April Ryan Gets a Good Smackdown After Asking if Trump Visiting Civil Rights Museum is ‘Insulting’ (VIDEO)
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders smacked down American Urban Radio correspondent, April Ryan on Tuesday after she tried to rehash Charlottesville.
President Trump will be participating in a grand opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum this weekend. April Ryan just couldn’t resist and insinuated the president is racist.
“There are comments from people from the NAACP from black ministers who are planning on protesting and boycotting this weekend for the president’s visit to the Civil Rights Museum. What say you?” April Ryan asked.
Sanders patiently responded by saying it was sad that people would be protesting then said it is their right to protest if they so wish.
April Ryan wasn’t satisfied with the answer so she continued to race bait.
“They take it as an insult he’s coming as we’ve had issues with Charlottesville–the back and forth. The President couldn’t get his statements straight on Charlottesville,” Ryan said.
Sarah Sanders shut down April Ryan immediately.
“I think he got his statements very clear when he condemned all forms of racism, bigotry and violence. Uh, there’s no grey area there and he think he made it very clear what his position is,” Sanders said.
Sarah Sanders then immediately moved onto the the next questioning ignoring April Ryan’s further whining.
