New Poll: ‘Trust In Media Hits Bottom’

Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner reports on another new poll demonstrating that confidence in the media “has hit rock bottom, with many news consumers believing that reporters file their reports before knowing the facts.” The press had a higher percentage of people choosing they have "hardly any confidence at all" in it than the Congress.

President Trump Responds to Michael Cohen Democrat Sideshow: “He Lied a Lot… But No Collusion”

President Trump held historic peace talks with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un on Wednesday and Thursday.

At the same time the Democrat-media complex held sideshow hearings with convicted liar Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney.

This was a new low for the Democrat Party — holding sham hearings while the president is negotiating peace in Asia.
But Democrats have lost all sense of respectability and now only care about power and destroying this president damned the country’s future

President Trump was asked about the sham hearing with the convicted liar while in Hanoi.

The president responded: “He lied a lot… but it was very interesting. He didn’t lie about one thing. He said no collusion with the Russian hoax. And I said I wonder why he didn’t just lie about that too like he did about everything else… He said no collusion and I was a little impressed by that frankly… He only went about 95% instead of 100%.”

Lunatic Fed Chair Jerome Powell Crashed Trump Record Stock Market, Cost US Billions in New Debt, Trillions in Wealth and Sank the GDP – What a Disaster!

Top financial analyst Burt Flickinger joined Charles Payne on Varney and Co. in December, the day after Christmas holiday.

The US economy and markets hit several historic records in 2018. President Trump was correct in his policy and the economy was never stronger.

Then in October Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell stepped in and destroyed the outstanding gains.

The market tanked, the Dow Jones dropped over 5,000 points, the Middle Class was decimated and the global markets are now in chaos. The Jerome Powell stock market crash is now GREATER THAN the market crash after 9-11. The guy is a dangerous lunatic.

The Dow is down 5,036 in December from its all-time high on October 3, 2018.

Since Jerome Powell’s comments on October 3rd and continuing promises of rate hikes the Dow Jones sank 18.7%.
The Dow is down over 5,000 points or 18%!

The stock market crashed 14% after the 9-11 Islamic attacks on America.

The DOW reached another all-time high on October 3rd reaching 26,829. It was up for the 103rd time since Donald Trump was elected President and 46% since the November 2016 election.

This was clearly too much for the Fed’s Powell who then scared investors with his message that he will raise rates well into next year.

Over $5 Trillion in Wealth was erased!

As a result of Fed Chief Powell’s actions, Americans have watched their 401k’s dissolve into thin air.

The Powell Stock Market Crash was greater than the 9-11 Attack Stock Market Crash!

On THursday the US government released its 4th quarter GDP numbers.  The GDP beat expectations at 2.6%.

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis measured 2018 growth at 2.9 percent

Jerome Powell added billions of new debt to the economy.
He stalled the Trump market surge.
He decimated 401k’s.
He eliminated trillions of dollars in wealth.
And he also managed to bring the economy to a halt.
The GDP number did not hit 3.0%.
Jerome Powell is a dangerous lunatic and screwed this president and the American people.
Get rid of this clown.

Nolte: Eight Times Michael Cohen’s Testimony Cleared Trump of All Wrongdoing

Here are eight reasons why Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony did President Trump a whole lot more good than harm.

Watching Cohen testify Wednesday was déjà vu all over again. The Resistance and their allies in the establishment media just keep on keeping on as they assured us over and over again a smoking gun is right around the corner. Hang in there, y’all, well catch the Orange Bad Man this time, fer real!

Trump haters, most especially those in Never Trump and the media, now remind me of those cocaine monkeys who eventually starve to death because they always choose dope over food. You turn on TV and it’s all the same spectacle, and has been for three years: Blow dried anchors and pundits and their brittle female counterparts run around chirping, Yip, yip, yip, yip, yip! as they destroy themselves choosing the dopamine rush of ImpeachmentIsJustOverTheNextHill instead of the sustenance of truth or, heaven forbid, a historic summit over the fate of the Korean peninsula.

By any objective measure, Cohen’s testimony made total fools of these Resistance Cocaine Monkeys, but until that fact sunk in later in the day, watching the morons scream Aha! We got him! over and over on Twitter and on cable news Wednesday, was so, so, so… familiar; because this is all we ever hear from this crowd.

And I understand why. Now that the media’s credibility and moral authority are gone forever, CNN and the rest have to keep the bottom from falling out by holding on to the only audience they have left: the far-left base, the kooks — and that base is a gang of dope fiends and the media their dealers who know they better deliver this hour’s dose of InevitableImpeachment before the fiends go elsewhere.

Anyway….

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Campaign Finance Allegations

It was always dumb to believe Trump would be impeached over a stupid campaign finance violation. The idea being that Trump not reporting his perfectly legal decision to pay hush money to a couple of blackmailing porn stars with his own money is illegal.

Well, even if this was a campaign finance violation, it would only mean a fine. But on Wednesday, Cohen testified it was not a campaign finance violation when he said the following:

COHEN: “Catch and kill” is a method that exists when you’re working with a news outlet, in this specific case it was AMI, National Enquirer, David Pecker, Dylan Howard and others; where they would contact me or Mr. Trump or someone and state that there’s a story that’s percolating out there that you may be interested in. And then what you do, is you contact that individual and you purchase the rights to that story from them.

CONGRESSWOMAN: And you practiced this for the president?

COHEN: I was involved in several of these “catch and kill” episodes. These “catch and kill” episodes existed between David Pecker long before I started for working him in 2007.

Let me again point out that there is absolutely nothing illegal about “catch and kill,” nor is there anything illegal about paying off blackmailers threatening to expose you with the truth or a lie — and Trump claims Stormy Daniels is lying about their one night stand, and as you will see below, Trump has been forced to use “catch and kill” to silence liars.

Therefore, the only possible campaign finance violation Trump might be guilty of is not reporting these payoffs as a campaign expense, but…

If the expense in question would have occurred if you weren’t running for office, then you do not have to report it, and…

Cohen just admitted Trump has been paying off women going back more than a decade, so none of this is a campaign finance violation. History proves he would have paid these women off if he was not running for president.

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Russia Collusion Allegations

To begin with, Cohen claimed Trump never believed he would win and was only using his presidential campaign as a brand-enhancing gimmick.

“He never expected to win the primary. He never expected to win the general election,” Cohen said. “The campaign – for him – was always a marketing opportunity.”

So why would a guy who didn’t think he could win go so far as to collude with the Russians … to win?

Doesn’t make sense.

Cohen also blew a giant hole in the Phony Russia Dossier by saying he had never been to Prague.

The Phony Russia Dossier pretty much falls apart with this knowledge because the dossier claims Cohen was the lynchpin to the conspiracy, the guy sent overseas to pay off those glorious hackers who got a hold of emails from Clintonista John Podesta and the Democrat National Committee.

God bless WikiLeaks for doing the job out media won’t.

  1. Cohen Clears Trump of Allegation the President Told Him to Lie to Congress

If you recall, Buzzfeed’s face plant of fake news last month revolved around the “bombshell” Trump told Cohen to lie to Congress about the date his Trump Tower negotiations ended with Russia. More importantly, Buzzfeed also claimed Special Counsel Robert Mueller had written proof of Trump suborning this perjury.

To this day, even after Mueller released a statement saying Buzzfeed was lying, the far-left outlet refuses to retract its fake news.

On Wednesday, Cohen sunk it forever.

“I lied to Congress [about] when Mr. Trump stopped negotiating the Moscow tower project in Russia. I stated that we stopped negotiating in January of 2016. That was false,” he said. “Our negotiations continued for months later during the campaign. Mr. Trump did not directly tell me to lie to Congress. That’s not how he operates.”

What did Trump do to make Cohen believe he wanted his fixer to commit perjury? Cohen claims this directive came in the form of…  Body language.

I’ll wait here until you stop laughing.

Buzzfeed says Mueller has written proof Trump told Cohen to lie. How do you get written proof of body language?

Even so, in the sunshine of reality, Cohen’s absurd claim makes no sense. Why would Trump want his personal attorney to lie to Congress about the Moscow negotiations when his son, Donald Trump Jr., was going to tell the truth?

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Knowing In Advance About the WikiLeaks Document Dump

Another crucial piece of Cohen’s testimony:

In July 2016, days before the Democratic convention, I was in Mr. Trump’s office when his secretary announced that Roger Stone was on the phone. Mr. Trump put Mr. Stone on the speakerphone. Mr. Stone told Mr. Trump that he had just gotten off the phone with Julian Assange and that Mr. Assange told Mr. Stone that, within a couple of days, there would be a massive dump of emails that would damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign.”

Mr. Trump responded by stating to the effect of ‘wouldn’t that be great.’

Cohen’s testified that “days before the Democrat convention” Trump was told about the WikiLeaks release.

The Democrat convention was held between July 25 and July 28, 2018.

In other words, “days before” July 25.

Ooh, damning, except…

We knew in mid-June — let me repeat, June — WikiLeaks had an email trove from the Democrat National Committee. You see, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange bragged about having the incriminating emails on June 12.

Four days later, on June 16, at least a month prior to this notorious phone call, WikiLeaks began its release of the DNC trove.

Finally, on July 7, WikiLeaks was offering the media access of its “pending Hillary Clinton publications.”

So, according to Cohen, all that phone call proves is that Trump knew less about what was coming from WikiLeaks than those who follow WikiLeaks on Twitter.

And why would someone who is colluding with Russia not know this until late July?

Let me add, that any foreknowledge of a WikiLeaks document dump is not illegal, does not prove in any way that the Trump campaign colluded with whomever to make the hack happen.

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Wife Beating Allegations

There is a nasty rumor going around about video of an elevator incident where Trump hit Melania.

Cohen said,  “It doesn’t exist… I don’t believe Mr. Trump ever struck Mrs. Trump ever, I don’t believe it.”

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Love Child Allegation

When asked if he was aware of Trump fathering a child out of wedlock, Cohen said, “Not to the best of my knowledge.”

This rumor stems from the Enquirer paying $15,000 to “catch and kill” a story about this love child, which bolsters Trump claim he pays hush money to blackmailing liars, which means Trump paying off Stormy Daniels cannot be used as proof she is telling the truth.

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Abortion Allegation

When asked if he ever set up or knew anything about Trump arranging an abortion for a mistress, Trump’s former fixer said, “I’m not aware of that, no.”

  1. Cohen Cleared Trump of Drug Abuse Allegation

Trump has been accused of using illegal stimulants, even the ludicrous claim he snorted Adderall on the set of The Apprentice. When asked if he knew anything about this, Cohen said, “I am not aware of that, no.”

Meanwhile, if you cup your ear towards New York or D.C., you can hear the Resistance Cocaine Monkeys crashing… Yi, yi, yi, yi, yi — whuh?

Alleged Threats, Bribes, Prostitutes: Growing Scandal Threatens to Bring Down Canada’s Trudeau

Former Canadian Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould gave a bombshell testimony accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other officials of “veiled threats” to force her to drop a case for political purposes.

Ms Wilson-Raybould gave testimony before the Canadian House of Commons justice committee for several hours on Wednesday, speaking out against members of staff and Prime Minister Trudeau attempting to interfere with an investigation into the SNC-Lavalin corporation, The Globe and Mail reports.

Accusations that the prime minister and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) interfered with the SNC-Lavalin investigation first emerged on February 7th.

The engineering company, which is based in Quebec, was accused of engaging in bribery in Libya in efforts to secure lucrative contracts in the country.

Since the accusations were made public, further allegations have revealed that the corporation may also have gone as far as paying for prostitutes for Saadi Gadhafi, son of former Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, during a visit to Canada in 2008.

Receipts claim that the company spent as much as $30,000 on prostitutes for Gadhafi while he was allegedly in Montreal and Toronto at the invitation of the company to learn English.

Initially, after the first Globe and Mail report on the SNC-Lavalin affair, the accusations were dismissed by Trudeau and the PMO.

Only weeks later, Trudeau’s chief adviser, and one of his closest confidants, Gerald Butts resigned abruptly from his position as principal secretary in the PMO.

Butts denied that his resignation had anything to do with the SNC-Lavalin affair saying accusations that he or others put pressure on former Attorney General Wilson-Raybould were “simply not true.”

Until Wednesday, Ms Wilson-Raybould had been unable to comment on the matter but was free to do so in front of the justice committee.

In her testimony, Wilson-Raybould made bombshell allegations towards Trudeau and the PMO saying, “For a period of approximately four months between September and December 2018, I experienced a consistent and sustained effort by many people within the government to seek to politically interfere in the exercise of prosecutorial discretion in my role as the Attorney General of Canada in an inappropriate effort to secure a Deferred Prosecution Agreement with SNC-Lavalin.”

“These events involved 11 people (excluding myself and my political staff) – from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Privy Council Office, and the Office of the Minister of Finance,” she added.

One of the most damning pieces of testimony involved an alleged discussion between Wilson-Raybould and Trudeau:

The Prime Minister asks me to help out – to find a solution here for SNC – citing that if there was no DPA there would be many jobs lost and that SNC will move from Montreal. In response, I explained to him the law… I told him that I had done my due diligence and made up my mind on SNC and that I was not going to interfere with the decision of the DPP.

… At that point the PM jumped in stressing that there is an election in Quebec and that “and I am an MP in Quebec – the member for Papineau.” My response – and I remember this vividly – was to ask the PM a direct question while looking him in the eye – I asked: “Are you politically interfering with my role / my decision as the AG? I would strongly advise against it.” The Prime Minister said “No, No, No – we just need to find a solution.”

The former Attorney General named several prominent politicians and staff who were engaged in pressuring her, some with “veiled threats.”

Among the names included former PMO head Gerald Butts, Minister of Finance Bill Morneau, and head of the Privy Council Office Michael Wernick.

The scandal has rocked the Canadian political scene and has led to calls from Conservative opposition lead Andrew Scheer for the prime minister to resign from office.

“As Ms Wilson-Raybould has so clearly articulated, the people Canadians entrusted to protect the integrity of our very nation were instead only protecting themselves and their friends,” Scheer said and added, “Mr Trudeau can no longer, in good standing and with a clear conscience, lead this great nation.”

Prime Minister Trudeau, meanwhile, rejected calls for his resignation saying that voters would get to decide their next prime minister at the upcoming national elections in October.

WATCH: NRA Releases Video Targeting Socialist Politicians: They Think They Are The ‘Protected Class’

The National Rifle Association, fed-up with politicians, both Democrats and independents, championing socialism, released a video in which the NRA points out that those who wish to redistribute financial resources economically also wish to redistribute American freedoms, including guns.

The video begins by stating, “When elitist politicians refuse to stand and clap as our President declares that America will never be a socialist country, here is what they’re really saying: that they believe in the redistribution of your freedoms, to them. That only they deserve to feel safe and secure. We don’t. Because in the eyes of America’s socialist leaders they, and they alone, are the protected class.

The NRA then named some names, from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg to California senator Kamala Harris to California governor Gavin Newsom to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY):

It’s why Nancy Pelosi can in the morning, say that a border wall is immoral and tell law-abiding Americans that you shouldn’t own guns. And then at night, sleep soundly in a home protected by walls and, of course, Secret Service agents with guns. Because for Nancy Pelosi, she is the protected class. And we are not.

It’s why Michael Bloomberg funds politicians and extremist organizations that do whatever they can to block school safety measures. That fight against the right of teachers to train and arm themselves so that they may defend children from a potential killer. And then use children as political pawns in the aftermath of a massacre, never admitting the reason our schools are still soft targets is the result of their political anti-gun, anti-NRA stance. Because for Michael Bloomberg, he and his children are the protected class, while we and our children, are not.

It’s why Kamala Harris has the audacity to compare ICE agents to the Ku Klux Klan. Its why she wants to ban your semi-automatic firearms. Yet she’s lived for decades in a state protected by ICE agents. Now she works in the United States Senate, government buildings protected by the very firearms she insists you don’t deserve. Because for Kamala Harris, she is the protected class. And we are not.

Socialist arrogance is why Gavin Newsom is disarming law-abiding Californians by any means necessary, while he opens the doors of his state to illegal aliens, giving drug dealers, rapists and murders sanctuary. Sanctuary everywhere in California except at his doorstep, where he is protected, again, by walls and guns. Because for Gavin Newsom, he is the protected class. And we are not.

It’s why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to disarm hard-working Americans, while giving those “unwilling to work” our money. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is Saul Alinsky in a pant suit, who calls the firearms that protect our families weapons of war. While she smiles and pushes the same socialist disarmament policies that have led to war in the streets of Venezuela. Because for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, she is the protected class. And we are not.

The video continues:

These people are just the first drops of rain in the coming the socialist storm. A movement of elitists who want to force you to abandon your freedom for the false promise of free stuff. These are the people who want to disarm you. Guns in the hands of good people equals power. Power they want to take from you and harness for themselves. But here is my guarantee: they will fail. America will never be a socialist country.

After claiming that the NRA will defend Americans from a government that might grab their firearms, the video concludes, “Join our fight against this socialist storm. Stand on the frontlines with us. And together, we will protect this country from the arrogant protected class that tries to tear it apart.”

Trump Totally Humiliated This Smug WaPo Reporter in Front of Everyone During NK Summit

During President Donald Trump’s summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi, Vietnam, the media tried its hardest to make Trump look like a stooge.

If you wanted to pick someone to act as a symbol of this attitude, you could certainly do worse than The Washington Post’s David Nakamura.

Nakamura, one of the WaPo’s White House reporters, apparently thought that Trump was going to get humiliated by Kim Jong Un during the summit, insinuating that he would kowtow to the diplomatic corps from Pyongyang.

Instead it was Nakamura who got humiliated.

It all stemmed from a comment Nakamura tweeted regarding a video put out by Trump’s official account. Nakamura implied there was weakness on the president’s part.

TRENDING: Disgraceful Daily Show Host Used African Language To Hide Sick, Racist Joke at Oscars

Here was Nakamura’s take:

Do you think President Trump made the right decision to walk away?

“This does not look like the product of someone in the midst of trying to drive a hard bargain on an existential threat to U.S. national security and willing to walk away if the deal isn’t good enough,” Nakamura said.

And so, what did Trump do — more or less right after Nakamura told the world he didn’t think Trump was ready to walk away if the deal wasn’t good enough?

He walked away when the deal wasn’t good enough.

“President Trump and Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s leader, abruptly ended their second summit meeting on Thursday after talks collapsed with the two leaders failing to agree on any steps toward nuclear disarmament or measures to ease tensions on the Korean Peninsula,” The New York Times reported.

RELATED: Trump Abruptly Cancels North Korea Trip, Ratchets Up the Pressure on Kim

“Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump said at a post-summit news conference.

The sticking point, according to The Times, was that Kim wanted all of the U.N. sanctions lifted off of his country “in exchange for dismantling its most important nuclear facility but not other elements of its weapons program.”

“It was about the sanctions,” the president said.

“Basically they wanted the sanctions lifted in their entirety, but we couldn’t do that.”

Oh, well, I’m sure that Nakamura promptly apologized for getting the situation so wrong.

Or perhaps not. Here are some Nakamura tweets that followed the summit’s abrupt ending (the ending he essentially predicted could not happen).

As for Trump, he apparently didn’t walk away in a huff, if you believe his statements.

“This wasn’t a walkaway like you get up and walk out,” he said. “No, this was very friendly. We shook hands.”

In other words, this is what Stephen Covey might have called “win-win or no deal,” although one imagines it was a bit more complex than that.

This is what Reagan did with Gorbachev at Rekyavik, Iceland, in 1986. Critics at the time called the summit a failure, but it was only three years later that the Berlin Wall opened. Five years later, the Soviet Union dissolved.

The sanctions Trump is keeping in place make it impossible for for Kim Jong Un to initiate any sort of economic growth. He’s gotten a taste of what could happen if he denuclearizes. He just had to look at Hanoi.

Nevertheless, Nakamura first stated Trump wasn’t going to walk away without a deal if it wasn’t good enough because he put out a video to promote the summit.

Then he mocked Trump’s post-summit news conference, then implied Trump wasn’t being hard enough on the North Korean leader.

“Heading home after quite a day,” Nakamura tweeted as he was on board Air Force One.

Yes, yes it was. Quite humiliating, too. Even if he didn’t admit it.
