Former Dem Governor’s Controversial Legislation Allows Convicted Pedophile To Run for Congress

If you live in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, you have a fresh face in the battle to represent you. He’s someone who wouldn’t have been able to run a few years ago — not because he was too young, mind you, but because he’s a convicted felon who served 16 months in jail after threatening to kill the president in 2008.

Has he reformed? Of course he hasn’t. If anything, he’s revealed himself as being worse.

Nathan Larson, an independent, openly admits to raping his former wife and being a pedophile. He’s unapologetic about running forums for other pedophiles as well as those with demented, violent urges toward women. He describes himself as a “quasi-neoreactionary libertarian” who plans to put “an end to U.S. involvement in foreign wars arising from our country’s alliance with Israel” and “restore … benevolent white supremacy” and “freedom from age restrictions.”

And he’s all on the ballot because one of Hillary Clinton’s closest friends, former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, was willing to do anything to help her win the state in 2016 — including restoring voting and office-holding rights to tens of thousands of felons in the state of Virginia.

So let’s start with Larson. He’s a 37-year-old accountant from Charlottesville, Virginia, who will also likely be describing himself as “newly unemployed” sometime in the near future.

Before I get into who he is, I’m going to warn you in the strongest possible terms that this is not an article for the queasy. It’s pretty much a glimpse into the blackest hole of humanity’s sicknesses. It’s important, however, that we chronicle exactly the kind of human being that McAuliffe was willing to let back into the voting pool — and who can now run for Congress.

So, apparently some time after Larson posted his campaign manifesto — which includes sections calling for the legalization of child pornography and incest as well as one simply titled “Adolf Hitler, white supremacist hero” — the Huffington Post did a bit of digging around about this guy. And what I mean is that they mostly called him and let him talk, since he freely admitted that he’s just about the sickest individual you could possibly imagine.

“In a phone call, Larson confirmed that he created the now-defunct websites suiped.org and incelocalypse.today ― chat rooms that served as gathering places for pedophiles and violence-minded misogynists like himself. HuffPost contacted Larson after confirming that his campaign website shared an IP address with these forums, among others. His sites were terminated by their domain host on Tuesday,” the report reads.

On these websites, Larson “repeatedly expressed a desire to have sex with infants and children, including his own daughter. In the phone call, Larson said that the word ‘pedophile’ is ‘vague’ and ‘just a label,’ adding that it’s ‘normal’ for men to be attracted to underage women. He said he did not commit any crimes.”

Should Terry McAuliffe have to answer for the fact that this man can run for office?

However, he claims to have raped his late ex-wife on numerous occasions; when asked by the HuffPo “whether there was a ‘grain of truth’ in his essay about father-daughter incest and another about raping his ex-wife repeatedly, he said yes, offering that plenty of women have rape fantasies.” She killed herself sometime after obtaining a restraining order against him in 2015. Asked whether he was an actual pedophile or just wrote about it, he also said, “It’s a mix of both. When people go over the top there’s a grain of truth to what they say.”

Also, for someone who has allegedly not committed any crimes, this is someone who has put some thought into the mechanisms of rape and child molestation on his message boards, something I will blessedly spare you from (and really quite wish the Huffington Post had spared me from). He’s also spent a significant amount of verbiage on describing how women should be legally treated as property, including rationalizing O.J. Simpson’s murder of his wife in his campaign manifesto.

“Simpson was merely trying to use a reasonable amount of force to correct his wife’s misbehavior, but the police intervened to stop him, in response to her 911 calls,” Larson wrote. “Prohibited in this manner from keeping discipline and order in his family, Simpson had to resort to the use of a blade to end his marriage in a way that wouldn’t leave him vulnerable to losing half his property and custody of his kids in divorce proceedings. In this way, Simpson protected his kids from having to be exposed to their mother’s immoral behavior, and taught them by example how men have a right to respond to wives who are flagrantly disrespecting, or otherwise displeasing, them; or who have generally become more of a liability than an asset to have around.”

In 2008, something else Larson wrote actually got him in a lot more trouble than any of this bilious garbage, however.

“I am writing to inform you that in the near future, I will kill the President of the United States of America,” Larson began his 2008 letter to the Secret Service. Larson then outlined the reasons why he did and how he planned to pull it off. He served 16 months in the federal pen for that.

That should have disqualified him for life from holding office or, in the state of Virginia, voting. That all changed during the 2016 election cycle. In the run-up to the election, Gov. Terry McAuliffe — one of the Clintons’ closest political allies — decided to issue a blanket clemency order that would have allowed 200,000 felons to vote. When the state Supreme Court struck down that blanket restoration, McAuliffe used an auto-pen signing device to “individually” grant clemency to up to 60,000 persons.

Larson would not have been able to run in the state of Virginia had his voting rights not been restored by the governor. Congratulations, Terry McAuliffe. You’re responsible for the most disgusting candidate you’ll see anywhere in the world.

Larson is not going to win, obviously. (According to the New York Daily News, his run for the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017 attracted just 2 percent of voters, hopefully people who had no idea who he was.)

The fact that this animal is even running for office, however, proves only one thing — there simply is no externality horrible enough that would have stopped McAuliffe from pulling this stunt to throw the state to Clinton. This includes giving the vote to 100 individuals still in custody after being found guilty of sexual assault, as he originally did with the first blanket clemency (which was mercifully struck down). Now, we’ve seen something even worse.

McAuliffe is reportedly considering a run for president in 2020. One can only hope that if and when he does, the name of Nathan Larson looms large over his campaign, like Chappaquiddick did for Ted Kennedy or Willie Horton did for Michael Dukakis.

McAuliffe deserves nothing less.
