Is the torrid attraction officially over because of immigration? Ann Coulter has issued an extreme ultimatum to President Donald Trump, and the wrong choice, she says, will have dire consequences.
In Coulter’s latest column, she pulls no punches on Trump, whom she once furiously supported, raking the President over the coals for what seems to be a grand bipartisan immigration deal in the making.
“NO AMNESTY IS A GOOD AMNESTY,” claims Coulter, who, blisteringly, attacks the “lie” that the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (or DACA) act, and the ‘Dreamers” it covers are merely a small segment of the immigrant population. She claims that what President has been led to believe on illegal immigration – that he must agree to a grand bargain and can’t simply boot out lawbreakers – is pulling him into the trap of passing a comprehensive immigration reform package that includes amnesty.
She cautions the President with a tale of the 1986 agricultural guest worker program, which was supposed to help western and southern fruit farmers pick their crops more efficiently – allow immigrants to do a “job Americans won’t do,” for lack of a better explanation – but turned into a quagmire of false documents, overstayed visas, lendless litigation and skirted regulations.
Fair, sure, but then she extrapolates from there, with some cringe-worthy creative license:
The main problem with the farm worker amnesty, the DACA amnesty or any amnesty is that everyone involved in the entire immigration apparatus is feverishly working, on the taxpayer’s dime, to transform this country into a Third World hellhole. Lawyers for La Raza and lawyers for the government both believe it is their mission to humiliate and destroy white Christian America. (Actually, this country is “biracial Christian America,” plus a few Amerindians and anyone else who assimilated to Western European culture.)
If that sounds extreme, it pales in comparison to the warning she issues Donald Trump, who is reportedly considering trading even funding for a physical barrier along the American-Mexican border for some agreement on DACA: if he doesn’t take an extreme line on immigration, he’ll literally be responsible for the decline and failure of western civilization.
If he succeeds, all the p@ssy-grabbing and Russia nonsense will burn off like a morning fog. He will be the president who saved the American nation, its character, its sovereignty, its core identity. But if he fails, Donald Trump will go down in history as the man who killed America.
Trump, she says, will be the “last President” to make the “right decision” on immigration.
