Democrats’ Alabama Hopes Could be Gone With the Wind After Racist Flyer Enrages Blacks

The race for Alabama’s U.S. Senate seat has taken on national proportions as the corrupt bipartisan political elite has spared no resources to destroy the character of Republican Roy Moore.

The former Alabama Supreme Court Justice is a local legend who was the victim of one of the dirtiest smear campaigns ever, a Washington Post story accused the judge of sexual misconduct nearly forty years ago – one incident allegedly with a 14-year-old girl.

The story was fishy all along and thanks to the Democrats’ own problems with sexual issues, has all but fizzled out except in the monologues of late-night comics reading DNC talking points off of their teleprompters.

So, the Democrats did what they do best, they played the race card.

There has been a massive push to register felons and big-name black Dems including Cory Booker are to visit the state to engage in some of that good old-fashioned race-baiting on the final weekend before voters go to the polls.

But it all might be for naught because the Doug Jones campaign was busted for sending out a sickeningly racist flyer that was quickly recognized by African-Americans as the exact sort of cheap pandering that the party always resorts to come election time.

It appears to have backfired as even black activist websites like The Root are calling bullshit on the Dems with one author penning a scathing column entitled “A Racist Flyer Might Cost Doug Jones the Election Because the Entire Democratic Party Is Trash” from which I excerpt the following:

Someone, probably a white man, thought that the image would resonate with black people and motivate them to get out the vote. It’s as if black people were considering voting for the child molester until some brilliant strategist posited, “What if he were black, though?” The flyer is reductive in its oversimplification of the black mind as only caring about black issues. While it might not be racist, it is certainly racist adjacent.

It is also the Democratic Party.

Part of the reason the Democratic Party has been marginalized as a party that only exists on the coasts and in urban areas is white-mannery like this. While the policies of the party may be more progressive and black-friendly, the Democratic leadership is often as prejudiced and shortsighted as its Republican counterparts, and next week’s Senate election is the perfect example.

The Democratic Party is trash. It is the reason Hillary Clinton lost. It is the reason Donald Trump is president.

The party only campaigns in already-Democratic strongholds for the scant few electoral votes during presidential elections, and the rest of the time it ignores them completely.

On the rare occasions when the Democratic Party does address black voters, it only talks about the “black issues”: policing, mass incarceration, civil rights, etc. For the party leadership, black people aren’t whole people who have the same concerns about taxes, job creation, education initiatives, international policy and economics as other voters. They are simply bodies collected in the coffers of the party’s ineffective longing for power.

Now that Dems think Doug Jones has a decent chance to pick up a Senate seat, they have turned to Alabama’s black electorate as if they were in the state the entire time.

Trump will go to a Detroit church and try to change a few minds. The Democratic Party only competes where it knows it will win. Had Hillary Clinton not taken votes for granted in certain states, she might have won the Electoral College. (After you read that sentence, if you listen closely, you can hear a white woman say, “But she won the popular vote, though … ”)

Yet Democrats treat blacks in the South like stepchildren from a previous marriage: They’ll have us over for weekends and election holidays, smile and act nice, but they don’t really do shit for us. They treat the new kids better. The white ones.

That is from the freaking ROOT and when even one of their biased writers is giving grudging props to Trump for visiting a Detroit church then you know that the blue jackass party is badly losing the battle for hearts and minds.

That the Democrats don’t really give a tin shit about blacks can be seen in the poverty and crime-ridden districts of many of the members of the charlatans of the Congressional Black Caucus, keeping people desperate and resentful is the key to their longevity.

But it is ham-handed propaganda like the Doug Jones flyer that put an exclamation point on the cynical pandering to keep black people safely locked inside the Democrat plantation.

The hopes of counting on increased black turnout to vote for a cynical white con artist may have been greatly exaggerated, never underestimate the ability of Democrats to shoot themselves in the foot.
