With a Tuesday morning tweet sure to induce media whiplash as they have to twist themselves into human pretzels and divert from the “Pocahontas” faux scandal to the bad man picking on black millionaires, President Trump once again punted the NFL protesters.
The Thanksgiving Day weekend’s slate of games is now over and while the actual number of kneelers has drastically decreased since hundreds of angry blacks ran amok in week three, the problem still persists and is all but condoned by the league offices.
At least 24 players kneeling this weekend at NFL stadiums that are now having a very hard time filling up. The American public is fed up with the disrespect the NFL is paying to our Country, our Flag and our National Anthem. Weak and out of control!

The President continued to hammer the league as being “out of control” for failing to bring an end to this idiotic shit show that has devolved into a battle of wills between the obscenely overcompensated and grossly incompetent Commissioner Roger Goodell and himself.

The problem is that it is a battle of attrition that can be seen in the weekly numbers and they aren’t looking good. Sunday night’s marquee battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers was down considerably over last week and a sobering report that came out two-weeks ago estimates that the league and it’s partners are on track to lose $500 million by the Super Bowl.
NFL TV Partners Set To Lose Up To $500 Million On Ratings Decline https://t.co/s7rRqYAK7W

Via the sports website Outkick the Coverage “NFL TV Partners Set To Lose Up To $500 Million On Ratings Decline”:
As Roger Goodell, Jerry Jones, and the NFL engage in an ugly internal fight over the future leadership of the NFL, TV partners at CBS, ESPN, Fox and NBC are staring at their own internal conflicts — namely a substantial decline in NFL ratings that is on pace to cost the four networks up to $500 million in lost revenue.
Already several hundred million in lost revenue has been booked in 2017 and it has the league’s top executives and television partners scrambling to figure out what went wrong. How did a league that was setting ratings records in 2015 suddenly see its audience fall by nearly 20% just two years later.
While much of the attention has focused on the protests, according to ongoing conversations with several people close to the league and its television partners over the past couple of months, the ratings decline that will cost the TV partners up to $500 million can actually be attributed to four primary factors.
The factors can all be laid directly at Goodell’s feet and in addition to spitting in the faces of patriotic fans by tolerating cop-hating miscreants who fell that it is a good idea to wipe their asses with the flag they are:
Poor quality of the product, the dilution of quality games in the early Sunday time slot due to too many good matchups being moved to the night games, the concussion problems that are driving parents to keep their kids from playing football and the move of two teams to Los Angeles which has only had a downward pull on local ratings.
The entire article can be read HERE and it makes some good points, especially the analysis about the concussions.
As the old Greek proverb goes – a fish rots from the head down and Goodell must be having ulcers by now with Trump’s weekly sacking of his team at NFL headquarters.
