Report: Is Deep State Attempting to Run Out the Clock on IG Report?

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, expressed frustration Monday following the latest delay in the release of the DOJ’s inspector general’s report on FISA Court abuse against the Trump campaign.

Sen. Grassley: “All of the delays and excuses why the Horowitz IG FISA report isn’t public yet after several months of anticipation of its issues leads me to the suspicion it’s going to be ‘deep six’ [sic] by the deep state,” Grassley wrote on Twitter.

The IG report was pushed back to last week but was not released.
And now there is no word on whether it will be released this week after last week’s delay.

Grassley suspects the Deep State may discard the findings and the public may never see the criminal activity taken by the Obama administration against the Trump campaign in 2016.

Last week former Republican lawmaker Jason Chaffetz suggested the delay was due to intra-agency squabbling over the proposed redactions. Chaffetz added that he has not seen any evidence that FBI Director Wray has been cooperative in the investigation.

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry suggests this may be an attempt by the Deep State intelligence community to run out the clock.

If President Trump is impeached before the IG report is released we may never see it.

Bed Bath & Beyond Pulls Black Jack-O’-Lanterns; NAACP Leader: ‘Blackface’

After a local news outlet drew attention to a pair of black pumpkins with eyes, nose and mouth painted in white at a law firm in Nyack, New York, and an NAACP leader declared black jack-o’-lanterns a form of “blackface,” national retail chain Bed Bath & Beyond pulled the product from shelves and its online store.

The controversy over the “blackface” jack-o’-lanterns all began with a report by Westchester’s News 12, which looked into some local “complaints” about a Halloween display in front a law firm in Nyack.

News 12’s reports shows that the two black pumpkins with white painted-on faces were perched on a hay bail on the front step of the firm along with a regular pumpkin.

Though jack-o’-lanterns have long come in all colors, including black, News 12 reports that the two black ones “upset some community members.”

“The reaction from some community members led the Feerick, Nugent, MacCartney Law Offices to take the pumpkins down less than 48 hours after setting them out on the porch,” the outlet reports. How many people complained is unclear.

The partners in the law firm stressed that they meant no harm in putting out the two Halloween decorations.

“We understand that someone complained about them, and so once we got word of that, we immediately took them down,” attorney Mary Marzolla told News 12.

“We represent people of all colors and faiths, and we would never do anything to exclude anyone from any community,” she said.

“It’s just nothing I take offense to personally, but since it did offend someone we took proactive steps to take it down,” said Marzolla’s associate Alak Shah.

But when News 12 asked the director of a local NAACP chapter about the decorations, he said they were a product of “extreme lack of sensitivity” and suggested that black jack-o’-lanterns were another form of “blackface.”

“By now I would believe everyone [would] know that anything in Black face is offensive,” said local NAACP Director Wilbur Aldridge.

In response to Marzolla and Shah pointing out that they had seen no complaints directed at Bed Bath & Beyond, where they purchased the two black jack-o’-lanterns, Aldridge said that a retail store having the item in its inventory is “equally as offensive” as the firm’s choice to display them.

When News 12 reached out for comment from Bed Bath & Beyond, the store apologized and “immediately” pulled the item.

“Bed Bath & Beyond apologized, saying that any offense was unintentional and that it ‘immediately removed’ the pumpkins from sale,” News 12 reports. “The store says it took action after News 12 reached out but would not say if it had received any other complaints.”

Controversies over “blackface” have been raging over the last year after a series of stories involving old photos of political figures wearing dark makeup.

The most infamous of the incidents involved Virginia’s Democratic Governor Ralph Northam, who came under fire after an Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook photo emerged allegedly showing Northam either wearing blackface or dressed as a member of the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan. Northam initially admitted to and apologized for being in the photo, but never confirmed which of the two people was him. He quickly recanted, however, and insisted that he was neither of the people in the photo.

A four-month investigation into the photo by the med school came up inconclusive. “No one we interviewed told us the governor was in the photograph, and no one could positively state who was in the photograph,” said the investigators hired by the school, as reported by The New York Times.

Hmm. Transgender Model Files Police Report After Being Denied Porn Job Due to Her P*nis

Transgender model Ria Cooper filed a police report after she was denied a role in a porn shoot due to her p*nis.

Ria has transitioned two or three times back and forth from man to woman.
She believes it is her right to be cast in a porn production.

Police are investigating a complaint of an alleged ‘hate incident’ in which a transgender model was denied a job as a female porn star after the photographer discovered the model still had a penis.

Ria Cooper, who became the UK’s youngest transgender person aged 15 before later transitioning back to male age 18, and then to female again later, has accused the photographer of ‘transphobic behaviour’. Cooper said the incident could prevent a future career in the modelling industry.

According to claims reported by the Hull Daily Mail, after posting pictures on social media of a new glamour portfolio, a man reached out to Cooper. He claimed that he could advance her modelling career, and offered her money to have sex with him on camera.

When the man discovered that Ria had male sexual organs, he broke off contact, saying he would not work with her because she still had “a c**k”.

In a private message, the man reportedly said: “Why don’t you send one of yours, my friend just told me — sorry Playboy won’t accept that.”

Speaking to the local newspaper, Ria said: “I am reporting this as a hate crime. It’s like calling someone who is black the ‘N’ word. It doesn’t matter if I have c*** or not. The pictures should be judged as they are. It says on my social media profile that I am a ladyboy, I didn’t ever say that I wasn’t and I thought he knew.”

States must end sex-change mutilations now

If either a child or an adult believes he or she is some sort of animal and desires the surgical removal of legs or arms, would any doctor even consider chopping off those limbs at the behest of the mentally ill patient? Why should it be any different for a request to castrate or mutilate from one who suffers from gender dysphoria?

The case of James Younger in Texas should finally answer this question for all of us. It’s time for conservatives to amputate the head of the sexual mutilation industry and make the performance of such castrations and mutilation operations illegal across the board.

On Monday, a jury in Texas (not California!) ruled that Jeffrey Younger, the father of a seven-year-old son whose mother wants to start the hormonal process to “transition” him to a “girl,” cannot receive custody of James, cannot do anything to prevent him from being treated like a girl, and cannot block the chemical castration. There is much debate over the courts, the custody battle, the degeneration of our society, and questions of a child’s mental understanding of the issues at that age. However, there is one question that comes before this entire debate, and if it were categorically answered, there would be no further debate. Why on earth is it legal for any hospital or medical practitioner to engage in such severe mutilation?

We can debate the merits of custody decisions when a certain parent, in this case the mother, Anne Georgulas, wants to treat the child in an abusive way, for example to cross-dress him. But to actually engage in castration, whether chemically or surgically, requires the use of medical services. In an industry that is regulated from head to toe – where so many experimental treatments for terminally ill patients with no other recourse are prohibited – how can there be no law against performing such amputations even for an adult, much less a child, even when both parents agree? What happened to the Hippocratic Oath?

Consider this insanity: 18 states and the District of Columbia have banned homosexual conversion therapy. This is nothing more than consenting adults desiring to undergo therapy where not a single part of the body is touched, much less immutably altered. Yet even in red states it is legal, and evidently now even required in some cases, to castrate someone.

The fact that every solid blue state has made the homosexual agenda the law of the land but red states do not ban the most gruesome mutilations demonstrates the perfidy of the Republican Party. This isn’t even about religion or social conservatism. One need not believe in God at all to understand what is wrong with amputating someone’s penis, no less than gratuitously amputating someone’s arm.

Republicans basically gave up the fight for our civilization a decade ago. They brainwashed people into thinking that a majority of the country already agrees with the Left and that resistance is futile. That simply is not true, and certainly not in a state like Texas. Yes, the one-sided onslaught has taken a toll on our society, but the majority of the country does not support castration. This is why Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin is believed to be surging in the polls after an outside group ran an ad hitting his Democrat opponent for supporting the gender-bender agenda.

Conservatives would be wise to pressure Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to convene a special session of the legislature and criminalize all non-medical removals of male or female genitalia. Other states where Republicans control the governorship and state legislature should be encouraged to do so as well. In addition, Senate Republicans, who seem to have nothing better to do with their time anyway, should pass legislation stripping the federal courts of jurisdiction to interfere with these state laws.

Many have long believed that social transformation through unbridled immigration and open borders is the biggest threat to our civilization. But if we are going to allow child sex change to stand in a state like Texas, then we have no civilization to preserve anyway. The problem is within.

1956 Hungarian Revolution: Why Central Europe Seems to Care More About Freedom Than the West

On this day in 1956, the Hungarian people rose up against their Soviet occupiers, an important chapter in the history of a country which jealously guards its freedom, and remains at odds with a European Union which continues to push for integration and conformity.

Statues were torn down, members of the brutal secret police lynched, and flags burned. Ordinary people also celebrated in the streets — until it became clear that support from the West to make the revolution permanent was not coming, and the Soviets sent in the tanks to put it down.

In the end, over 3,000 were killed in that ill-fated fight to make a country free.

Hungary and the rest of Central Europe eventually found its freedom when the Soviet Union finally crumbled in 1989, and years later were accepted into the European Union. But it has been clear since that Hungary — much like Poland — has not taken well to the EU’s particular idea of democracy.

Indeed, despite Hungarian leader Viktor Orbán enjoying the largest mandate of any elected leader in the European Union, Brussels has repeatedly threatened and attempted to cajole Budapest over hot-topic issues including mass migration.

Hungary is only the best example, perhaps, of a clear divide that exists in Europe — of nations that suffered under the brutal yoke of an oppressive left-wing state and know what it means to have national identity forcibly eroded, to have wrong-speech harshly punished, and to live by diktats issued by a remote and unaccountable bureaucracy.

Hungarians can enjoy a special pride in having endured that because they did rise up in 1956. Indeed, feeling over the 1956 revolution is so strong during 2006 anti-government corruption protests, a tank originally used in 1956 was taken from a museum and used to storm police lines.

Symbolism hardly comes stronger than that.

Last week the New York Times carried an opinion piece from a prominent Hungarian academic outlining the country’s important struggle for freedom, and outlining how hard it is for the nations of Western Europe to understand the Eastern European mindset — the craving for freedom briefly experienced after liberation and now being eroded by an increasingly overbearing European Union.

Written by Hungarian historian Maria Schmidt, the director of the nation’s House of Terror Museum which memorialises the brutal suppression of the nation under the Communist police state, the article goes some way to explaining why Hungarians have become a caste apart in the European Union. In fact, her writing is so stridently unabashed and unselfconscious of the self-censoring norm in Western Europe, it is practically a breath of fresh air.

On the rising interest in populism among voters across Europe in recent elections, Schmidt wrote:

Voters sent a clear message: They want more flexibility in politics, less ideological dogmatism and more readiness for compromise.

While some may not be able to accept it, the old world is disappearing. It can’t be saved. What can and should be saved is Western (Christian) civilization. We must realize that, as the historian Niall Ferguson once wrote, “the biggest threat to Western civilization is posed not by other civilizations, but by our own pusillanimity — and by the historical ignorance that feeds it.”

We Hungarians are well aware that nobody has our best interests at heart other than ourselves. That’s why we continue to insist on liberty, democracy and our independence as a nation-state.

As citizens of a free country in the heartland of Europe, we have served as gatekeepers between East and West for a thousand years.

We hope to do so for a thousand more.

Beyond the usual celebrations attendant to a country celebrating an important historical day, we can also expect to hear from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán today. His speech marking the 1956 anniversary in 2018 also proved instructive in the different, unashamedly traditionalist-populist mindset that is developing in Central Europe.

Addressing the European Union this time last year, Mr Orbán warned against the bloc transforming into a new “European Empire” and said in a speech delivered at the Terror House Museum: “Let’s choose independence and a cooperation of nations over global governing and control. Let’s reject the ideology of globalism and support the culture of patriotism.”

The Hungarian Revolution started on October 23rd 1956 and lasted until November of the same year, when Soviet troops including 1,000 tanks overran the country and put down what they characterised as a “counter-revolution” led by “reactionaries”. In addition to those killed during the fighting, thousands more were executed and imprisoned by the Soviet regime in the years following.

Two Previously Deported Sex Offenders Arrested Crossing California Border

El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents arrested two previously deported sex offenders as they attempted to illegally make their way into California. Both men received previous convictions for sexual offenses against children and were removed from the U.S. following their sentences.

Agents assigned to the El Centro Border Patrol Station on October 18 encountered a man they believed had just illegally crossed the border from Mexico. Agents found him about three miles west of the Calexico Port of Entry, according to El Centro Sector officials.

The agents arrested and transported him to the El Centro Station for processing and a biometric background investigation. Agents identified the man as 54-year-old Pedro Mata-Guerrero, a Mexican national.

A search of his criminal records revealed a conviction in June 2013 by a Wisconsin court for First Degree Sexual Assault of a child. Prior to that conviction, immigration officers removed him from the U.S. in July 2011, officials reported.

Mata now faces new federal felony charges for illegal re-entry after removal as a child sex offender. If convicted on the charge, he could face up to 20 years in federal prison.

The following morning, Calexico Station agents came upon a man they believe had entered the U.S. illegally. The agents found him approximately seven miles east of the Calexico West Downtown Port of Entry, officials reported.

The agents arrested him for illegal entry into the U.S. and transported him to the Calexico Station. Agents identified the man as 49-year-old Juan Ramon Avila-Leon, a Mexican national.

Criminal court records revealed that a court in Shelton, Washington, convicted the man in October 2019 for Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes. The court sentenced Avila to 364 days in confinement. Immigration officers removed the criminal alien upon the completion of his sentence — roughly seven weeks ago. He is now facing a federal felony charge for illegal re-entry after removal.

Hong Kong withdraws extradition bill. Will protesters notice?

Carrie Lam and the leadership in Hong Kong very much want all of these disruptive protesters to just go home and allow life to settle back to normal in their city. Will this do the trick? The whole mess started because of a proposed extradition bill (desired by China) that turned out to be wildly unpopular. In the face of the protests, the bill was put on hold, but that didn’t settle down the crowds at all. Now, after months of unrest, the bill has been formally withdrawn. (Associated Press)

Hong Kong authorities on Wednesday withdrew an unpopular extradition bill that sparked months of chaotic protests that have since morphed into a campaign for greater democratic change.

“I now formally announce the withdrawal of the bill,” Secretary for Security John Lee told the city’s legislature. Pro-democracy lawmakers immediately tried to question him but he refused to respond and the assembly’s president said the rules did not allow for debate.

The long-expected scrapping of the bill was overshadowed by the drama surrounding the release from a Hong Kong prison of the murder suspect at the heart of the extradition case controversy.

On the surface, the current dispute is centered on the case of an accused murderer, but it gets bogged down because of a lack of formal relations between Hong Kong and Taiwan. A 20-year-old man named Chan Tong-kai is accused of traveling to Taiwan with his pregnant girlfriend and murdering her there. (He’s pretty much admitted doing it and is willing to stand trial and face punishment.) But there is no formal extradition agreement between the two provinces and Hong Kong doesn’t even officially recognize the elected government of Taiwan.

The extradition bill might have alleviated the situation, but now it’s been pulled. Hong Kong has offered to allow Chan to fly to Taiwan and turn himself in, but Taiwanese authorities want him arrested first and delivered in custody, presumably to keep the rest of the passengers on his flight safe. There doesn’t seem to be a solution to this log jam at the moment.

The bigger question is whether or not the official removal of the extradition bill will be enough to appease the protesters and send them back to their homes. That seems like a dubious proposition to me. The current movement erupting in the streets may have started over opposition to the bill, but it’s now grown into something much larger. The protesters are calling for more freedom and real democracy with less control by China. The sight of people waving American flags in the streets is no doubt infuriating the Chinese and they weren’t too thrilled with the situation to begin with.

The reality is that China is calling most of the shots. If Carrie Lam can’t figure out a way to put a lid on these demonstrations, she may find Beijing removing her from her position and replacing her with someone who will take an iron fist to the protesters without bothering with a velvet glove. And if the Chinese military suddenly moves in, dreams of a free, democratic Hong Kong will probably disappear the same way the pro-democracy movement in mainland China did after Tiananmen Square.

Report: China Arrests Police Chief for Saying He Worried About Uyghurs at a Party

Authorities in Xinjiang, China, arrested a police chief after he expressed concern for the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities in the province’s concentration camps, Radio Free Asia reported Tuesday.

Sources in Kuchar County, Xinjiang, told the outlet that local Police Chief Himit Qari was detained after expressing his concerns over so-called “re-education camps” while attending a party at a friend’s house this year.

The source claimed Qari revealed during the gathering that “many people had died” at a Uyghur concentration camp in Ucha, where he helped oversee the mass internment program that is believed to have begun in 2017. He reportedly did not provide details about how the people died.

Weeks after his admission, Qari was called by the Kuchar County Public Security Bureau’s disciplinary office for questioning, before being taken to prison on charges of “revealing state secrets” and for further investigation.

RFA contacted the Kuchar County Public Security Bureau, where an officer confirmed that he and his colleagues had been “diligently studying ‘police educational films’” and that “Himit Qari is one of the people featured in the films.”

“He is the political commissar of the Ucha Township Police Station — around 45 years old,” he said. “He was detained because he expressed sympathy towards detainees who died in the camp.”

Chinese officials have long sought to silence criticism of their policy, claiming it is a necessary measure to tackle terrorism following various Islamist inspired attacks over the past decades. They claim that the concentration camps are “voluntary de-radicalization camps” and “vocational training centers,” now believed to hold as many as three million Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic minorities.

According to countless witness testimonies and human rights investigations, the centers more closely resemble concentration camps, with detainees being indoctrinated in support of the Chinese communist regime and coerced into disavowing their allegiance to Islam.

In a recent interview with the Washington Post, female victims recounted how Chinese authorities used rape, forced abortions, and the harvesting of organs, while also accusing them of carrying out a “genocide” against the Uyghur people.

This month, the U.S. Commerce Department announced sanctions against 28 Chinese entities involved in human rights violations against the Uyghur population, arguing that they were all “implicated in the implementation of China’s campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, and high-technology surveillance”

China’s ‘Pig Ebola’ Epidemic Leads to Increased Demand for Dog Meat

China’s devastating outbreak of African swine fever, nicknamed “Pig Ebola” by outside observers, has compelled the destruction of millions of pigs and created a shortage of pork severe enough to put dog and rabbit meat back on the menu in rural areas.

African swine fever is not considered dangerous to humans, but it spreads through pigs with horrifying speed and can survive for long periods of time while it is carried on other animals or even human clothing. No vaccine is available, so infected pigs must be killed to prevent the fever from spreading. The most dire projections say China will lose over half its herd this year, which will wipe out almost a quarter of the global pig supply.

The damage to China’s pork industry has been extensive enough to disrupt the global food chain and factor heavily into China’s trade war with the United States. Pork prices in China rose more than 40 percent over the summer and more than 100 percent for the year in some areas. Consumers fear more shocks are coming because they suspect the official government figures are understating the severity of the epidemic.

The pork price surge is big enough to rattle the entire Chinese economy and turn bond yields negative for the first time in years. Analysts believe the pork shortage is so serious that Beijing cannot address the problem by tapping into national emergency reserves, a strategy it began implementing in August.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Tuesday that Chinese diners are learning to make do without pork, an extremely popular food in China, and turning to more readily available meats like dog and rabbit. Supermarkets are pushing rabbit at discount prices while pork vendors are going out of business and pork is becoming a luxury item.

“The Chinese government has instituted emergency measures to boost pig supply, trying desperately to help farmers expand production while scrambling to import pork to sure up supply,” the SCMP wrote.
