person being arrested or their family members.”

The video was produced in partnership with pro-immigration groups, including We Have Rights, Brooklyn Defender Services, and WITNESS. In the film, Apple is heard explaining that concerned citizens maintain the right to document the arrest of illegal immigrants.

Apple also gave an interview with Vulture where she discusses ICE, mail-in voting, and Kanye West’s presidential ambitions.

“ICE agents are fucking scary. I think so many people want to help and they don’t know how. They feel like they have no way of helping. But if you’ve got eyes, ears, a notepad, and a pencil, you can help,” She told the magazine. “I can’t believe this is happening. There’s so many awful things going on in this country. You read about places like Belarus and they’re like, ‘They teargassed the crowd and arrested people and disappeared people.’ But that’s the same shit that’s happening here now. It’s going to hell.”

Apple also revealed how the video makers struggled to find a voice for the Spanish version of the video after Jennifer Lopez showed no interest in the project. Last year, Lopez danced in the music video of Apple’s song “Criminal,” from which royalties were donated to the While They Wait fund, which provides legal services to illegal immigrants.

“We couldn’t find a Spanish speaker for a while,” Apple said. “We recorded it, and I tried to reach out to Jennifer Lopez to do it, but we didn’t hear back.”

The 42-year-old singer also weighed in on the issues surrounding this year’s presidential election, claiming Republicans were “taking advantage” of rap superstar Kanye West.

“I’m really scared about this mail thing. That’s fucking nuts to me. Taking mailboxes?! I’m scared about that,” she said. “I’m scared and appalled at the Republican lawyer trying to help out Kanye. That’s low. I really hate them for how they’re treating him, you know? And how they’re taking advantage of him to try and stay in power. They’re not helping him.”

Apple made headlines around the world in December 2016 when she publicly performed her anti-Trump Christmas song “Trump’s Nuts Roasting On an Open Fire.”

The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections confirmed that the ballot return envelopes in a viral video that appear to identify party affiliation of the voter are valid. Although, it claims different envelopes — which do not identify the party of the voter — are used in the general election.

A video posted by a woman named Tina Brown went viral this week, featuring Brown examining two ballot return envelopes — one which belonged to her Democrat brother and the other which belonged to her, a Republican. The envelopes, she observed, actually revealed their party affiliations. A “D” appeared within a series of numbers near the bar code of her brother’s return envelope, and an “R” appeared in the series of numbers on hers.

“I just want to warn all the people who want to vote by mail — you know how they give you these sleeves inside, you know, and they tell you, ‘Oh don’t worry. Your vote is going to be, you know, protected. Nobody’s going to know anything. Blah Blah blah.’ Well guess what? That’s bullshit,” she said.

“Look at my brother’s, who’s a Democrat. It says 4212D. That’s Democrat. Then you go here because we’re the same address anyway — 4212R,” she continued, pointing to her envelope.

She added:

OK. So your vote is supposed to be protected. Nobody’s supposed to know what you’re voting for but yet they put ‘R’ right here and ‘D’ right there. So a postal person could see this if they’re a Democrat and say, “Oh that’s an R. Let’s toss it. Let’s just chuck it, and we’ll keep this one.”

While the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections confirmed the ballot return envelopes and their open party identification, it said the labels would not be there for general election ballot envelopes.

“Concerns have been raised by certain voters that having the party on the envelope leads to a possibility of postal employees tampering with or not delivering mail of voters of a particular party,” Palm Beach County’s Supervisor of Elections said in a statement following the video going viral:

It would be a federal crime for any post office employee to tamper with this process. We have received no such reports of anything like this happening Florida is a “Closed Primary” state, meaning voters can only vote for members of their party in a partisan race in the primary election. Because of this, voters are mailed ballots according to their party affiliation. For the General Election in November, voters can vote for candidates of any party, so there is only one ballot style in each precinct. Accordingly, there will be no indication on the ballot envelope as to the party of the voter.

Despite the statement, little has been done to address the concern of voters worried about the potential of voter fraud in the primary elections, given the nature of the primary return envelopes.

Critics have continued to sound the alarm on the danger of universal vote-by-mail, including President Trump.

BLEXIT founder Candace Owens will sue Facebook over its “blatant censorship” after the social media platform demonetized her page following her comments about senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) swearing into congress in 2017 as an “Indian-American.”

Candace Owens said that Facebook has suppressed her page after she commented her thoughts on senator Harris being chosen as Democrat nominee Joe Biden’s vice president for the upcoming November election.

“I am SO EXCITED that we get to watch [Kamala Harris], who swore into congress as an ‘Indian-American’, now play the ‘I’m a black a woman’ card all the way until November,” said Owens upon hearing the news. “Fun times!”

In her post, Owens included an Associated Press image from January 3, 2017, when Harris was sworn in as a senator. The Facebook post was later labeled as exhibiting “false information,” which was “checked by independent fact-checkers.”

According to “AP’s assessment,” in interviews, Harris “has regularly talked about how her mother, who was from India, raised her as Black.” The so-called “fact-checkers” now claim that “social media users are falsely suggesting that Harris only recently began identifying as Black.”

“I never said that Kamala never said she was black. I said she swore into Congress as Indian-American, which is true,” Owens told Breitbart News in a phone interview.

“It’s also my opinion that I’m looking forward to watching Kamala Harris, who swore into congress as an Indian-American now play the ‘I’m a black woman’ card,” continued Owens. “Fact checkers can’t tell me what I’m looking forward to. That is the blatant censoring of an opinion.”

The BLEXIT founder added that she will be suing Facebook over its censorship.

“Facebook is now hiding behind fact checkers to censor people,” she Owens. “They say it’s third party, but these people obviously have to be in coordination with Facebook.”

“This is election interference,” she added.

Last year, Owens was suspended on Facebook after posting about “liberal supremacists” and statistics regarding poverty rates in fatherless homes. Facebook later restored Owens’ account, claiming it had “made a mistake.”

Regarding her latest experience with Facebook censorship, Owens mentioned that Lead Stories,which was co-founded and by Alan Duke, a former CNN employee, has recently become a fact-checker for the social media giant.

“It’s a brand new company, and now it’s ‘fact checking’ for Facebook,” said Owens. “So we’re looking forward to having them through discovery.”

Owens also explained that she has been able to get “false information” ratings removed from her Facebook page, but that the process requires a lawyer for each instance of censorship.

“Every time you get ‘fact checked’ and censored, you have to get a lawyer to fight each instance,” Owens explained to Breitbart News. “Lead Stories eventually removed a false rating they gave me, but you have to go through a lawyer every time — and it’s costly.”

“All they [fact checkers] have to do is find one opposite opinion, and they can give you a false rating,” she added. “You have to send a legal letter every time to get it reversed.”

Owens added that she will be setting up a legal fund in order to cover the cost of taking on Facebook with her impending lawsuit.

“The censorship issue is real and we haven’t done enough to fight it as conservatives,” she said.
