The children of illegal immigrants are “more American than most Americans,” according to Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden.
“These kids have come, they’ve done well, most of these kids — there’s a lot of them, and they’re not just Hispanic, they’re Asian-Pacific Islanders as well, and they in fact have done very, very well,” Biden said.
“In many cases, they’re more American than most Americans are because they have done well in school,” he said.
“They believe the basic principles that we all share. I think they should be, in fact, put on a path to citizenship,” Biden added.

A 2018 study from the National Bureau of Economic Research claimed DACA led to a 2.2 percentage point increase in school attendance of Hispanic immigrants between the ages of 14 and 18.
However, a November 2019 report from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said that in 10.38 percent of 765,166 approved DACA cases, the recipient has an arrest record.

It also noted that 38.71 percent of individuals whose application to become a DACA recipient was denied have an arrest on their record.
Biden’s campaign emphasizes his support for DACA, which former President Barack Obama created via executive order.
“As Vice President, Biden championed the creation and expansion of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program; the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) program; the Central American Minors program, which allowed parents with legal status in the U.S. to apply to bring their children up from Central America to live with them; and the creation of a White House task force to support new Americans and help them integrate into their new homes and communities,” his campaign website says.
The DAPA program was ended under the Trump administration.
President Donald Trump announced in 2017 he was terminating DACA, though the issue is now in the courts.
“The Trump Administration made the cruel and counterproductive decision to terminate DACA, throwing into turmoil the lives of millions of Dreamers. Dreamers and their parents should have a roadmap to citizenship through legislative immigration reform,” Biden’s website says.
“But in the meantime, Biden will remove the uncertainty for Dreamers by reinstating the DACA program, and he will explore all legal options to protect their families from inhumane separation.”
“Biden will also ensure Dreamers are eligible for federal student aid (loans, Pell grants) and are included in his proposals to provide access to community college without debt and invest in HBCU/Hispanic Serving Institution/Minority Serving Institutions, which will help Dreamers contribute even more to our economy.”

Bernie Sanders, whose appeal seemingly rests on his appealing to his audience’s sense of victimhood, made statements when he was launching his burgeoning political career that stretched the bounds of credulity, including recently unearthed comments in which he compared workers in his home state of Vermont to black slaves.
As The Daily Beast reports, in 1976 Sanders “told a local newspaper that the sale of a privately held mining company by its founders harkened back to ‘the days of slavery, when black people were sold to different owners without their consent,’ and compared the service economy to chattel slavery.” That comment was made in response to the announced sale of the Vermont Marble Company to a Swiss conglomerate. Sanders ranted:
We believe ultimately that companies like Vermont Marble should be owned by the workers themselves and that workers—not a handful of owners—should be determining policy. If a worker at Vermont Marble has no say about who owns the company he works for and that major changes can take place without his knowledge and consent, how far have we really advanced from the days of slavery, when black people were sold to different owners without their consent?
In a 1977 interview, conducted on Labor Day, Sanders reiterated, “Basically, today, Vermont workers remain slaves in many, many ways. The problem comes when we end up with an entire state of people trained to wait on other people.” He added, “How can a worker be happy with his or her job when he or she has no control over that job? The problem comes when we end up with an entire state of people trained to wait on other people … In the long run, what we are talking about is a peaceful revolution.”
Those comments were made when Sanders was the chairman of the Liberty Union Party, but still had not gained political office, having assayed unsuccessful four candidacies, including running for the U.S. Senate in 1972 and Vermont governor in 1976.
Sanders needs votes from the black constituency of the Democratic Party if he is to win the presidential nomination; The Daily Beast points out regarding Sanders’ 2016 candidacy, “In South Carolina, where black voters account for two-thirds of the Democratic primary electorate, Clinton defeated Sanders by nearly 50 percent, winning African-American voters by a 72-point margin,” adding, “Current polling indicates that Sanders’ support among black voters is healthier than it once was, particularly among those under 50, but he still trails former Vice President Joe Biden by more than 20 points.
In early January, Jason Riley noted in The Wall Street Journal, “Mr. Sanders’s biggest weakness remains his lack of support among older blacks, who are most likely to cast a ballot in the primaries. Yet these voters continue to tell pollsters that their chief concern is electability, and a few early wins by Mr. Sanders might go a long way toward convincing them that he can prevail in November.”
During an appearance on Fox News Channel on Thursday, nationally syndicated radio talker Mark Levin criticized the merits of the impeachment case brought by the House managers for their inability to precisely define President Donald Trump’s wrongdoing.
Levin took issue with the claims of “abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress,” and warned the House of Representatives was attempting to breach the Constitution’s separation of powers.
“Let me just say this, America — these Democrats have destroyed the Constitution, the impeachment clause, they’re trying to destroy separation of powers,” he said. “They’re trying to choose the Republican nominee for president in 2020. They’re trying to take over the Senate. That’s what’s going on. The Senate has a responsibility to protect the American people from the House, from the Democrats. That’s their constitutional responsibility.”
“This president hasn’t violated the Constitution, not once,” Levin continued. “He hasn’t violated any federal statute, not once. He’s complied with every federal court order, every one. He’s not committed treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. But the pornographers over there in the House — abuse of power, obstruction of Congress, they’re the ones. Maybe they ought to be expelled. Maybe we ought to start thinking about that. That’s it.”
DOJ Concludes FBI Surveillance of Trump Campaign Adviser Lacked Evidence Require by Law

A recently declassified document reveals the Justice Department has admitted two warrants approving surveillance of a former Trump campaign adviser were not valid.
The disclosure was made by James Boasberg, the top judge on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, in a recently declassified FISC order.
“[T]he Court has received notice of material misstatements and omissions in the applications filed by the government in the above-captioned dockets,” the order from Boasberg read, listing four warrants that allowed surveillance on Carter Page in 2016 and 2017.
The surveillance on Page came as part of the FBI’s efforts to find collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The FBI investigation was the first step of the multiple probes that eventually morphed into the investigation of former special counsel Robert Mueller.
The order said the “DOJ assesses that with respect to the applications in Docket Numbers 17-375 and 17-679, ‘if not earlier, there was insufficient predication to establish probable cause to believe that [Carter] Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power.’”
The numbers are for the final two in the series of four Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act applications for warrants. Both warrants were obtained in 2017.
“The Court understands the government to have concluded, in view of the material misstatements and omissions, that the Court’s authorizations in Docket Numbers 17-375 and 17- 679 were not valid,” the order read.

“The government apparently does not take a position on the validity of the authorizations in Docket Numbers 16-1182 and 17-52, but intends to sequester information acquired pursuant to those dockets in the same manner as information acquired pursuant to the subsequent dockets.”
The order requires that the Justice Department tell the court how it plans to handle information collected from and about Page.
In a blockbuster ruling, the FISA court declared that least two of the four Carter Page spy warrants were illegal, meaning ANY evidence collected from that surveillance is now invalid.

Although Inspector General Michael Horowitz said the FBI was not wrong to open its investigation, he criticized the bureau for not adhering to proper protocol in multiple instances.
Attorney General William Barr has said he disagrees with the Horowitz report, because he does not believe there were grounds for opening the investigation.
John Durham, a U.S. Attorney based in Connecticut, is also investigating the opening of the FBI probe.
Meanwhile, House Oversight Committee Republicans are taking the FISC to task over its handling of the FBI’s surveillance of Page.
Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Mark Meadows of North Carolina have written to Boasberg demanding to be told whether the court “bears any responsibility for the FBI’s illegal surveillance of Carter Page.”
The letter also demands to know what “disciplinary action” the FISC will take against attorneys who deceived the court, and also when the court first learned of deficiencies in the Page applications.
Jordan and Meadows want to know if the court has “conducted any internal review to examine the accuracy or validity of information contained in the FBI’s surveillance applications for Carter Page.”
Further, the GOP lawmakers seek to have the FISC tell them “what specific steps the FISC will take to better protect the civil liberties of American citizens who are not represented in ex parte proceedings for electronic surveillance.”
The phrase “ex parte” refers to legal proceedings where one party is not present.

Most parents long to give their children the world, and anytime there’s a crunch they’ll make sacrifices to make sure their child gets priority. When that comes to time constraints, it’s a decision mostly up to the parents.
When there are financial constraints, the decisions get a little more difficult. Many families struggle to acquire necessities, let alone non-essentials, and sometimes when it comes down to it, they could use a little extra help.
Mayra Vasquez-Ruiz of Imperial Beach, California, wanted to celebrate her son Abel’s 4th birthday, but she didn’t have what she needed. Her son, who has Down syndrome, loves “Toy Story,” so she wanted to give him something with that theme.
“As a mom of four, it’s hard,” she told KFMB-TV. “I want to give my kids everything I can.”
Turning to a local Facebook group for help, she was shocked when offers started pouring in — and went way above her initial ask of cake mix and Toy-Story-themed party decorations.
“As soon as someone posted, ‘Oh yeah, I have cake mix,’ I was excited, I was like ‘Yes, I have him a cake,’” she said.
Soon, multiple people offered baked goods, help decorating and even to bring gifts for the 4-year-old. Someone even said they’d bring a pony to the event for pony rides.
“Late at night when it just hit me I’m like, ‘Oh my god, he’s not getting just a small cake he is getting a birthday party,’” Vasquez-Ruiz said.
Vasquez-Ruiz’s mom, who hosted the party, was just as stunned. “I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I kept asking her, are you sure, are you sure?”
The offers meant so much to Vasquez-Ruiz, especially because the year before, the birthday she’d planned for Abel wasn’t as special as she’d hoped. There were only a few guests that showed up, but this year was very, very different.
After over 200 responses flooded in, the grateful mom had to refuse offers and limit the guest list because of how many people were willing to get involved and participate.
“Me and my family are so grateful for what you did for our son Abel. We can’t thank you enough,” she said. “Imperial Beach made that happen. That big smile on my son’s face.”
“I met a grateful family in a selfless community!” KFMB-TV reporter Abbie Alford posted on Monday. “Mom went to an Imperial Beach Facebook page asking for cake mix and decorations for her son, Abel’s 4th birthday, and the community response is a great act of kindness!”
Photos show the 4-year-old clearly enjoying himself, the generosity of the community only matched by the joy in the young boy’s smile.
“It was really exciting to see Abel smile,” his uncle, Jose Ruiz, told KMFB-TV. “He’s just a really special kid.”

Lots of people enjoy getting drinks with friends, and lots of people have furry friends they like to take out and about. Many breweries, bars and restaurants have realized this and it has spurred the creation of many dog-friendly patios.
One of the breweries with an affinity for canines is Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton, Florida, which has a monthly “Yappy Hour” where they invite patrons of all shapes and sizes to come hang out, get something to eat or drink and support a good cause.
“We are huge animal lovers here,” Barry Elwonger, director of sales and marketing, told WFLA. “Huge dog people. We have this massive 14,000 square foot beer garden, it’s the largest beer garden in the state. And it’s always dog-friendly out in the beer garden, we love to share this.”
During their Yappy Hour, the brewery often teams up with a local rescue or shelter to help bring awareness to their cause and hopefully get more homeless pets into loving homes.
Recently, they’ve found a unique way to promote adoptable pups that has impressed many people. Teaming up with Shelter Manatee, they formed a plan.
“And we were all three of us talking and just kind of said ‘Hey how can we raise awareness and the most funds for the shelter that’s trying to build their new space,’” Elwonger said.
So, they decided to put the pups where they couldn’t be missed: Smack-dab in the middle of the cans for one of their new lagers.
“Special Adoptable Dog Beer Release Benefit at this Sunday’s Yappy Hour 1-4PM!” the brewery shared on Facebook earlier this month. “Partnering with this month’s cause, Shelter Manatee, we are excited to release an exclusive ADOPTABLE DOG Cruiser Kölsch 4-PACK.”
“Proceeds go to Shelter Manatee to help build the new shelter for our less fortunate four-legged friends. The dogs featured on the can will be on-site ready for adoption alongside several more puppers-in-need plus raffles, silent auctions, drink specials, food trucks & local vendors.”

“We are totally excited about the overwhelming support we’re getting for these Adoptable Dog Cruiser Kölsch 4-Packs!” the brewery posted on Wednesday.
The cans feature a cute photo of the adoptable pup, along with its name, impound number and a short blurb. After the initial launch, two of the four featured dogs have been adopted — but there are plenty more waiting for their close-ups.
“There’s hundreds more dogs that are looking for homes,” Elwonger told WTVT. “We wanted to showcase that the shelter has some really lovable dogs and, you know, go and check it out and look into a rescue.”
The shelter was heartened by the positive reception as well, and expressed their appreciation on their own Facebook page.
“OK folks this is amazing how a simple idea has spread,” the shelter posted on Thursday. “Thank you all for the continued support locally and through out the country. Thank you Motorworks Brewing and Manatee County Animal Services for partnering with us on this.”
“We also want to be sure to give credit to Fargo Brewing Company and 4 Luv of Dog Rescue who originally came up with the concept.”
As this idea spreads, don’t be surprised if your local dog-friendly spots start doing something similar. It’s a great way to highlight dogs that might otherwise be overlooked — and who knows, maybe the adoptees will become regulars at their local joint.

Twitter attached a warning reserved for graphic, gory, or violent content to a pro-life video from the Trump campaign, prompting accusations of censorship against the social media giant.
Hours before Trump is scheduled to become the first sitting U.S. president to attend the annual March for Life, his official campaign account posted a video showing couples with newborns and a pregnant woman looking at an ultrasound of her baby.
"Life is the greatest miracle of all. We see it in the eyes of every new mother who cradles that wonderful, innocent, and glorious newborn child in her loving arms," Trump says in the video. "Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life."
The video was flagged as containing "sensitive material," despite showing no sexual, violent, or hateful imagery.
Such warnings are reserved for graphic or hateful content.
"You may not post media that is excessively gory or share violent or adult content within live video or in profile or header images. Media depicting sexual violence and/or assault is also not permitted," the social media giant says in its guidelines. "Our aim is to limit exposure to sensitive images and videos and to prevent the sharing of potentially disturbing types of sensitive media."
The Trump campaign said Twitter’s content warning amounted to "censorship" and an attempt to hinder pro-life messages on the site.
"Twitter’s censorship of the video launching President Trump’s pro-life coalition is a perfect example of the left stomping on any idea they don’t like," spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany said. "This video shows children and families and highlights the sanctity of life. President Trump is the most pro-life President ever and his support for unborn children cannot be silenced."
Not all videos discussing abortion have been flagged as potentially "sensitive." Planned Parenthood videos featuring women discussing their abortions automatically play for any user.

Friday’s episode is not the first time social media platforms have removed or hidden pro-life messages. In June, Twitter banned activist Lila Rose from posting videos on the site. In 2018, Facebook blocked pro-life organizations from advertising on the site.
A spokeswoman for Twitter said the video was flagged "in error" and the settings have since been changed.
Trump is scheduled to address the March for Life at noon.

She might have waited a bit longer for the documents now released that show that Obama met with Ukrainian prosecutors, US embassy officials and faux-whistleblower Eric Ciaramella in January 2016 to discuss Burisma and Hunter Biden’s role there. George Kent, the Democrats’ own witness, had voiced his concern about Hunter Biden’s position there but was rebuffed by a Biden aide. Ciaramella? Rep. Garcia’s overarching defense of the Bidens will very likely come back to haunt the congresswoman from Texas as will Biden’s memo to the media not to report on or address the “conspiracy theory” that there was something corrupt about his family’s dealings with Ukraine and Burisma. Biden obviously thinks he can control what the left media will investigate; he thinks this because it has always worked in the past. That is probably why the NYT never reported on the Obama WH meeting with the Ukrainian prosecutors who were investigating Hunter Biden and Burisima and had been since 2014.
Garcia then contended that President Trump made “the phone call” in July, the transcript of which we are all familiar with, because he was threatened by Biden’s rise in the polls! Does any sentient person believe that? Of course not. If there is anyone who knows polls are meaningless it is Donald Trump and his supporters. And Joe Biden was never, will never be, a threat to Trump’s re-election. He does not know what state he is in from day to day. He thinks we don’t need “standing armies” and that we should be “helping” communist China!
The man is dangerously oblivious of all things relevant to our national security. It is hard to imagine Biden even going the distance and becoming the Democrat nominee. So Rep. Garcia’s entire theory is seriously flawed. We also all know, as do they, that what Trump was concerned with was not the 2020 election but the 2016 election, since Ukraine’s interference to benefit Clinton was beginning to be reported, specifically by Politico in January 2017.
But Garcia opened the door even wider than Schiff did to further discussion of the Bidens’ financial malfeasance. They will have a very difficult time explaining, let alone defending, the many get-rich-quick schemes in which they were involved.
Meanwhile, the bobble-heads on CNN and MSNBC wax rhapsodic on Schiff’s theatrical debut: ”dazzling” (Jeffrey Toobin), “powerful and forceful” Wolf Blitzer, ”virtuoso performance (Joe Scarborough); there are more and they are all distastefully obsequious.
This insincere kind of “Flattery corrupts both the receiver and the giver.” (Burke) Schiff and his fans on the Left should not take any comfort from such benighted, self-serving sources.
Then there is Rudy Guiliani. The splenetic left media love to mock him but he is about to drop a boatload of info on the corruption in Ukraine that is not going to land on Trump but on the Bidens and all those diplo-thugs who think they should be running American foreign policy rather than the President.
The most mystifying aspect of the Left’s obsession with removing President Trump from office is what exactly is its motivation. Yes, prior to the election they were certain they could derail Trump, so yes, they were stupefied when Hillary lost. But everyone knows by now that the Russia hoax was just that, a hoax cobbled together with a cast of characters from the Clinton campaign and her hired guns (Fusion GPS and Perkins-Coie) to the reprobates at the upper realms of the FBI, the DOJ and CIA. None of their investigations have yielded fruit and still they keep digging the hole in which they have already found themselves.
What is it they so maniacally fear about this man who, in spite of them, has accomplished so much good in just three years? Is it his promise to drain the swamp which would mean uncovering all their shady money deals that have for generations made them all wealthy while in office? Perhaps. It is more likely that because he is not a politician but an authentic American patriot who believes this country was founded on great principles, is still a grand and successful experiment, and that but for the intervening presidencies of Marxist socialist utopians like Obama, can be great again. How dare he! What an upstart, they think! We run this place, not some self-made interloper from outside the beltway or Ivy League.
Whatever the reason for the Left’s psychopathy regarding President Trump, they have now gone so far over the edge of sanity it is quite likely they will be unable to come back as a legitimate party. The fact that Pelosi and Schumer have allowed the odious, prevaricating and self-aggrandizing Adam Schiff to carry on like his home is in a tree and that only one or two Democrats have objected to their impeachment crusade to unseat the man proves the party is lost forever. Meanwhile, the bobble-heads on CNN and MSNBC wax rhapsodic on Schiff’s theatrical debut: ”dazzling” (Jeffrey Toobin), “powerful and forceful” Wolf Blitzer, ”virtuoso performance (Joe Scarborough); there are more and they are all distastefully obsequious.
This insincere kind of “Flattery corrupts both the receiver and the giver.” (Burke) Schiff and his fans on the Left should not take any comfort from such benighted, self-serving sources.
Then there is Rudy Guiliani. The splenetic left media love to mock him but he is about to drop a boatload of info on the corruption in Ukraine that is not going to land on Trump but on the Bidens and all those diplo-thugs who think they should be running American foreign policy rather than the President.
The most mystifying aspect of the Left’s obsession with removing President Trump from office is what exactly is its motivation. Yes, prior to the election they were certain they could derail Trump, so yes, they were stupefied when Hillary lost. But everyone knows by now that the Russia hoax was just that, a hoax cobbled together with a cast of characters from the Clinton campaign and her hired guns (Fusion GPS and Perkins-Coie) to the reprobates at the upper realms of the FBI, the DOJ and CIA. None of their investigations have yielded fruit and still they keep digging the hole in which they have already found themselves.
What is it they so maniacally fear about this man who, in spite of them, has accomplished so much good in just three years? Is it his promise to drain the swamp which would mean uncovering all their shady money deals that have for generations made them all wealthy while in office? Perhaps. It is more likely that because he is not a politician but an authentic American patriot who believes this country was founded on great principles, is still a grand and successful experiment, and that but for the intervening presidencies of Marxist socialist utopians like Obama, can be great again. How dare he! What an upstart, they think! We run this place, not some self-made interloper from outside the beltway or Ivy League.
Whatever the reason for the Left’s psychopathy regarding President Trump, they have now gone so far over the edge of sanity it is quite likely they will be unable to come back as a legitimate party. The fact that Pelosi and Schumer have allowed the odious, prevaricating and self-aggrandizing Adam Schiff to carry on like his home is in a tree and that only one or two Democrats have objected to their impeachment crusade to unseat the man proves the party is lost forever. White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham has seen an increased level of overtly hateful messages and sexist threats since the establishment media have intensified criticisms of her in recent weeks, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
“F*ck you,” one person wrote in red ink to Grisham in one such message.
“c*nt,” read a postcard addressed to “Stephanie C*nt Grisham” at the White House.
“You were remembered in prayer,” another note, with the implication that she was going to be killed, sent to Grisham read.
One person sent her a teddy bear covered in what looked like blood. The teddy bear never made it to her, as the Secret Service intercepted it before it was delivered to her—and all she got was a photo of the maimed teddy bear.
The White House provided Breitbart News with these and other samples of hate-filled vitriolic messages Grisham has been receiving—most sent to the White House address, but some she has been receiving at her home address—in recent weeks and months.
They have intensified as CNN, the Washington Post, and the New York Times have published a steady stream of attacks against her, whining that she has not done an on-camera briefing since taking the job. All three outlets have engaged in a series of hits ripping her, and as they have done so, the threats against her have increased.
Breitbart News is publishing images of the threats here, and redacting personally identifying information that could reveal who sent them to the White House or Grisham’s personal address. They include postcards, letters, social media messages, and even the apparently bloodied teddy bear. These images are graphic in nature, filled with vile and disgusting language, and are just a small sample of the broader attacks Grisham has endured since taking the job as President Donald Trump’s White House press secretary.
Grisham, one of Trump’s top aides who has been at the president’s side since early in the 2016 presidential campaign, told Breitbart News for this story that she understands part of the job is dealing with unprecedented opposition, but the media hatred directed at her is making it worse.
Several top allies of the president, including a number of women who work throughout the administration and on the president’s re-election campaign, as well as other outside allies of the White House, defended Grisham from this hateful vitriol in exclusive statements to Breitbart News on Thursday evening as well.
Someone wrote in a handwritten postcard to Grisham with a postmark in Texas:
I am tired of lies. I am tried of racism. I am tired of the swamp. I am tired of ‘alternative facts.’ I am tired of cover for the Drumpf. I am tired of bully tactics. I am tired of rapists. I despise dictators. I wonder will you kiss the ring? the ass? The Putin-lover, the dictator-lover? You have already, I know. Are you going to kick out journalists? Are you a Sarah Sanders wannabe? Will you always praise the racist in chief? Are you a racist? I know… you don’t care either, do you? Watch your pussy.
Another postcard with a return address sticker with a woman’s name and an address in Michigan printed on it, addressed to Grisham, said:
AKA Braindead Lying Twit Pretending to be a Press Secretary a la Fox News” in “America’s House of Treason” with the White House address, called her a “treacherous b*tch,” referred to Grisham’s predecessor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as “F*ck-a-Me,” and said anyone who works in President Trump’s White House has their “brains melt into puddles of turds.”
Another message addressed to Grisham said it is a “pity you choose a corrupt misogynist and racist over your country.”
“And you’re not even doing your job,” the message continued. “A true parasite.”
That one ends with a not-too-subtle threat: “Praying that Satan takes you home soon.”
Three other postcards sent via Touchnote–a service by which people can send postcards via an online service–include one calling her a “despicable piece of sh*t;” another that addresses her as “you f*cking c*nt” and says “people paid with taxpayer dollars to defend a criminal president deserve strong language like that;” and a third postcard says, “Here’s some strong language you deserve. How can you stand yourself you filthy piece of shit.”
Others include postcard photograph memes that call her a “c*nt,” a “bloody c*nt,” and urge her to “shut the fuck up u bloody c*nt.”
That’s not to mention all the hate she’s received via social media platforms, including a message that asks her “exactly what mental disorders” she was born with, saying she is a “highly f*cking ignorant moronic c*nt” whose “mother certainly would have done the world a favor if she had had an abortion” and hopes that Grisham’s “tubes are tied.”
Another asks her if President Trump had to “grab your p*ssy” in order for her to get the White House press secretary job, calling her a “silly c*nt” and threatening to make a “meme of you giving him a blowjob.”
“I hope your kids see it,” the hate messenger added.
Another person called Grisham a “f*cken c*nt,” “pure human trash,” and said “your family for generations will be embarrassed because of you.”
There are several more messages, including multiple vitriolic letters like one where the author—the letter is signed by someone who identifies themself as a man from south Florida—writes to Grisham that the letter author is “sure the president is pleased to have replaced the previous lying whore with one who is equally unqualified—except perhaps in the area of giving blow jobs to the head man, so to speak.”
“You are sucking on the part of him that has the most brains,” the author continued in the letter to Grisham. “Comparable in size to yours which apparently resides in your pussy. You people are a bunch of fascist pigs.”
It all started with a CNN piece in August 2019, a month into Grisham’s tenure in the job. Then CNN doubled down in November. That led to the New York Times hit in early January, which sparked more CNN attacks from Cooper and then eventually a regularly-updated ongoing “Grisham Watch” blog from Wemple in the Washington Post.
In August 2019, CNN staffers Kate Bennett and Kaitlan Collins published a piece on the organization’s website titled: “The White House has a new press secretary, remember?”
The piece from the CNN staffers noted that some had hoped Grisham would reinstate press briefings on camera, which ended towards the end of Sanders’ tenure, but that Grisham was leaning against doing so.
The CNN staffers wrote in the article, which quoted Grisham on the record as explaining the many things she did for the press in lieu of an on-camera briefing that people like CNN staffer Jim Acosta use to try to cause confrontation to drive television ratings:
Once a standard weekday ritual, it has now been 165 days [40 of which were Grisham’s at the time of the publication of this Aug. 2019 CNN article] since the last official White House press briefing, and Grisham has shown no sign of returning to the podium. She chalks it up to just one of many examples of how the Trump presidency has broken any semblance of normalcy.
She cites the number of times she has met with the White House Correspondents’ Association leadership (four), how many unscheduled daily press visits to her office she gets (35 or so, but some aren’t received, she said), the ramped up number of official White House press releases that have come from her office since the first week of July (225) and that she has gaggled, once, aboard Air Force One. All of the activities listed fall under the realm of typical responsibilities of a White House press secretary.
Then, later, CNN writer Oliver Darcy—who writes about media for the network—on Nov. 11, 2019, really kicked things into high gear.
“White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham has yet to hold a briefing with reporters, but finds time for Fox News,” was Darcy’s Nov. 11 headline.
In the piece, Darcy counted up the number of times Grisham had appeared on various conservative media platforms—and contrasted that with not holding a briefing. Buried in the story is a quote from Grisham, who cooperated with his story and noted that it was the president’s decision to cancel the briefings. She told to Darcy she will “hold a press briefing when the President wants me to.”
“That is ultimately his decision,” Grisham said to Darcy. “The briefings, which are meant to inform the public, were becoming a spectacle.”
Those attacks in 2019 laid the groundwork for an intensification of media attacks in early 2020. When the new year hit, on Jan. 10, the New York Times’ Grynbaum and Katie Rogers published a co-bylined attack on Grisham headlined: “Stephanie Grisham: Trump’s Press Secretary Who Doesn’t Meet the Press.”
The sub-headline suggested that Grisham was abandoning the country at a time when the nation was on the brink of war with Iran—a war that never materialized.
“A presidency in crisis, a nation on the brink of war — and a White House press secretary who was largely out of sight,” the sub-heading read.
The narrative in Grynbaum’s and Rogers’ piece was similar to that started by CNN in 2019.

It’s not every day that the White House press secretary is offered $200,000 to appear on camera and explain the president’s decisions — any of them — to the public. But as one of the most consequential weeks in President Trump’s tenure draws to a close, the world beyond the Beltway is beginning to notice that Stephanie Grisham — unlike her predecessors, colleagues and boss — does not appear to relish the talking-to-the-public part of her job. In six months as press secretary, Ms. Grisham has held zero briefings for reporters.
That Times piece paved the way for bigger guns at CNN to join their lower-level colleagues from the 2019 stories, where anchor Anderson Cooper started going after Grisham in several broadcasts.
In Cooper’s “The Ridiculist” segment that evening, Jan. 10, he ripped Grisham for not holding on-camera televised press briefings.
“Grisham is making more than $150,000 a year, she doesn’t have time to step into that small, dank little room with all that free press sitting around. There’s no telling what they might ask,” Cooper said.
Cooper then launched into a conspiracy-laden tirade claiming Grisham was actually “trying to secretly and subtly subvert the president” as a “deep-cover asset for the resistance inside the White House.”
After that, the Washington Post’s media blogger started publishing a series he called “The Grisham Watch” where he tracked Grisham’s daily movements—including her trips to the bathroom.

Several Trump supporters were outraged that Wemple would publish such things:

But Wemple has continued the attacks and published a number of stories asking Grisham for her daily movements and activities around the White House, with which she has cooperated, providing him a detailed account of her activities on some days including trips to the restroom.

But as these media attacks intensify, so has the hate-filled, vitriolic, and potentially dangerous messages and packages from critics of the Trump administration.
Grisham, for her part, is taking it in stride but criticized the establishment media in an exclusive statement to Breitbart News for refusing to hold themselves accountable and refusing to hold themselves to the same standards they project onto others.
“Being the President’s spokesperson makes me a public figure, and that comes with a lot of attention–often negative,” Grisham told Breitbart News. “That’s always been a part of the job, especially for Republicans. But the media’s coverage of this President and his staff has escalated the negativity to unprecedented levels, as evidenced by my predecessor being the first press secretary to have a Secret Service detail. The media say they are here to ‘hold the powerful accountable,’ which is a noble goal. But who holds the media accountable? They circle the wagons to protect each other–even though their ‘mistakes’ always go in one direction–but pile on the people who don’t share their views. There are consequences for this, especially for those of us who find ourselves in their crosshairs.”
The first family is appreciative of Grisham’s work in the job and what she has to go through to serve the country and the president.
Donald Trump, Jr., the president’s eldest son, told Breitbart News for this story that the attacks on Grisham are totally uncalled for—and he thinks rational Americans should speak up in her defense.
“The media are so consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome that they’ll do anything to advance their ideology and agenda, even if that means putting their political opponents’ lives in danger,” Trump, Jr., said. “The media called me a traitor for two solid years, then when the Russia hoax was exposed, they just moved on to the next hit job. But their hysteria contributed to me becoming the second most threatened individual in the country, according to the Secret Service. Stephanie’s tough as nails. But she deserves the vocal support of every rational American who’s sick of the media’s irresponsible attacks.”
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer also defended Grisham. “Attacks and threats of violence have no place in our country,” Spicer told Breitbart News.
Several top women inside the Trump administration and who work for the president’s re-election campaign have also gone on record to defend Grisham from these horrific attacks.
“The White House Press Secretary should never be threatened for simply carrying out her job,” State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus told Breitbart News. “Stephanie is a public servant, a patriot, and an exemplary role model for aspiring female communicators. And she’s my friend. We’d be lucky to have more women like her in this administration.”
Pentagon Press Secretary Alyssa Farah similarly stood up for Grisham.
“Stephanie works tirelessly every day to advance the Trump Administration’s agenda and communicate the President’s priorities to the American people,” Farah told Breitbart News. “She’s highly professional, loyal, and an invaluable member of the Administration.”
Several women leaders on Trump’s re-election campaign also defended Grisham. Trump’s newly named national finance chair of the Trump Victory Finance Committee Kimberly Guilfoyle was one.
“Never before in American history have women been more empowered than right now under President Trump, and the left hates it,” Guilfoyle said. “Now their allies in the media are committed to smearing the strong women who are working to advance his agenda. Stephanie Grisham is truly a patriot who is as skilled as she is brilliant. As a woman, I am proud of the work she continues to do on behalf of this great county.”
Senior adviser to the president’s 2020 re-election campaign Katrina Pierson added that this is why people, including the president, think the media are “the enemy of the people.”
“Honestly this is why the fake news media is the enemy of the people,” Pierson said. “The character assassination of the president and those around him by the fake news media is what contributes to the hostility and the danger that follows when being demonized by a once-credible media establishment. The attacks from the fake news media have real world consequences, and here you see an example of those. There are at least 63 million Trump supporters who have families who are real people with real emotions and real lives. Many of them go through this on a regular basis and it’s unacceptable. There’s an old saying that if you’re not taking flak, you’re not over the target so my friend Stephanie appears to be very effective. She’s tough and a fighter. They won’t make her back down.”
Jenna Ellis, an attorney for President Trump, added that no public servant should have to go through what Grisham has endured here.
“No public servant should EVER have to endure disgusting personal threats on their safety,” Ellis told Breitbart News. “Our country was built upon the idea of peaceful assembly and public discourse. But the radical left won’t tolerate anyone they disagree with, and they absolutely hate President Trump for his bold championing of conservative American values. The media is only amplifying the hatred and viciously vilifying anyone associated with President Trump hoping to bully us to back down and stop fighting for liberty. I have two words for you: WE WON’T.”
Arthur Schwartz, a GOP strategist outside the White House who is a close ally of the president and first family, added that this behavior further exposes the establishment media.
“The President’s election exposed the media for being completely out of touch with the America that they are supposedly covering,” Schwartz said. “It was a total embarrassment and they’ve been lashing out ever since–hoaxes, conspiracy theories, angry attacks. It’s really been something to watch the media destroy the little bit of credibility they had left. But the unfortunate side effect of this reckoning is that their attacks hurt the people they target and sometimes even put them in physical danger. It’s irresponsible, at best, and sometimes flat out malicious. In Stephanie’s case, they could care less that she’s a working mom whose risen to her position by sheer tenacity. If she were a Democrat she’d be a media darling. But since she works for Trump they want to tear her down.”
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is launching what he says is an effort to prove there was corruption in former Vice President Joe Biden’s dealings with Ukraine.
Giuliani, who is now an attorney for President Donald Trump, announced his plans Thursday.
“Everything I tried to tell the press last March is now coming out, and more,” he tweeted. “I will now start to reveal the evidence directly to you, the People.
“The Biden Family Enterprise made millions by selling public office. Then when Joe was Obama’s Point Man, they ALL made millions.”

As vice president, Biden, currently the front-runner in the Democratic presidential primary race, intervened in Ukraine to urge the dismissal of a prosecutor who was investigating an energy company that was paying a large sum to his son.
Trump has insisted that Biden acted to protect his son and that was evidence of corruption. Biden has said that he acted in partnership with U.S. allies to get rid of a prosecutor who himself was corrupt.
“I never went to look for dirt on Joe Biden,” Giuliani said on “Fox & Friends.” “It was handed to me. It was handed to me almost a year and a half ago. It involved Ukrainian corruption.”
Giuliani said his sources told him that within Ukraine, efforts were underway to help steer the 2016 election in favor of Democrat Hillary Clinton.
He said officials within the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine were in on the scheme.
“The embassy was involved in gathering dirt on Trump, on Trump Jr., and Manafort,” he said, referring to Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, and Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign manager, who had dealings with Ukraine long before he joined the Trump campaign and has been convicted of fraud in connection with those activities.
“I’m going to present, over the next two to three weeks, shocking crimes at the highest levels of both governments,” he said, denigrating allegations against Trump being made in his Senate impeachment trial as “phony stories.”
“I started investigating Biden two years ago,” when there was at best a vague expectation of a Biden 2020 candidacy, Giuliani said. “It looked to me like he couldn’t cross the street, much less run.”
During the interview, Giuliani said he can prove there was a “Biden bribe” and that the head of Burisma Holdings — the energy company that hired Hunter Biden — “was buying Joe Biden to protect his company.”

Giuliani traced what he said was a timeline that showed the extent of Ukrainian efforts to investigate Burisma — efforts that he said were cut short when the prosecutor was dismissed.
During the segment, the show’s hosts asked Giuliani about his methods in uncovering the evidence Giuliani said he has amassed.
“They way I approached it has benefitted the American people,” he said.
“When the vice president of the United States corrupts the president of another country, that is about as horrendous a crime as you can find,” Giuliani said.
During the interview, Giuliani said Ukrainian sources that have shared information with him were in fear that the normal channels of reporting about corruption were controlled by officials loyal to Clinton and that he had no choice but to freelance his own investigation.
“Am I going to cover it up the way the Democrats and the media cover it up? Absolutely not. I prosecuted too many corruption cases to sit by and watch my country sold out by a vice president,” he said.
Giuliani said that next week, through a podcast, he will start presenting witnesses he has on tape.
He has said he wants to see a full investigation and trial.
“I would love to see a trial. I’d love to be a witness — because I’m a potential witness in the trial — and explain to everyone the corruption that I found in Ukraine, that far out-surpasses any that I’ve ever seen before, involving Joe Biden and a lot of other Democrats,” he said Sunday, according to the New York Post.
