House Passed Kate’s Law and No Sanctuary for Criminals Act in June, but Both Bills Languish in Senate

Kate’s Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act continue to languish in the Senate in the wake of a California court’s verdict of “not guilty” for Kate Steinle’s illegal immigrant killer. Both bills passed through the House of Representatives in June.

The House passed two immigration reform bills in June, Kate’s Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, which marked two of the country’s first steps towards a pro-American immigration policy despite widespread Democrat opposition.

Kate’s Law was named after Kate Steinle, a San Francisco woman murdered by five-time deportee and seven-time felon illegal alien Jose Garcia Zarate, also known as Juan Francisco López-Sánchez.

A jury found Zarate not guilty Thursday evening in the case of the 2015 murder of Kate Steinle.

President Donald Trump called this ruling a “disgraceful verdict.” Angel families called the verdict a “huge slap” in the face.

Kate’s Law increases penalties for illegal immigrants who repeatedly re-enter the country illegally. Trump applauded the bill’s passage through the House, saying, “Every year, countless Americans are victimized, assaulted, and killed by illegal immigrants who have been deported multiple times. It is time for these tragedies to end.”

The House also passed the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act in June, which restricts taxpayer grant money to cities that prevent their police from turning over dangerous criminal aliens to federal authorities.

Trump noted in June, “The House bill also includes what is known as Grant’s Law and Sarah’s Law. These provisions, which prevent the release of dangerous criminals awaiting removal proceedings, are named for two slain Americans whose parents I spent time with during the campaign.”

President Trump in June also called on the Senate to pass Kate’s Law as well as the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act:

Frustrated with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for holding up more than 300 House-passed bills, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) chastised McConnell and called on the Senate to drop the legislative filibuster to pass President Trump’s agenda.

King spoke about the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. “We had a tragedy in San Francisco with the murder of Kate Steinle. She was murdered by an illegal immigrant who was deported five times,” he said. “But he kept coming back to San Francisco because he knew it was a sanctuary city. Kate Steinle now rests in her grave, and America feels her pain.”

“If we got rid of the Senate filibuster, we would see more action on this bill,” King declared.

CNN Pushes Hard Left, Soros-Funded ‘Hope Not Hate’ Alarmism After Trump UK Tweet

CNN Pushes Hard Left, Soros-Funded ‘Hope Not Hate’ Alarmism After Trump UK Tweet

The hard-left group Hope Not Hate (HNH) was invited to speak on CNN, and on the BBC four times in just one day, where their activist sensationally claimed President Donald J. Trump’s retweets could cause social unrest in the UK.

The U.S. president shared footage purporting to show Islamic extremist attacks to warn of the danger of radical Islam, but due to the highly controversial source of the tweets, they have been used by the left wing media to claim “far right” extremism is the real danger.

On Thursday, CNN presenter Christiane Amanpour suggested to HNH researcher Joe Mulhall on air that the president’s retweets could “rip the fabric of British society… dangerously apart.”

Responding, he claimed that Mr. Trump’s retweets “could not have come at a worse time” as views in the UK are polarising and “something like [the president’s retweets] is only going to serve to make things much, much worse”.

“We’re just going to have hope this doesn’t have repercussions in communities and out on the group here in the UK,” Mr. Mulhall added.

CNN continued their assault on the president the following day, giving a platform to MPs who want to ban him from having a state visit to the UK. Other MPs have called for the president to be arrested and investigated by the FBI.

HNH describe themselves as an “anti-racist” group, but grew out of the Communist-linked Searchlight magazine, and have used considerable resources to attack mainstream right-wing parties like UKIP over several years.

The organisation was described as “Orwellian bigots” by leading Muslim reformer Dr. Zuhdi Jasser after they labelled liberal Muslims “Islamophobic”, exposing them to jihadist reprisal. They were also revealed by the Economist as having grossly exaggerated statistics in a report to further their agenda.

One of their most senior activists has even described their work as intentionally “dirty, underhand[ed], low down, unscrupulous”.

Despite this, they threatened to sue former UKIP leader Nigel Farage when he linked their tactics with extremism. He later said they were not violent, but HNH were forced to pay his court fees and received no apology.

Cop in court shows K-Y Jelly tube to man going to jail for shooting him: ‘Gonna need a lot of this’

The Jacksonville police officer apparently couldn’t just let the moment just slide by.

So the officer — addressing the man convicted of shooting him multiple times during a 2016 traffic stop at his sentencing Wednesday — told Kevin Rojas what he could expect in prison.

“I got a little gift for you,” the officer told Rojas before pulling out a tube of K-Y Jelly, the Florida Times-Union reported. “You’re gonna need a lot of this where you’re going little man.”

Rojas — who appeared smug in court, the paper said — was sentenced to life behind bars.

More from the Times-Union:

In March 2016, Rojas had fought with his girlfriend when he grabbed a gun, fired it a few times and suggested the day may be his last one, police said. He then took off in a car and began driving erratically.

That’s when the undercover officer who was taking his child to school decided to pull Rojas over on Collins Road near Roosevelt Boulevard, police said. When the officer took his eyes off Rojas momentarily, the 19-year-old began shooting through the windshield of the officer’s car. Three bullets hit the officer, including in the face. His son was not struck.

The officer fired back as Rojas ran away. He then stole a truck and raced back to his neighborhood, barricading himself inside his home after crashing the truck at a neighbor’s house. Rojas was shot after police officers said they saw him through the sliding-glass door pointing a gun at them. Rojas was shot in the torso, leg and hand.

“I will take those bullets instead of a fellow officer and an innocent bystander,” the officer — not named by the Times-Union because of his undercover work — said during the hearing.

He finished by adding to Rojas: “When I returned fire, and I brought the fight back, you started to run like a coward. That’s all you did is run like a coward.” Then the officer taunted Rojas with the tube of personal lubricant.

Rojas, now 21, was found guilty by a jury in October on charges of attempted first-degree murder, attempted manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, grand theft auto and fleeing, the paper said.

He was sentenced to the maximum prison sentence for each of the crimes: life plus three 15-year sentences and two five-year sentences for the lesser charges, the Times-Union reported.

The paper added that Circuit Judge James Daniel noted as he handed down the sentencing, “I’m pretty sure Mr. Rojas doesn’t understand what ‘the rest of his life’ means.”

Kate Steinle and the globalists

While most decent Americans are lamenting the fact that our court system failed Kate Steinle and her family, I can’t help but think of people like George Soros and organizations like the Center for American Progress.  How large is our fight, and how determined are our foes!

It may seem like a far-fetched connection, but it’s not.  Kate Steinle’s death and the ensuing nauseating injustice of her trial verdict are part of a much larger picture: the globalist push for open borders and mass immigration bent on destabilizing the West.  Soros is using his money and influence to make sure that destabilization happens, which will only ensure more Kate Steinles.

Kate Steinle saw no unusual behavior and heard nothing odd before she was murdered.  She was just walking leisurely on a pier with her father, a fatal walk that would end with “Help me, Dad.”  She had no idea that her imminent murder would spark a debate that wouldn’t even have been possible twenty years ago.  Twenty years ago, George Soros and Interfaith organized progressives (private or institutionalized, like the Catholic Church) hadn’t yet spent millions of dollars conditioning Americans (and the E.U.) to tear down their international borders and private boundaries – this as a prerequisite to accepting any and all immigrants.  Twenty years ago, progressives wouldn’t have posthumously mocked Steinle as “Beautiful Kate,” as they did in Slate.com – even to make a point.  While Slate claimed that Trump was exploiting Steinle, those at Slate themselves called her murder “the most convenient of tragedies.”

Slate went on to explain:

Steinle’s death … gave Trump an opening to stoke the fears of primary voters.  If “beautiful Kate in San Francisco” – a young, innocent white woman – could be murdered in cold blood by a Mexican “animal,” so could any young, innocent white woman in any town in the United States.

(It’s still disgusting to me that so many progressive outlets disapproved of calling a cold-blooded killer an “animal.”)

Slate then made the case that Steinle’s murder was Trump’s ace in the hole.  They quoted David Frum in the Atlantic saying, “Something happened in July to send Trump’s numbers soaring…that something may have been the murder of Kathryn Steinle.”

While Slate was busy resenting that “beautiful Kate” had been murdered at such a convenient time as to help Trump’s poll numbers, Matthew Vadum at Frontpagemag.com was penning the more accurate observation:

Left-wingers in San Francisco should be hanging their heads in shame after their borderline seditious, destructive immigration policies allowed an illegal alien felon to murder a young woman randomly in broad daylight.

How much more shall we say now?  Now – when defense attorney Matt Gonzalez decided to immediately thumb his nose at the U.S. attorney general, the vice president, and President Trump – by telling them:

Let me just remind them: they are themselves under investigation by a special prosecutor in Washington D.C. and they may soon avail themselves of the presumption of innocence beyond a reasonable doubt, so I ask that they reflect on that before they comment or disparage the results of this case.

From Gonzalez’s characterization, it seems to me that the Steinle verdict was payback for a Trump presidency, and setting a murderer free for political payback is such an egregious act that it’s nearly inconceivable.  But Kate Steinle is just one person, and the truth is that so many people – in so many countries – are in danger of similar payback for not submitting to globalists forcing mass immigration upon them.

Jack Montgomery at Breitbart is documenting how Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán is fighting George Soros’s Open Society Foundations’ plan to “flood the continent with an unlimited number of third-world migrants.”  Orbán “has warned that the elites plotting a United States of Europe are using mass migration to engineer a post-Christian, post-national super-state.”

Just this past October, Hungary detained a Pakistani wanted in his home country for murdering about 70 people.  This came after a tip from Austria…but how many more murderers, rapists and those bent on harm have already entered Europe and yes, the United States?  How many more are to come?

The verdict on the murder of Kate Steinle did not happen in a vacuum.  There is a globalist push for Western destruction of what Hungary’s Orbán calls “conservative values centered on country, family, and tradition.”  Hungary is holding firm in their stance against forced acceptance of unchecked migrants, and the Hungarians must have George Soros rattled, because he issued a rare rebuttal of Hungary’s policies just days ago.

The immigration war still rages across Europe and America, and only time will tell if Hungary will succeed in leading the resistance on that front.

Right now, the U.S. is heavy laden with a populace that are themselves aliens.  We are fighting an uphill battle.  President Trump said it best on the campaign trail:

American cities should be sanctuaries for law-abiding Americans, for people that look up to the law, for people that respect the law, not for criminals and gang members that we want the hell out of our country.

For now, all we can say is, “We tried, Kate.”  Yet we must also add that such a miscarriage of justice has only sharpened our seething teeth against Soros organizations and progressives across this country who are willing to legalize murder in some deluded effort to promote social justice, peace, and harmony.

Brown University To Allow Students To “Self-Identify” As A Person Of Color…

Rachel Dolezal noids in approval.

Via College Fix:

Brown University is implementing a change to its graduate school application that will allow applicants to “self-identify” as persons of color. Multiple efforts by The College Fix to clarify the details of this change were ignored by campus officials.

The policy comes as a result of complaints made by graduate students on the Graduate School advisory board that international and Asian American students are not treated as members of historically underrepresented groups by the university, according to The Brown Daily Herald.

One graduate student, Lydia Kelow-Bennett, told The Herald that this decision has led to “institutional invisibility” for these students. Brown defines historically underrepresented groups as “American Indian, Alaskan Native, African American, Hispanic or Latinx and Native Hawaiian and/or Pacific Islander.” The school’s diversity initiatives are intended to benefit members of these groups.

Brown’s criteria for historical underrepresentation “caused some students to not receive invitations to certain events, such as a multicultural student dinner,” The Herald reported.

Twitter Users Unleash #BoycottSanFrancisco As Payback For Kate Steinle Verdict

Via Washington Examiner:

Thousands of Twitter users on Friday were urging people to #BoycottSanFrancisco after a jury there decided Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, a five-time deported Mexican man charged with shooting and killing Kate Steinle, was not guilty.

The Boycott San Francisco hashtag began trending on Twitter Friday morning as people vowed not to travel there or buy goods or services produced in the city.

San Francisco is a sanctuary city, which means local law enforcement ignores federal laws that would otherwise mandate cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, on issues such as telling federal authorities when illegal immigrants are being held.

The city’s sanctuary policy came under scrutiny during the trial because it allowed Zarate to be released from jail without federal agents learning of his release, which left them unable to detain him so he could be deported for a sixth time for illegally entering the U.S.

Trump Gets ‘Last Laugh’? Michael Moore’s Anti-Trump Movie In Trouble Due To Feud With Weinsteins

According to Deadline, Michael Moore’s feud with the Weinsteins over his anti-Trump documentary, “Fahrenheit 11/9,” has the potential to get litigious — and give President Trump “the last laugh.”

Since breaking documentary box office records with his George W. Bush hit-piece “Fahrenheit 9/11,” Moore has struggled to find a topic that will get Americans to theaters. He’s been banking on his newest project, a quasi-sequel focusing on Donald Trump’s stunning electoral victory and first tumultuous year in office, to reverse his box office fortunes.

But there’s a major roadblock: The Weinsteins have control over the project and are “right now blocking Moore and his WME reps from being able to set the film with a theatrical distributor or a premium broadcast outlet,” Deadline reports.

The dispute involves Moore’s refusal to pay back the Weinsteins the over $2 million they’ve already sunk into the project because he doesn’t want to cut a check to alleged sexual predator, Harvey Weinstein. In turn, the Weinsteins are refusing to give up control of the project.

“Sources describe the crux of the dispute this way: the Weinsteins want their money back, while Moore and his WME reps want them to step aside, chalking the loss up to the price of scandal,” Deadline reports. “Moore, who blasted Harvey Weinstein after numerous women came forward in press reports, doesn’t want to pay anything because morally it would compromise his film to cut a check to a man he considers a sexual predator, sources said.”

Moore insists the Weinsteins should accept the financial loss as just an unfortunate fallout from the scandal and step aside so he can finish the project. “After all, blocking the film from release would give the last laugh to Trump, whom Weinstein campaigned against in the last presidential election when he backed Hillary Clinton, before the Democratic Party cut all ties with him following the scandal,” Deadline notes.

If the impasse results in a lawsuit, Deadline suggests Moore will likely allege fraud against Harvey Weinstein for entering into the deal while knowing he was being investigated for sexual misconduct.

Rush Limbaugh Brilliantly Explains Why Flynn’s Guilty Plea Shows Mueller Has NOTHING on Trump (AUDIO)

Rush Limbaugh Brilliantly Explains Why Flynn’s Guilty Plea Shows Mueller Has NOTHING on Trump (AUDIO)

Nationally-syndicated talk show host Rush Limbaugh took the to airwaves Friday to brilliantly explain why Michael Flynn’s guilty plea shows special counsel Robert Mueller has nothing on President Trump.

Audio credit: DailyRushbo

“Speculation of Flynn now cooperating with Mueller’s investigation stirred in recent days due to reports that Flynn had pulled out of a join defense agreement or common interest arrangement to share information with other subjects of the investigation,” said Limbaugh

“But there is nothing unusual about that. Once again, the lack of understanding by the drive-by media reporters — oh — Flynn’s pulling out of the joint agreement to share information, that means he’s getting ready to flip.”

“No, it meant he was getting ready to make a deal with the prosecutor, as such, it becomes unethical for the two lawyers or teams to communicate with each other when one of the people involved is going to cop a plea,” Limbaugh said.

“There was nothing unusual about this, and didn’t mean anything other than Flynn was getting close to make a deal,”

Limbaugh then expertly explains why Flynn’s guilty plea is nowhere near are damaging as the mainstream media would like people to believe.

“This is a key point now,” Limbaugh begins, “When the prosecutor, Mueller, has a cooperator, Flynn, who was an accomplice in a major criminal scheme — a cooperator, Flynn, is made to plead guilty to the scheme.”

“This is critical because pleading guilty to the scheme proves the existence of a criminal conspiracy.”

“And then,” Limbaugh added, “when the perp allocutes, like tells the judge what he did, the accomplice, Flynn, explains the scheme and the actions taken by himself and his co-conspirators  to carry out the scheme.”

“This goes a long way to proving the case.”

“You have a perp pleading guilty to a scheme that he was part of and then explains the scheme and all the other people involved.”

Arriving to his main point, Limbaugh says “That’s not what happened here today!”

“Flynn did not plead guilty to a scheme!”

“He pleaded guilty to a process crime.”

“Mueller does not have proof of a scheme,” said Limbaugh.

The talk show host then concludes the segment by saying the Flynn’s plea ultimately shows Mueller have no proof of collusion between the Trump team and Russia.

On Friday, Michael Flynn plead guilty to lying to FBI agents about making contact with Russian Ambassador Kislyak during the transition period.

Trump’s visit to Britain reportedly canceled over his Muslim tweets

A visit from President Trump to England has been reportedly cancelled because of the controversy arising from tweets he posted on his official social media account.

What was the visit that was cancelled?

According to The Telegraph, a visit was planned for Trump to attend the opening of a new U.S. embassy in London during January, but that has been dropped with no replacement date scheduled.

“The idea of a visit has obviously been floated, but not December and not January,” a senior U.S. diplomat told the Telegraph. “I would not expect a Trump visit in January.”

What were the controversial tweets?

Trump started a firestorm when he retweeted videos from an account pushing far right extremist views. The videos showed violent attacks from Muslims, but with misleading descriptions about what the videos showed.

What did the British say about them?

British Prime Minister Theresa May criticized the president for reposting messages from the “Britain First” account, an organization she called “hateful.”

“British people overwhelmingly reject the prejudiced rhetoric of the far-right which is the antithesis of the values that this country represents: decency, tolerance and respect,” her statement read.

Other prominent British politicians also called for the visit to be cancelled because of the tweets they saw as unnecessarily provocative.

How did Trump respond?

The president took to his twitter account to respond to May, advising her to “focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom” rather than criticize him.

Leftist Nut Threatens To Kill GOP Congressman And His Family Over Net Neutrality

Islam is the religion of peace, liberals respect women, and leftists are peaceful resisters. These fairy tales are brought to you by the Democratic Party, which at this point is an entire political apparatus based on the notion of “Opposite Day.” A lefty from New York has threatened to kill a Republican Congressman and his entire family over net neutrality, which easily qualifies as the craziest thing a liberal has done all week. And speaking of crazy, wait till you get a load of what this kook actually said.

The Democrat & Chronicle reports:

A Syracuse man is accused of threatening to kill a congressman and his family if he didn’t support net neutrality…

Patrick D. Angelo, 28, of Syracuse was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with interstate communication of a threat and threatening a federal official…

…Angelo allegedly called the Washington, D.C., office of Congressman John Katko, R-Camillus, on Oct. 17 and left a threatening voicemail that included a death threat to Katko and his family if the congressman didn’t support net neutrality.

Okay, now check out the message this guy left for the New York Congressman:

“Listen Mr. Katko, if you support net neutrality, I will support you. But if you don’t support net neutrality, I will find you and your family and I will kill … you … all. Do you understand?” Angelo said.

So far it’s pretty bad with that death threat and all, but it gets much worser:

‘I will literally find all … of … you and your progeny and t- (sic) just wipe you from the face of the Earth. Net neutrality is more important than the defense of the United States. Net neutrality is more important than free speech. Net neutrality is more important than health care. Net neutrality is literally the basis of the new society. That even if you don’t understand, how important it is, net neutrality is literally the basis of the new … free … society. So if you don’t support it, I am willing to lay down my [life], said Angelo.

Take away the death threats, and this could sound like a Twitter rant from Alyssa Milano. I’m serious, take a gander at her recent net neutrality tweet storm.

Wow, this insaniac thinks that the government regulating an industry and stifling innovation is very important, doesn’t he? He is however a little confused about what a death threat is. When you threaten to kill others in a non-combat situation, you are not laying down your life, you’re trying to lay others down.

The only thing missing from this article is whether Patrick Angelo is a Hillary Clinton supporter or a Bernie Bro. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if he was the Bernie Sanders 2106 presidential campaign social media director. And before anyone accuses me of falsely assuming this guy is a liberal, I invite you to re-read his words and tell me this crazy mofo has a conservative bone in his body.

If convicted, Angelo faces 10 years in the slammer, where he presumably will have limited Internet access. I don’t know if that is irony, but it’s definitely funny.
