On Monday Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway (D) cited the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy and demanded that the NRA cancel its upcoming convention.

The convention is scheduled to take place in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

Mayor Pro Tem Caraway spoke Monday about the scheduled NRA convention. Fox 4 reported that he framed his demand that the NRA pull out by pointing to JFK’s assassination, then pivoting to the July 7, 2016, fatal ambush of five Dallas police officers, the Florida school shooting, and November 2017 murder of a 27-year-old mother of six in the city, allegedly at the hands of a 15-year-old.

Caraway said:

Gun violence has played a significant part in Dallas’ historical past from the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to the five Dallas Police officers gunned down in July 2016 to the brutal murder of a mother of six children in District 4 this past Christmas. It is time to put the heat on the NRA and demand that they work with elected officials in our country to establish gun laws that protect our children and keep our communities safe.  We have got to take on the NRA.

CBS DFW reports that Caraway also said, “We have got to take on the NRA. I am all for the protection of the 2nd Amendment but I am also for protecting the children and a safer Dallas. We must get rid of these assault weapons to protect the children and we must do something now.”

The NRA held its Annual Meetings and Exposition convention in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2016. The Courier-Journal reported that the city enjoyed a “$53 million economic impact” from the convention and 80,000 attendees.

Prosecutors in Montgomery County, Maryland, charged a known MS-13 leader for ordering the beating of a 15-year-old girl with a baseball bat who had been forced into prostitution. Two other Salvadoran nationals are also named in the case.

Law enforcement officials said that Miguel Angel “Noctorno” Ayala-Rivera, a 24-year-old MS-13 member who illegally entered the U.S. from El Salvador, ordered his fellow gang members to beat a 15-year-old girl with a baseball bat. “Noctorno” reportedly pimped out the victim along with other underage girls, the Daily Mail reported from Montgomery County court records.

Police have also charged Yervin Josue Romero-Rivera, a 21-year-old illegal immigrant, and 20-year-old Alexis Pena-Rodriguez in the case.

According to a law enforcement source, “Nocturno” and his two fellow MS-13 members dragged the teenage girl into the backyard of their Kensington, Maryland, hideout. “Noctorno” and four other men took turns beating her with a baseball bat, the news outlet reported. She received a total of 28 blows on various locations on her body. Records indicate she suffered an “indented” buttocks, discolored arms and legs, and visible bleeding from her neck-down.

Court records state that a second source told police that “Noctorno” ordered her beating because she was “not doing a good job as an MS-13 prostitute.”

Police uncovered the beating of the teenage sex trafficking victim while investigating the gang members following their arrest for an alleged series of armed robberies in Maryland and Washington, DC.  They reportedly stormed into numerous check cashing stores armed with handguns and would demand cash. Records indicate the men would often conceal their faces.

Police recovered a modified TEC-9 pistol in the front seat of a van the men were driving following an alleged robbery in Silver Spring, Maryland. The arrest followed a high-speed pursuit where one of the suspects died after being struck by a police car as he attempted to flee on foot.

Breitbart Texas reached out to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials for more information about the suspects’ immigration history. No response was immediately available.

WJLA ABC7 in Washington, DC, reported that MS-13 violence has increased substantially over the past five years. This period coincides with the influx of Central American Unaccompanied Alien Children and Family Unit aliens first reported by Breitbart Texas editor-in-chief, Brandon Darby.

During an international sweep of MS-13 gang members in November 2017, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Tom Homan stated that almost one-third of the 214 U.S.-based MS-13 gang members arrested during Operation Raging Bull had entered the U.S. as Unaccompanied Alien Children, Breitbart News’ Ian Mason reported.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw also attributed the increase in MS-13 gang violence in Texas to the influx of Unaccompanied Alien Children, Breitbart Texas reported. Their comments came during the announcement of a gang task force operation in Houston that Abbott said would make the city “hostile territory for gangs.”

Officials in Louisiana charged an illegal immigrant from Mexico with raping a 7-year-old girl over a period of six months. Less than three weeks later, prosecutors charged the man with molesting the child’s mother in 2003 when she was only 11-years-old.

The 43-year-old Mexican national, Daniel Hernandez Del Angel, has been illegally living in the country for the last 22 years, reported WGNO in Metairie, Louisiana.

Officers with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office started to investigate Del Angel in early 2017 when the allegations about raping the 7-year-old girl surfaced.

According to the ABC affiliate in Louisiana, police arrested the illegal immigrant on January 25 and charged him with first-degree rape and molestation of a juvenile.

Less than three weeks later, prosecutors charged Del Angel with sexually assaulting the girl’s mother in 2003 when she was only 11-years-old. The alleged sexual molestation occurred at least two times.

Bossier Parish law enforcement authorities told the ABC affiliate that the illegal immigrant has known the victims’ family for at least 20 years.

Del Angel is in custody in the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a $550,000 bond. Louisiana officials are cooperating U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Breitbart continues to report about criminal illegal immigrants who unlawfully re-enter the country after deportation. Many are sex offenders.

A week ago, Breitbart Texas reported that two previously deported criminal aliens, one convicted of aggravated sexual assault, and the other for drug trafficking, were again convicted of unlawful re-entry after removal. A federal judge sentenced them to 30 and 27 months of federal prison time, respectively. Border Patrol agents arrested them last summer after they illegally re-entered.

In November 2017, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Tucson Sector arrested two previously deported child sex offenders and a member of the Sureño 13 street gang. During a background investigation, the agents learned that 34-year-old Abigael Calvo-Calvo, a Mexican national, has a criminal history that includes a conviction in San Mateo County, California, for “Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child Under 14.” The conviction occurred in 2012.

Earlier in November, Border Patrol Agents in Texas and Arizona stopped more previously deported sex offenders from illegally re-entering the U.S. The arrests included two criminal aliens with histories of sex crimes against children – including sexual assault of a child, and Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child Under 14.

Calvo-Calvo now faces new criminal charges for felony re-entry after being deported as a registered sex offender.

Recently, Breitbart Texas reported that agents in the same sector in Arizona arrested a previously deported child sex offender after he illegally crossed from Mexico. In a separate incident, agents arrested a previously deported man with a felony conviction for child abuse. Border Patrol agents conducted a biometric background investigation and records revealed that a Las Vegas, Nevada, court previously convicted the Mexican national, 41-year-old Angel Bautista-Sanchez, for “lewd or lascivious acts with a minor.” Following his 2013 conviction, immigration officers deported the criminal alien.

Bautista now faces federal felony charges of aggravated re-entry after being removed as a sex offender.

Viktor Orbán has called for patriotic EU allies to join Hungary in its fight against the globalist war on nation states which would see the West fall.

“Dark clouds are gathering over Europe because of immigration,” the conservative prime minister warned an audience in Budapest on Sunday, at the nation’s annual state of the union address.

“Nations will cease to exist, the West will fall, while Europe won’t even realise that it has been invaded,” he said, declaring that “Christianity is Europe’s last hope” against rising “Islamisation” taking place on the continent.

“Absurd as it may sound, the danger we face comes from the West, from politicians in Brussels, Berlin and Paris,” he said, stating that liberal politicians who “opened the way for the decline of Christian culture” in Europe are determined “to force Hungary to adopt their policies that have made them immigrant countries”.

“Hungary will only express solidarity with Western European leaders who want to rescue their country and its Christian culture,” said Orbán, slamming repeated demands from Brussels that unwilling nations be forced to take a share of third world migrants arriving to the bloc.

“We are not alone,” the prime minister added, pointing to governments in the fellow Visegrád nations of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, which stand with Hungary in rejecting the quotas, and praising Austria, Bavaria in Germany, and Croatia for “turning in a patriotic direction”.

“We will fight together to stop Soros’s plan in Brussels and the United Nations, ” Orbán said, accusing the globalist financier of using his vast wealth to buy influence not only in Brussels — where his Open Society Foundations lists almost a third of MEPs as “reliable allies” — but also at the United Nations (UN), proposals of which seek to normalise mass migration.

“If we have enough allies – and we can have enough allies – then I am sure we’ll succeed,” he told supporters.

“We will not remain silent and watch the execution of the Soros Plan: if need be, we will make use of stronger legal tools,” continued Orbán, highlighting the “Stop Soros” legislative package his government presented to parliament last week, which could see open borders NGOs assisting illegal migration taxed to provide funds for border protection.

“If they do not stop their dangerous activities, we will simply expel them from the land, no matter how powerful or rich they may be.”

With his Fidesz party on track to win a landslide third consecutive victory in April, Orbán highlighted how the conservative administration has “prevented the Islamic world from flooding us from the south” with its erection of effective border walls to counter illegal immigration.

“We Hungarians have a future only if we remain Hungarians, if we cultivate our language, protect our Christian and Hungarian culture, and if we guard our independence and Hungarian freedom,” he added.

Apple’s recent update for the iPhone has removed Easter Sunday from some users’ calendars, prompting consumer complaints.

While the previous update displayed both Easter Sunday and April Fool’s Day on April 1, Easter Sunday was removed for some users on their iCal calendars following the latest update.

“Easter Sunday shows up on calendars for iPhone users running versions 11.2.2 of Apple’s iOS operating system, but not some users of 11.2.5, which is the latest version of the OS. However, one user said Easter showed in their calendar,” reported Fox News. “The default setting on iOS devices is for U.S. holidays, which shows holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Independence Day. However, there is an option to add Alternate Calendars, including Chinese, Hebrew and Islamic. But Christian is absent from this list on iOS 11.2.5.”

Several users complained about the disappearance of Easter Sunday from their calendars on Apple’s forums.

“How come Easter isn’t showing up on my calander [sic] but all the other holidays are?” complained one user, while another claimed Apple support informed them that the holiday had been removed intentionally.

“All other Holidays, including ‘religious’ holidays, are included on the US Holidays calendar, but not Good Friday or Easter,” declared the user. “I thought, well, April Fool’s day is listed and it falls on the same day as Easter this year, maybe it was just a glitch and slipped through the cracks. I then followed up on the Apple Forum for an answer and I tried the suggestions to include a different US Holidays calendar. To no avail.”

“I then called Apple, the first service rep I spoke with was sorta rude and dismissive but she forwarded me to someone who has been very helpful,” they continued, adding, “He had not been aware of the omission and sent a service inquiry. He phoned me back and sadly to him, informed me the response he received was, the calendar is as it should be and Apple decided to omit Good Friday and Easter from the US Holiday Calendar which is supplied on its products. This makes absolutely no sense.”
