NO CRISIS? Border Patrol Reports Apprehensions In Rio Grande Valley Have Already Surpassed All Of 2018

Border apprehensions of illegal aliens entering the United States in the Rio Grande Valley sector has already surpassed 2018’s year-end total, the U.S. Border Patrol says.

In the first seven months of the fiscal year, which begins Oct. 1, more than 164,000 migrants have been apprehended or turned themselves in and applied for asylum in the sector, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Agents in the sector made 162,262 apprehensions in all of the fiscal 2018 year.

“The increase is the result of an ongoing surge of migrants, most of them from Central America, who are crossing the border to seek asylum,” the Texas Tribune reports. “The 2019 total for the Rio Grande Valley includes 15,310 unaccompanied minors apprehended from October through March — compared to 23,760 during the entire 2018 fiscal year — and 79,000 people who were traveling in families during the same time frame, which has already surpassed the 63,280 family members apprehended in 2018 (April figures were not immediately available).”

“The Border Patrol has reported similar increases along the entire southwest border,” the paper wrote.

Last week, former U.S. Border Patrol chief Mark Morgan, who served during the Obama administration, said the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border is the worst “in the history of this country.”

Morgan, who has been defending President Trump in his efforts to stem the flow of illegal aliens into the U.S., gave a frank assessment of the situation in a Monday interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News Business.

“Make no mistake, and I’ve been trying to get out here — this isn’t just a crisis, this is a crisis like we’ve never experienced in the history of this country since we started tracking numbers,” Morgan said today. “And again, we’ve had that talk and that’s because of the demographics. There’s still this very false talking point out there that — well, back in the ’90s, the numbers were higher — over a million.”

Also last week, Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodolfo Karisch said in during a congressional hearing that in his sector alone, border agents have captured people trying to enter the country illegally from more than 50 different countries, including Turkey, China, Bangladesh, Egypt and Romania. “People are traveling across hemispheres to attempt to illegally enter the U.S., using the same pathways as the Central Americans,” he told lawmakers.

“Much media attention has focused on caravans coming across from Central America,” Karisch said. “But the fact is that RGV is receiving caravan-equivalent numbers every seven days.”

Obama’s border chief Morgan blamed “broken asylum laws.”

“With the broken asylum laws and other loopholes that are there, we’re seeing 65 to 70 percent increase in family units, and because of those broken laws, we’re allowing them in. This year, we’re expected to hit a million, but we’re going to let 650,000 into the country. That’s driving this crisis, driving our resources, being overwhelmed. We have to address it,” he said.

Morgan has long supported a border barrier. In November 2016, he told a Senate committee, “Do we need more fencing? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Do we need it everywhere? No. Is it the sole answer? No.”

Morgan added that the current situation “would be like having a high-tech security system, but not having doors or windows in your house.”

Commie NY Mayor De Blasio Claims Children Demanded “Meatless Mondays” and More Vegetables For Lunch (VIDEO)

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio bragged about how wildly successful “Meatless Mondays” are among elementary school children.

Last month, the Communist Mayor of New York took a page out of Kim Jong Un’s playbook and announced “Meatless Mondays” will be implemented in public schools across NYC.

Bill de Blasio, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Communists in the Democrat party are now trying to control how much meat Americans eat.

De Blasio said in a video he posted to Twitter on Earth Day that the children demanded “Meatless Mondays” and more vegetables in their lunches.

Uh huh.

De Blasio visited a cafeteria in Brooklyn where he claimed he spent time with 4th graders through 7th graders who are passionate about being healthy and saving the planet.

“[T]hey [children] believe in ‘Meatless Mondays,’” De Blasio said. “More vegetables and more fruits, more meatless options are good for everyone and good for the earth, too”

De Blasio added, “We know that we’re going to have to do a lot to fight global warming.”

Right, because nothing says ‘fighting global warming’ like flying a bunch of tropical fruits and vegetables into New York.

“The kids told me that the food tastes better now that they have meatless options…and they’re excited to eat…always want our kids to eat their veggies and now they’re actually doing it.”

Wow. Bill de Blasio managed to find the only children on the planet who prefer broccoli to burgers.

A woman tweeted at De Blasio and called out his lies.

“I’ve worked in NYC schools, the kids hate the meatless meals, they aren’t kid friendly,” the woman said in a tweet to de Blasio.

The Democrats want to control every aspect of our lives and are waging war on meat eaters by pushing vegan diets onto Americans — Veganism is just a form of starvation.

Bill de Blasio, Cory Booker and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sure sound a lot like North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, who fed his people fake meat dubbed “injogogi,” to help North Koreans survive the decades of famine.

“Injogogi” means “man-made meat” — in other words, it’s similar to what vegan Cory Booker eats and now the Democrat Communist lawmakers want us to eat it too.

HOLY CRAP! New ‘Poop Map’ Shows San Francisco Literally Covered In Human Excrement

Well, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is from there.

A new map compiled by Open the Books titled “2011-2019 San Francisco Human Waste Reportings” features a little pin (appropriately brown) showing where city residents have reported human feces. From the looks of the map, the entire city has been covered in poop.

“One report was pinpointed to Seal Rocks – a jagged formation surrounded by the ocean – and more waste was sighted in the waters off the popular Fisherman’s Wharf tourist area,” Fox News reported.

“Since 2008, over 23,800 cases of human waste were reported in the heart of San Francisco. There were 13 reports of human feces in front of City Hall; 17 events at the U.S. Marshals office; and 67 reports at the Tenderloin police station on Eddy Street,” Forbes reported.

Even the biggest companies that call San Francisco home have not be spared. “The largest concentration of complaints was in the area of Market St., where the headquarters of companies such as Twitter and Uber are located. Nearly a hundred markers also were clustered along the block that surrounds city hall,” Fox said.

Poop reports have soared. In 2011, there were 5,547 human feces reports to the San Francisco Department of Public Work. In 2018, that number was 28,084 in 2018. Since 2011, the period covered by the new map, there have been at least 118,352 reported instances of human fecal matter on city streets.

“I will say there is more feces on the sidewalks than I’ve ever seen growing up here,” San Francisco Mayor London Breed told NBC News last year. “That is a huge problem and we are not just talking about from dogs — we’re talking about from humans.”

Of course, the liberal flooded with homeless and drug addicts, who shoot up in public — and then discard their used needles on the streets. But poop is a big problem, too. The city’s answer: “Over the last year, the Department of Public Works instituted what the San Francisco Chronicle called a “Poop Patrol.” Consisting of five teammates, the Chronicle estimated each employee earned a hefty $184,000 in pay, perquisites and pension benefits,” Forbes wrote.

Using this payroll information, we quantified the taxpayer cost of each human waste case last year: $32.75. And that’s not including the sunk costs in trucks, fuel, and equipment such as the steam cleaning unit.

NYC Mayor Introduces ‘Green New Deal’ That Will Slash Beef From Hospitals, Schools, And Jails

It looks like the New York City mayor really is coming for your hamburgers, as least those provided in government institutions.

As part of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s “Green New Deal,” New York City will “lead[ ] by example on climate change by ending City purchases of unnecessary single-use plastic foodware and phasing out the purchase of processed meat, cutting beef purchasing in half, committing to a carbon neutral City fleet by 2040, pursuing expanding mandatory organics collection citywide, and undertaking comprehensive projects to mitigate climate risk, including Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency.”

VegNews – a vegan magazine – reported that this would mean phasing out “the amount of meat served within city-controlled agencies such as hospitals, schools, and correctional facilities.”

In a tweet on Monday celebrating Earth Day, de Blasio said: “we face a moment of crisis. There’s no plan coming from Washington to save our planet — we have to do it ourselves.”

Of course, that means other people and not himself. While appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” de Blasio said part of his Green New Deal for the city involved reducing emissions from skyscrapers.

“The biggest source of emissions in New York City is buildings,” De Blasio said, according to the Daily Caller. “We are putting clear, strong mandates. The first of any city on the earth to say to building owners, ‘clean up your act, retrofit, clean up.’ If you don’t, there’s serious fines, $1 million or more for the biggest buildings. This mandate is going to guarantee we reduce emissions.”

He added: “We are going to ban the glass and steel skyscrapers which are inefficient.”

New York City mayors sure like to ban things.

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough then asked de Blasio about reducing his own carbon footprint, since the mayor takes his motorcade across town every day to attend a gym far from his home.

De Blasio defended this action by saying he wanted to use a gym near his old neighborhood to keep him “connected” to his roots, and that imposing restrictions on everyone else on the city would offset his own actions.

“The plans we put forward we are acting on will reduce emissions 30% in all of New York City by 2030. That’s where we make huge change,” de Blasio said. “To the question wherever I go in New York City, whether I take a subway, go nearby or farther away, I have a security detail that follows me in their cars either way.”

De Blasio decided to implement a Green New Deal for New York City even though a version that made headlines earlier this year, supported by freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of Queens, failed spectacularly in the U.S. senate. Not one Democrat voted for the deal, instead claiming the vote was a sham. They failed to explain how voting on their own radical proposal was a sham.

Don’t look now, but Mexico just busted a migrant caravan

Less than a week ago, President Trump issued a stern warning to the government of Mexico. They would need to step up their efforts to halt these caravans of migrants surging toward the United States or we would need to take steps that could impact both domestic policy on the southern border and endanger trade negotiations with that country. Do you think President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) was paying attention?

The news from the southern portion of Mexico last night would indicate that he received the message loud and clear. A new migrant caravan had been making their way north, but instead of being welcomed with applications for asylum, hundreds were arrested by federal police and detained to await deportation. Central American migrants hoping to reach the U.S. now carry the added anxiety of the pursued after Mexican police and immigration agents detained hundreds in a surprise raid on a caravan in Mexico’s south.

While their compatriots were been taken into custody Monday, hundreds of other migrants scrambled away into the brush along the highway in Chiapas state to elude authorities.

Many had already learned they would not be received in towns with the same hospitality that greeted previous caravans, and now they know they won’t be safe walking along the rural highway either. Mexican authorities detained hundreds in the largest single raid on a migrant caravan since the groups started moving through the country last year.

AP journalists who have been traveling with the caravan estimate that as many as 500 arrests were made. The migrants were loaded into buses and taken to detention centers. Officials were going to interview them but expected the majority to be scheduled for deportation back to their home countries.

It’s true that the caravan had originally been estimated to contain up to 3,000 people, but this shrank the number considerably. A couple more raids like this could cut it in half. But this police action has the potential to move the needle in an important way. Up until now, these well-organized caravans have relied on two things. One is the strength that comes with numbers in terms of fending off the gangs that might otherwise prey on them. The other was the assumption that the Mexican authorities were going to mostly ignore them, if not assist them, and allow them to make their way to the U.S. border. If word gets around that this is no longer the case, the incentive to form up these caravans may begin to diminish.

AMLO is no dummy. He’s going to be dealing with Donald Trump for quite a while to come. There are trade negotiations to be worked out and questions of foreign aid. Much better to have a partner on the other side of the border than an opponent. And his own people, particularly near his northern border, have become increasingly distressed over the armies of migrants milling about. Mexico may have been reluctant to join us in these efforts at first, but it appears they now realize that it’s an investment for the future that they really needed to make.

EXCLUSIVE: Google Leftists Panic About Leaks, Threaten Employment of Colleagues

Left-wing employees at Google are threatening the employment of their colleagues amid a panic about frequent leaks revealing political bias in the company’s products and working atmosphere.

Leaked internal discussion threads from Google provided exclusively to Breitbart News show left-wing Google employees reporting one of their colleagues for alleged “leaks,” while worrying about the legal implications of cracking down on a conservative at the company over his public complaints about working conditions.

The discussion took place last week on the “transparency and ethics” discussion group, from which the alleged leaker had recently been ejected – a failed attempt to stem the tide of leaks showing political bias at the tech giant.

Announcing the ejection of the alleged leaker, a Google employee wrote that vigilance about leaks was “especially important in light of the recent leaks that named our friends and colleagues in Breitbart and the Daily Caller.”

“If you have any knowledge of someone else who definitely leaked from THIS group, be sure to report it at go/stop-leaks,” wrote another Google software developer, referring to an internal messaging system for reporting potential leaks.

“I noticed a certain someone who leaked from this group still works here. Is that the new norm? Is there something specific that makes his leak okay? What’s up with all this” wrote a different employee.

Another Google software engineer said that it would set “an incredibly bad precedent if he is not terminated in light of acknowledging responsibility for the leak.”

The “leak” in question was a Medium post by conservative Google software engineer Mike Wacker. In the post, the employee published anonymized messages from inside the company to draw attention to hostile working conditions faced by employees who express non-leftwing opinions at Google.

Leftists at Google are now also blaming Wacker for the leak of messages from the transparency and ethics discussion group about Kay Coles James, the conservative voice on Google’s now-canceled AI advisory council. In the messages, Google employee accused the African-American grandmother and president of the Heritage Foundation of being a “vocal bigot” who supported “exterminationist views.”

Some Google employees urged caution, noting that there was no evidence that Wacker leaked the discussion, and that persecuting him for his Medium post might have legal implications.

“The odds of them showing up in, for example, a lawsuit for discrimination, or unfair dismissal, are high” said one employee, who warned against empowering “far-right extremists”.

“They serve the propaganda purpose of establishing further that Google is discriminatory against ‘conservative’ voices (ie: the far-right extremists, and the people perfectly happy to work with them if they don’t directly agree such as any republican voter) and that ‘leftists’ as a whole are a mob persecuting anyone they imagine might be an ‘enemy’ without regard of the facts.”

“it occurred to me … that some amount of his conversation might be considered protected speech given that it’s talking about working conditions” wrote another employee.

Under the National Labor Relations Act, workers can engage in public discussion of working conditions at their places of employment. In recent cases, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has upheld the right of employees to hold these discussions on social media platforms.

James Damore, who was fired from Google after publishing an internal memo advocating for viewpoint diversity which was subsequently leaked to the press by his opponents inside the company, brought a case before the NLRB after his dismissal. The NLRB, lobbied by Google, ruled in favor of firing Damore for so-called “discriminatory statements,” but also said that much of the rest of his memo, which discussed working conditions at Google, was protected by labor law.

Nevertheless, a Google employee insisted that the company’s leadership was “looking into” what to do with Wacker, but warned that even though the purported leaker had been ejected from the group, members should still be cautious about further leaks.

“The same email list which leaked recently is probably not the appropriate forum in which to be discussing the matter of what is being done about the leakers.”
