Ten Countries Said To Be In Talks To Move Embassies To Jerusalem

TEL AVIV — At least ten countries are in talks with Israel to move their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said on Monday.

The deputy minister’s comment, in an interview with Israel Radio, was made after Guatemala announced that it would move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Hotovely did not name which ten countries she was speaking of, according to the Times of Israel.

According to a report by Channel 10, one of the next countries is likely to be Honduras, a state with which Israel has close economic ties.

Israel and Honduras have been cultivating a flourishing bilateral relationship over the past few years. Last year, the two countries signed an accord under which Israel agreed to enhance the Central American country’s armed forces in an unprecedented way in order to fight organized crime.

The Honduran President, Juan Orlando Hernandez, who was reelected earlier this month in a hotly disputed election, is a graduate of MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, and he has spent time in the country.

Along with Guatemala, Honduras was one of nine nations that voted “no” with the United States when the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution denouncing Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem.

Other countries reportedly in talks to move their embassies are South America’s Paraguay and the west African nation of Togo. The Czech Republic has also recognized West Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Russia did the same in April.

Report: ‘High-Level’ Amazon and Microsoft Directors Face Charges Following Sex Trafficking Sting

Report: ‘High-Level’ Amazon and Microsoft Directors Face Charges Following Prostitution Sting

“High-level Amazon and Microsoft directors” face charges following a sex trafficking sting that was based on emails sent to brothels.

According to Engadget, Newsweek “got its hands on a slew of emails sent to brothels and pimps between 2014 and 2016 that document the industry’s patronage of brothels and purchasing of services from trafficked sex workers.”

“Among the emails, which were obtained through a public records request to the King County Prosecutor’s Office, were 67 sent from Microsoft employee email accounts, 63 from Amazon accounts and dozens more from companies like Boeing, T-Mobile, Oracle and local Seattle tech firms,” the report claims. “Some of the emails were collected during a 2015 sting operation that targeted sex worker review boards and resulted in the arrest of 18 individuals, including high-level Amazon and Microsoft directors. Two opted for a trial, which is currently set to begin in March.”

The revelation that Amazon and Microsoft directors were implicated in the sting prompted the two companies to release statements condemning sex trafficking.

“Microsoft has a long history of cooperating with law enforcement and other agencies on combating sex trafficking and related topics, and we have employees who volunteer their time and money specifically to combat this issue as well. The personal conduct of a tiny fraction of our 125,000 employees does not in any way represent our culture,” declared Microsoft. “No organization is immune to the unfortunate situation when employees act unethically or illegally. When that happens, we look into the conduct and take appropriate action. Microsoft makes it clear to our employees they have a responsibility to act with integrity and conduct themselves in a legal and ethical manner at all times. If they don’t, they risk losing their jobs.”

In Amazon’s statement, the company pointed out that paying for sex was against their employee policy.

“Amazon’s Owner’s Manual clearly states that, ‘It is against Amazon’s policy for any employee or Contingent Worker to engage in any sex buying activities of any kind in Amazon’s workplace or in any work-related setting outside of the workplace, such as during business trips, business meetings or business-related social events,’” the online retailer proclaimed. “When Amazon suspects that an employee has used company funds or resources to engage in criminal conduct, the company will immediately investigate and take appropriate action up to and including termination. The company may also refer the matter to law enforcement.”

Several emails sent from tech company employees via their work addresses simply replied, “I think you might have the wrong email address,” which Newsweek explained is common to verify the identity of a first-time buyer.

“They were on their work accounts because Seattle pimps routinely asked first-time sex-buyers to prove they were not cops by sending an employee email or badge,” Newsweek claimed, adding that the prostitutes were predominantly Asian and had sex with between 5 and 15 men a day.

Even Dictionary.com Is Getting Political, Takes Cheap Jab at Mike Pence

It seems like these days, every company, every website, every cultural icon has to give its political opinion. Now, even Dictionary.com has jumped into the political mud-slinging. And who else would they side with other than liberals?

Now, they are taking cheap jabs at Vice President Mike Pence on Twitter.

When the GOP and President Donald Trump passed the tax bill before Christmas, Pence took the opportunity to praise his boss.

The Washington Post, however, thought it was too much, and made fun of the vice president.

TRENDING: Cali Gov Says “Nature Is Not Political,” Then Blames Trump for Fires

Then Dictionary.com decided to get in on the Pence-bashing.

Just so you know, a “sycophant” is “a self-seeking, servile flatterer; fawning parasite.”

Yes. Dictionary.com literally called the vice president a parasitic flatterer.

Of course, Pence is such a “parasite” that when this tweet went out, he was in Afghanistan, hanging out with U.S. troops for the holidays. Yeah, that sounds like a parasite to me.

Sheesh.

Of course, Vice President Joe Biden NEVER praised Barack Obama, right? Oh, except for when he was so giddy when Obama was signing his “ObamaCare” bill and said, “This is a big f***ing deal.”

And then, remember how much the media absolutely adored Obama? How about when Chris Matthews said he felt a “thrill” going up his leg in 2008, just hearing then-candidate Obama speak?

RELATED: Scarborough Trashes Haley’s Tough Speech to UN, Forgets He Pushed Bill to Leave UN

Honestly, it’s the liberal media that’s the”fawning parasite” in U.S. politics. Not Vice President Pence.

Luckily, Twitter users noticed the hypocrisy.

This attempt to bash Pence was cheap, to say these least. But these days, Republican-bashing seems to be the norm, and I don’t see it letting up any time soon.

The bias in the media is sickening at times, but that’s why we’re here.

We see what the media is doing and will call out the bias every time.

Detroit Toy Giveaway Turns Deadly as Thug Mom Pulls Knife

A toy giveaway sounds like a lot of fun at Christmas time, but one woman’s action turned a toy giveaway in Detroit into something out of a horror movie.

According to WDIV, the unnamed mother reportedly pulled out a knife while waiting in line during a Christmas toy giveaway function

“A 39-year-old woman was arrested after pulling a knife on someone during a fight,” reported local station WDIV. “No one was hurt, but this happened in front of her children, so Detroit police had to take them back to the precinct and try to find other family members.”

What this woman did is wrong, her behavior was that of a street thug, and she must be punished accordingly.

Innocent people — innocent children lined up for a toy at Christmas — could have been hurt because of her.

TRENDING: Cali Gov Says “Nature Is Not Political,” Then Blames Trump for Fires

That said, based on WDIV’s description of the event, I genuinely feel sorry for the woman. Let me explain why.

Hosted at Detroit’s Tower Center Mall, the giveaway was part of a months-long program called Toys Making I.M.P.A.C.T.S. that allowed families to request free toys for their children.

When the doors opened at 4 p.m. on Saturday, about 6,000 children had already been signed up. The problem is that way more families showed up than had actually registered, leading to huge crowds and one heck of a line.

“Unfortunately, it takes longer, people get a little impatient,” said event sponsor Dr. Princess Odilia. “Detroit has a tremendous need for help in our community. As a result, you have this type of response.”

“I’ve been waiting for about five hours in the cold with my kids,” added Nicole Russell, one of the many mothers who showed up to Saturday in the hopes of getting their kids some gifts.

During the ruckus that ensued, one mother completely snapped and began threatening those around her. Watch local news coverage below from station WXYZ to see interviews with some of the bystanders who were present when the altercation occurred:

“People are already under a lot of stress and tension this time of the year,” said event organizer John Cromer. “All it takes is for some people to step on somebody’s shoe or to bump into somebody the wrong way, and then a fight ensues.”

RELATED: Girl Asks Santa to Heal Cousin of Leukemia, Then He Asks the Real Gift Giver

“I want to tell you that has nothing to do with Toys Making  I.M.P.A.C.T.S.,”  he added.

Not everyone who attended the event felt that way, though.

“The fact that they didn’t have everything organized … everybody was pushing and shoving,” said mother Veronica Tims, who witnessed the fight. “It was probably overpacked.”

That doesn’t excuse the use of potentially deadly force, of course, but it might, at least, privde a hint of an extenuating circumstance in this case.

If nothing else, this story should serve as a reminder to those of us who were able to afford gifts for our kids to be grateful for the blessings in our lives. We all struggle, but some clearly struggle more than others.

Mattis Gave Christmas Message to Gitmo, Something We Haven’t Heard in Years

Defense Secretary James Mattis made a surprise visit to the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, on Thursday and gave troops the kind of pep talk we have not heard in years.

The visit was not a political one, as the defense secretary did not inspect the facilities nor did he discuss policies.

He simply wanted to boost morale and let soldiers know how much he appreciated them.

Mattis said the main goal of his trip was to bring the troops a little Christmas cheer, The Associated Press reported.

When speaking to several hundred troops at the facility, Mattis stressed the importance of keeping Gitmo running.

TRENDING: Watch: Kayaker Catches $100,000 Wreck on Video

“We need this base badly,” he said, according to the AP. He added that regardless of the future of the controversial detention center, the Pentagon would not abandon the base.

Mattis, the first defense secretary to visit Guantamano Bay since 2002, defended the way prisoners have been treated at the facility, which has often been criticized in the American and international media from the day it started accepting prisoners from the U.S. war on terror.

But Mattis had no criticisms Thursday. Instead, he encouraged the troops.

“I am confident that we’re doing the right thing here,” he told the soldiers, according to the AP.

Currently, 41 detainees remain at Guantanamo Bay including 26 “forever prisoners,” deemed too dangerous to release.

“I need you to be at the top of your game,” Mattis added, when speaking about the possibility of war.

“Mad Dog” Mattis even had a little fun with the troops, telling them he did not have stress, he created it.

RELATED: The Big Three: Trump, Mattis, Pence Leave DC for Separate Surprise Visits

All kidding aside, this is the kind of resolve we need in order to win the war of terror.

We have not heard the kind of message in years, but it is the exactly what our troops need to hear. After the Barack Obama presidency, they need to know they have a president and an administration that is behind them.

Obama tried to please his liberal base — at home and abroad — by scaling down the country’s involvement in all areas of fighting terror, and we were losing the war because of it.

Thankfully, we do not have to worry about the Trump administration turning a blind eye to terrorism.

WATCH: Formula One Driver Under Fire For Telling Nephew ‘Boys Don’t Wear Princess Dresses!’

Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is on the receiving end of internet leftists’ wrath for telling his young nephew that “boys don’t wear princess dresses.”

Hamilton recently posted a video of his nephew dressed in full-on princess attire, apparently after receiving the dress, shoes and accessories as Christmas gifts. “I’m so sad right now. Look at my nephew,” the driver starts the video, camera pointed to himself.

“Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas?” Hamilton asks the boy.

The young boy giggles in delight and shakes his head yes in response to this famous uncle.

“Boys don’t wear princess dresses!” exclaims Hamilton.

WATCH:

Now, when watching the video post, it seems clear that Hamilton is speaking to his nephew in a playful tone. This was, however, lost on leftists who love to showcase their Moral Goodness by indulging in peals of Internet outrage. Thus, the keyboard warriors went to town:

Let’s say the joyless Left is correct insofar as Hamilton is being serious (he’s not) as opposed to playful. It would be completely appropriate for Hamilton to help guide a youth close to him who might to confused about gender. Heck, it would be the responsible thing to do. While this might be a harmless phase, if the young boy does not receive the proper guidance, his confusion could compound.

Why in the world would we want to guide a child to a potential life of gender confusion?

The outrage in this instance should not be directed at Hamilton, but to those on the Left working to dismantle the traditional understanding of gender (the expression of sex the male and female sex), particularly within impressionable youths.

Democratic Congressional Candidate Indicted For Fraud And Theft

The democrats plan to retake the House in 2018 just took another hit. They’ve already lost some of their “top-tier” challengers to the pervalanche and now one of their rising stars in Virginia is looking at a federal fraud indictment. Don’t worry though, this particular candidate is black and she assures us that this is a matter of racial discrimination.

Democrat Shaun Brown is running against Republican incumbent Scott Taylor for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional district seat. Sure, she ran against him in 2016 and lost by 23 points, but this time she’s has a campaign with much better financing. More on that in a second.

The Daily Press reports however, that her 2018 campaign may have a few problems. A federal grand jury indicted her on charges of fraud and theft of government property. It seems that she runs a program with her mother that feeds children and/or steals money from the federal government:

The indictment alleges that Brown and others with JOBS Community Outreach Development Corp. filed fraudulent claims with the Summer Food Service Program in 2012, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said.

The indictment says that Brown directed JOBS staff to inflate the number of children actually fed and to falsify documents in order to obtain additional money, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

She has been charged with wire fraud and theft of government property, and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison if convicted.

For her part, Brown says that the USDA is discriminating against her and her mother, presumably because they are black. She has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the government agency and her biggest piece of proof the feds are involved in racism is because they wouldn’t reimburse her when she spent $625,000 to purchase a restaurant. Those racist bastards!

Actually the USDA had listed Brown’s organization as a “high risk auditee” because even a bloated government bureaucracy recognizes bullshit when they see it.

Brown’s lawyer thinks the federal indictment is retaliation for her lawsuit against the USDA, calling the the timing of the charges “unusual.”

“And why would they do this right before Christmas?” asked the lawyer.

Yeah, because everyone gets a free pass for fraud and theft over Christmas, right? Is Brown and her lawyer accusing the government of being a part of the war on Christmas over these indictments? Actually, that’s smart. If the race card doesn’t work, they can always play the religion card, though it would be more effective if she were a Muslim.

Back to Brown’s campaign to steal a House seat away from the Republicans. In her FEC filing it shows that she had raised $713,491 by the end of October. That’s not bad, but it turns out only $2,750 came from outside sources and the rest was from her. Yup, she gave herself $710,741. Gee, I wonder where that money came from. Even stranger is that her campaign reports no cash on hand. I have a feeling there may be even more indictments headed Brown’s way.

Brown is actually the perfect democrat. She’s really good a taking other people’s money and wasting it on bullshit and she blames all of her self-inflicted problems on discrimination. If she can beat the federal charges and overcome a 23-point hole, she should be a welcomed asset to the Democratic Party.

Lorde Facing Backlash For Cancelling Israel Show

The famed pop singer Lorde is facing a backlash following her decision to cancel her show in Tel Aviv, Israel, after numerous fans accused her of endorsing the country’s occupation of Palestine.

Shortly after announcing that she would play in Tel Aviv, as well as St. Petersburg, Russia, people hit at Lorde with ferocity on Twitter:

Lorde eventually caved to the pressure and announced that she would not be playing:

Fortunately, singling out the Jews for a boycott does not go over so well with other artists and industry executives, who have since launched their own “anti-boycott” as a response.

According to Deadline, a press release from the Creative Community for Peace says members of the organization are “deeply disappointed that Lorde canceled her show in Tel Aviv after receiving pressure from the radical boycott Israel movement. Artists should never become beholden to the political views of a small but loud minority.”

The Creative Community for Peace then states that the movement to shame artists who play in Israel is a “political movement ultimately aiming to extinguish the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people rather than a movement for human rights.”

While Lorde joins Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters as one of many artists boycotting Israel, other artists like Radiohead, Nick Cave, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake have not caved to the pressure.

WAPO Republishes Old ‘Jesus Isn’t Real’ Piece On Christmas

The Washington Post has a special disdain for Christmas. Not only did the publication attack the Virgin Mary during the season of Advent, they also published a hit-piece gas-lighting Christians over the very existence of Christ.

The paper published their “Jesus isn’t real” piece way back in 2014; for some reason – perhaps to start their own holiday tradition – WaPo decided to republish the piece on Christmas 2017.

The article reads little as a historical treatise and more as a jab at Christians for believing in Christ at all.

Here’s how the author Raphael Lataster frames those who promote the idea of a “historical Jesus”: “Numerous secular scholars have presented their own versions of the so-called “Historical Jesus” – and most of them are, as biblical scholar J.D. Crossan puts it, ‘an academic embarrassment.'”

The rest of the piece attacks the Gospels, using arguments that could have been copy and pasted out of a Richard Dawkins pamphlet. We’ve heard them all: the Gospels were written long after Christ’s death, not all the authors identify themselves and only a few secular sources affirmed Christ’s existence.

Lataster mentions nothing about the fact that more historical evidence exists for Jesus than for Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle. He also makes no mention of the fact that Christ’s apostles were all-too-eager to die horrific deaths for what he calls an “invented” belief.

Worse still, the republished article was already skewered as counter-factual, after its first publication, by Lataster’s own “history of Jesus” lecturer.

After WaPo republished the piece and shared it on their Twitter account on Christmas, people quickly took notice and labeled it a cruel gesture.

Publisher of Encounter books and author Roger Kimball said the tweet shows “Really, all you need to know about that pathetic publication.” James Woods tweeted, “Why is this necessary today? Why insult people of a certain faith on the day they most cherish? It’s not a matter of being right or wrong, it’s a matter of simple courtesy. #Rude”.

Report Claims Taxpayers Have Paid $1.5 MILLION In Senate ‘Workplace Harassment’ Settlements

The United States Senate has paid out more than $1.5 million in “workplace harassment” settlements – including sexual harassment settlements – since 1998, according to a report released by the Senate Rules and Administration Committee over the holiday weekend.

The Senate had been reticent to release any actual figures on how much taxpayers have doled out over their members’ bad behavior, but the small regulations body chaired by Sen. Richard Shelby allowed the public to get a closer glimpse at Senate records while most of the country was busy celebrating Christmas.

According to the report, which is sparse on details, the Rules and Administration Committee has settled “dozens” of individual complaints in the last two decades, paying out $1.5 million – significant, but nowhere near the $15 million Rep. Jackie Speier claims has been doled out to victims from the House of Representatives’s coffers. Six hundred thousand of that total came from individual Senate offices. “Other Senate offices,” like committee and caucus bodies, paid out $850,000.

Most of the complaints aren’t sexual harassment allegations – they’re racial discrimination complaints. The Daily Caller reports that the individual statistics show violations of the “Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act,” as well as age discrimination.

The Senate Rules and Administration Committee, unlike the House does not keep detailed records of each payout, so the information available is only general; there are no names, dates, addresses, or even individual check amounts listed in the newly public information.
