BREAKING: Capital Gazette Shooter Identified: 38-Year-Old JARROD RAMOS


BREAKING NEWS.

Authorities have identified the Capital Gazette shooter using facial recognition software.

His name is Jarrod Ramos; he is 38 years old, according to NBC.

Law enforcement told media sources the shooter previously sued the Capital Gazette for defamation and lost.

Jarrod Ramos entered the Capital Gazette building in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday afternoon, and shot and killed five people; many more are injured.

NBC News: The shooting suspect’s name is JARROD RAMOS. 38 years old. He was identified by multiple law enforcement officials to NBC News. He had sued the paper in 2012 for defamation. Case was tossed by a judge.

Oliver Darcy also reported this was a “targeted attack” and the shooter was looking for his victims as he walked in the newsroom.

Police say threats were sent over social media as recently as today.
