Mom-Daughter Drone Duo Is Headed For Jail
A mother-daughter duo who used a $4000 drone to drop a package of contraband behind the walls of a Florida prison will themselves serve time as a result of a felony plea deal struck with prosecutors, court records show.
Cassandra Kerr, 40, and Concetta Didiano, 22, this week each entered no contest pleas to introducing contraband into a state correctional institution, a felony carrying a maximum of five years in prison.
As part of a plea deal, Kerr and Didiano (pictured above) are expected to each receive six months in jail when they are sentenced in late-July. The pair will also have to pay court and prosecution costs, according to plea forms.
Kerr and Didiano were arrested in mid-December, shortly after Martin Correctional Institution (MCI) staffers spotted a drone hovering over the facility around 2 AM.
Jailers were suspicious that the drone was “possibly delivering a package to the rooftop of one of the inmate housing facilities.

Man sues parents over trashed porn collection
A man now living in Indiana is suing his parents after he says they destroyed his valuable porn collection.
FOX 17 is choosing to identify the plaintiff in this story as “Charlie,” as this is a civil case without any associated criminal charges.
The case dates back to October 2016 when, according to a lawsuit filed this week, Charlie moved into his parents’ home in Grand Haven after going through a divorce from his wife. Charlie apparently stayed for 10 months in their home, doing housework in lieu of paying rent. He was asked to leave after police had to be called to the house in August of 2017 for a domestic situation.
His parents allegedly traveled in November 2017 to his new place in Indiana to drop off possessions he had left at their home.
Allegedly missing from the items they brought: Charlie’s massive pornography collection.
Charlie says his parents told him that they destroyed the entire collection. A collection that consisted of over 12 moving boxes full of movies.

Australia wants to kill millions of feral cats by airdropping poisonous sausages
The Australian government wants to rid the country of 2 million feral cats by 2020 through airdropping poisonous sausages, shooting and trapping, and other controversial practices.
The government first announced its plan to kill two million cats by next year back in 2015 in a statement that has recently received notice, citing concerns for the nation’s native species and labelling feral cats as one of the “key threats” to the country’s biodiversity.
“Through our commitment to take decisive action on feral cats and other invasive species, we will significantly reduce the impact of feral predators and increase the resilience of our native species,” the government continued in its “Threatened Species Strategy” plan.
The first believed cats’ arrival to country occurred around the 1700s, according to CNN. Since that time, the government said, over “130 of Australia’s known species have become extinct, lost to us and to the world forever.” There are reportedly anywhere between 2 to 6 million feral cats estimated to be in Australia.

Do NOT put garlic in your vagina: Top gynecologist warns women
A gynecologist has urged women to not put garlic in their vagina to treat yeast infections.
Dr. Jen Gunter, based in California, went on a Twitter rant about the old wives’ tale, which recommends putting a clove inside the vagina for up to three days.
There are no studies to support the claim garlic has antifungal properties – apart from in a petri dish – and it could be a serious risk for further infections, Dr Gunter said.
The vagina is the ‘perfect’ environment for the botulism bacteria to grow, which can be life-threatening and lead to paralysis.
It’s not the first time doctors have busted similar myths, including one claiming parsley in the vagina can induce periods.
