Aging Brit Punker Morrissey Claims He’d Kill Trump for Sake of Humanity

Trump Derangement Syndrome doesn’t stop at the shoreline and a virulent strain of the mental disorder that has been waging war on the minds of liberals has emerged across the pond.

One of those who has been stricken is aging former punker and pop star Steven Patrick Morrissey aka Morrissey whose long career began with the 1980’s band The Smiths. An unabashed leftist, suspected pole-smoker, militant animal rights activist and Trump hater gave an interview to the German magazine Der Spiegel in which he had some provocative words for the legitimately elected President of the United States.

Mr. Morrissey stated that he would kill Trump for the “sake of humanity” whatever that may mean. He also defended American liberal sex perverts and predators Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey among others.

Via the Washington Free Beacon “Morrissey: I Would Kill Trump ‘For the Safety of Humanity’”:

In an interview with Der Spiegel, British pop star Morrissey defended Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, compared meat consumption to the Holocaust,  and said he’d press a button to kill President Donald Trump.

“If there was a button here and if you pressed on it, Trump would die … would you push it or not?” Der Spiegel asked Morrissey.

“I would, for the safety of humanity. It has nothing to do with my personal opinion of his face or his family, but in the interest of humanity I would push,” Morrissey responded.

The pop star also slammed the American media and said they were helping Trump.

“Whether they criticize him or laugh at him, he does not care, he just wants to see his picture and his name,” he said. “The American media have shot themselves in the leg.”

Trump “has exhausted the world,” Morrissey added. “He grabs after everything like a little child. He is not a leader. He is vermin.”

Morrissey also claimed Berlin, Germany is the “rape capital of the world” because of its “open borders,” and argued eating meat is comparable to the Holocaust.

“If you allow the slaughterhouse to continue, you say: The Holocaust is great. Auschwitz was fantastic. Let us continue. It is exactly the same,” he said.

In recent interview with the Sunday Times, Morrissey repeated his defense of Weinstein and Spacey.

“I hate rape, I hate assault, I hate people being forced into a sexual situation,” he said. “But in quite a few cases, you look at the situation and think that the people being described as victims are simply disappointed. In the whole history of Rock ‘n’ Roll there’ve been musicians who’ve slept with groupies. If you go through the history, almost everyone is guilty of sleeping with minors. Why don’t we throw everyone in jail?”

Normally a foofy celebrity running off at the mouth would be of little concern but at a time when CNN is spreading anti-American sentiment and ISIS is putting out propaganda that they plan to strike Times Square on New Years it really isn’t helping matters when musicians with a huge following suggest that it’s perfectly acceptable to assassinate world leaders.

Isn’t making this sort of statement illegal? Perhaps someone should give INTERPOL a ring.
