Dan Bongino on DNC-FBI Fake Dossier: “How Is This NOT the Scandal of the Century?” (Video)

Former Secret Service agent and bestselling author Dan Bongino went off today on the Democrat Dossier Scandal.

Democrats and the FBI paid for a salacious, dishonest, and discredited report on Donald Trump, then used the report to spy on Donald Trump and their political opposition.

Dan Bongino wants to know, “How is this NOT the scandal of the century?”

Dan Bongino: I can’t say this enough, how is this not the scandal of the century? Yopu have an organization affiliated with Barack Obama, OFA. We now know that, this is not speculation, shelled money to Fusion GPS who in turn bought fake Russian intelligence. And here’s the critical point, Trish, as a former federal agent this means a lot to me. Bogus Russian intel that made it to the President of the United States and in the form of a presidential daily brief, made it to the FBI and may have made it into FBI documents used to obtain warrants to wiretap Barack Obama’s political opponents. Please explain to me again how this is NOT the political scandal of the century.

Tax Reform Will Include State and Local Tax Deduction

Tax Reform Will Include State and Local Tax Deduction

30 Oct, 2017
30 Oct, 2017

House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) announced that the Republican tax plan will include the state and local tax (SALT) deduction, a measure that will that will smooth the Republicans’ rollout of tax reform later this week.

The House barely passed the Senate budget resolution last week 216-212, featuring unanimous Democrat opposition and 20 Republican votes against the measure. Many Republicans voted against the budget measure due to the tax plan’s repeal of the state and local tax deduction; Brady decided to keep the SALT deduction to prevent another roadblock in tax reform.

Chairman Brady said in a statement, “At the urging of lawmakers, we are restoring an itemized property tax deduction to help taxpayers with local tax burdens.”

The House will unveil their tax proposal this week, which features massive tax cuts for small businesses and middle-class families. The Republican tax platform would lower the tax brackets to rates of 12, 25, and 35 percent and double the standard deduction for the average American. The Republican tax plan would have eliminated the state and local tax deduction, which allows for Americans from high-tax, mostly Democrats states such as New Jersey, California, and New York to deduct their high taxes from their federal income taxes.

Rep. Dan Donovan (R-NY), said in a statement, “I’m grateful to the Chairman and House leaders for listening to the argument that I and others made about the basic unfairness of double taxation, and I look forward to analyzing the tax relief proposal in its entirety next week.”

Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ), one of the four New Jersey Republicans to oppose the budget, said, “This is a step in the right direction but I will need to see legislative text to determine if this proposal is in the best interest of New Jersey. We already send more than enough money to Washington. I am pleased this debate has reminded lawmakers from other states of that fact. There is more work to be done on the SALT issue.”

Nicole Kaeding, an economist with the Tax Foundation, explained that the SALT deduction mostly favors wealthy Americans in high tax states and that Republicans planned to use deduction’s repeal to pay for tax cuts.

Kaeding argued, ““Repealing SALT is not happening in a vacuum. It is offsetting revenues needed to finance other tax cuts.”

President Donald Trump said that tax reform will be “rocket fuel for our economy.”

Hillary Clinton Spotted Cavorting with Focus of Mueller Investigation, Tony Podesta

Hillary Clinton Spotted Cavorting with Focus of Mueller Investigation, Tony Podesta

30 Oct, 2017
30 Oct, 2017

Former Secretary of State and two-time losing Democrat candidate for President Hillary Clinton was spotted meeting this weekend with figures who feature prominently in an investigation into corruption, spearheaded by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Tony Podesta and Sidney Blumenthal both appeared at Clinton’s 70th birthday party held at Elizabeth Frawley Bagley’s house in Washington, DC, on Sunday, Politico reported. Podesta’s appearance is uncomfortable for Clinton because he and his brother, Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, are currently a focus of Mueller’s corruption investigation with their political consultancy business, the Podesta Group.

The Podesta Group came under the microscope for working with lobbyist Paul Manafort who Mueller indicted on Monday for tax evasion and other charges. Long before he joined Trump’s campaign, in 2012, Manafort worked with the Podestas to lobby Congress on behalf of Ukraine’s bid to join the European Union.

Only hours after news of Mueller’s indictment of Manafort broke, Tony Podesta announced that he was stepping down from the firm that bears his name.

Podesta handed over the operational reins to firm CEO Kimberley Fritts, according to reports on Monday afternoon.

Podesta reportedly said he felt he needed to confront the Mueller investigation as an individual and not while representing the Podesta Group.

White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders Huckabee pointed out that Mueller’s indictments thus far prove that his investigation has “nothing to do with the president.”

“Today’s announcement has nothing to do with the president, and has nothing to do with the president’s campaign or his campaign activity,” Sanders told reporters at the White House on Monday.

Sanders also noted that Trump hasn’t spoken to Manafort in months. “The last known conversation was back all the way to February, and as far as anything beyond that, with Paul, I’m not sure.”

PragerU: How The States Can Save America

In a new Prager University short video, “How The States Can Save America,” former South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint explains how the States can drain the ever-expanding swamp in Washington, D.C.

“The federal government has become a lumbering giant,” said DeMint. “With each passing year, it gets bigger and scarier. In 1965, Washington was $761 billion big. In 2016 … it was 3.5 trillion – five times the size.”

He continues, “If the government spent only the money it collected in taxes, that would be one thing. But it always spends more … which is why we’re $20 trillion dollars in debt. That’s 13 zeroes. Count ‘em: Thirteen. But the crazy spending isn’t even the worst of it. Washington is involved in every part of our lives.”

The former Republican lawmaker explains how the government is involved with every aspect of your life, from buying a car to buying groceries.

“The government has its hands on your shoulder if not your throat,” DeMint warns.

So how do we solve this problem? The obvious answer is for Congress to come together and pass amendments with the approval of the states in conjunction with the first half of the Article 5 of the Constitution. Unfortunately, that does not work, as most lawmakers want to hold onto the power they are give.

There is another solution, DeMint underscores. The second half of Article 5 states, “on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments.”

“Congress must call a convention to amend the Constitution if two-thirds of the states, that’s 34 states, demand it,” says DeMint. “The time has come to demand it. The time has come to propose amendments that will restore meaningful limits on federal power and authority. The time has come for a convention of states.”

He continues, “Here’s how it would work: Once the 34 states call a convention, all 50 states send a delegate to represent their interests. For any constitutional amendments proposed, each state gets one vote. And an amendment only passes out of the convention and to the states for ratification if a majority of the states’ delegates vote in the affirmative. In this scenario, Congress has no say. It is completely in the hands of the states, which means it’s a whole lot closer to the hands of the people.”

The convention of states proposes several amendments, including term limits for members of Congress, limits on spending, and keeping Congress from exempting itself from laws it passes.

“The time is now,” says DeMint.

Paul Manafort Allegedly Laundered $75 Million In Russian Money. Here’s How.

According to the FBI indictment, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort made a pretty penny handling public relations for Putin-allied forces in the Ukraine. Between Manafort and his associate Richard Gates, their work generated tens of million in extra income, which Manafort used, in part, to trick out his wardrobe.

Unfortunately, the U.S. government frowns on doing business with foreign entities, particularly those its not friendly with, and, according to the FBI’s timeline of events, Manafort and Grant had to do something with all that cash to avoid reporting it to the Feds.

For the most part, Manafort and Grant allegedly ran the money through offshore banks and accounts. Manafort reportedly funneled around $75 million into his personal coffers this way, using cash from his foreign accounts to purchase domestic real estate, then getting loans against those same properties.

He could then spend the cash, but the U.S. government, for at least a while, had no idea where the cash was coming from. He also never reported or paid taxes on any of that income, to add trouble on top of trouble.

Like Walter White in Breaking Bad, Manafort and Grant apparently suffered from a surplus of cash. Unable to report it or invest it, Manafort, at least, spent it on some pretty fancy things.

According to the FBI charging documents, Manafort had a great time spending some of the ill-gotten gains.

The former Trump official paid a “Home Automation, Lighting and Home Entertainment Company” $1,319,218 over the course of two years, apparently to add a top-notch home theater to one of his many multi-million dollar residences.

Obviously needing to make sure his rooms were pulled together, Manafort dropped another $934,350 at an Antique Rug Store in Alexandria, Virginia. He paid another vendor, related to the rug shop, $100,000, possibly for cleaning or alterations.

Manafort also, apparently, had a taste for designer duds. According to the indictment, he wired $849,215 to a men’s clothing store in New York City over the course of six years — enough for several high-end wardrobes — and $520,440 to a clothing store in Beverly Hills, California, over the course of four years. The revelations are shocking not just because it seems impossible to spend that much money, but because Manafort never looked all that pulled together on the campaign trail.

WATCH: Insane Attack Ad Smears Republicans As Racists Who Want To Murder Minority Children

If you’re a Republican, you apparently want to run down minority children in your confederate flag-sporting pickup truck, or at least condone such behavior. That’s the clear message sent in an attack ad launched against gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie (R-VA).

In the vile ad from the Democrat-aligned Latino Victory Fund, a pickup truck with a Confederate flag and “Don’t Trend on Me” and pro-Ed Gillespie bumper stickers is seen terrorizing innocent minority children in a neighborhood. The truck chases the children toward the back of a fenced-in dark alley with no escape. The children are finally shown waking up from the nightmare before the truck can presumably finish them off.

“Is this what Donald Trump and Ed Gillespie mean by the American dream?” a narrator says as the children wake up.

There are also images of adults watching TV coverage of the Charlottesville rally, where white nationalists marched with torches to protest the destruction of a Confederate statue. The event turned violent and fatal when white nationalists clashed with Antifa counter-protesters.

“The commercial, which the Latino Victory Fund says is airing through Election Day on Spanish-language stations in Richmond and Washington market, is the latest in a bitter battle on the airwaves,” reports The Washington Post.

Latino Victory Fund President Cristóbal J. Alex said the ad portrays “what Latino and immigrant communities feel right now.”

“It’s a very stark ad, but those portrayals in the ad are what Latino and immigrant communities feel right now in Virginia,” Alex said. “If Gillespie is successful in scapegoating Latinos and borrowing from Trump’s playbook, we will see those types of attacks against our community throughout the 2018 midterms.”

Gillespie’s Democratic opponent, Ralph Northam, has yet to denounce the ad; on the contrary, Northam spokesman Ofirah Yheskel seemingly applauded the racially-charged commercial:

“Independent groups are denouncing Ed Gillespie because he has run the most divisive, fear mongering campaign in modern history,” said Yheskel. “It is not shocking that communities of color are scared of what his Trump-like policy positions mean for them.”

Gillespie has returned fire via his campaign manager Chris Leavitt:

“Now his allies have reached a new low with a disgusting, vile television ad seeking to instill fear in our children with that same imagery,” said Leavitt. “This is not an attack on Ed Gillespie anymore. This is an all out attack on the people of Virginia. This latest ad gives a clear indication of just what Ralph Northam and his national Democratic allies think of all of us, and it’s sickening.”

But this is standard practice of the Left: paint your opponents as racists who want to harm minority children and actively promote racial tensions.

Dirty Democrats Panic – Demand Congress Pass a Bill to Protect Crooked Cop Mueller From Being Fired!

Dirty Democrats Panic – Demand Congress Pass a Bill to Protect Crooked Cop Mueller From Being Fired!

The dirty Democrats are moving in to protect crooked cop Mueller who was specifically chosen to take down Trump et al under the guise of a ‘Russian collusion’ investigation.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported Monday morning, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and business partner Rick Gates were ordered to surrender to federal authorities. Manafort has officially surrendered to the FBI, having entered the Bureau’s Washington, D.C. headquarters shortly after 8:00am EST.

Mueller announced these charges because he is under such pressure to step down.  There is no reason for his investigation and Americans know it.  Mueller’s announcement is just to change the discussion and narrative in the fake news MSM.

Dirty and corrupt Democrats never recuse themselves from obvious conflicts of interest when required by law. Robert Mueller is example number one.  He should recuse himself from the fraudulent special investigation he is overseeing and then he should be disbarred, prosecuted and punished.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the 200+ transactions listed in the indictment on pages 7 through 14 – with the exception of 4 transactions from 2014.

All of the transactions listed are from the years 2006 to 2013.

This was years before President Donald Trump announced his intentions to run for President.
This is ALL a witch hunt.

The Democrats know this investigation is a witch hunt which is why they are demanding Congress protect dirty cop Mueller!

The Washington Examiner reported the dirty Dems including Nancy Pelosi are demanding Congress pass a bill to protect Mueller from being fired!

Democrats demanded Monday that Congress approve a bill preventing the special counsel from being fired after Robert Mueller unsealed charges against three former Trump campaign officials concerning their work with or on behalf of Russian interests.

Sen. Mark R. Warner, Virginia Democrat and vice chairman of the Senate intelligence committee, said the charges against Mr. Trump’s former campaign chairman and top deputy, and the guilty plea from a foreign policy advisor, are reasons to quickly protect Mr. Mueller from interference by an angry president.

“Members of Congress, Republican and Democrat, must also make clear to the president that issuing pardons to any of his associates or to himself would be unacceptable, and result in immediate, bipartisan action by Congress,” Mr. Warner said in a statement.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said she still wants to see yet another investigation launched.

Meanwhile Hillary’s camp paid MILLIONS of dollars for a Russian dossier, a fraudulent document that most likely prompted a FISA warrant and ultimately led to the unmasking of Trump and his associates.

Hillary’s campaign is actually bragging about their collusion with the Russians during the 2016 presidential election.

As previously reported, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed Hillary Clinton Saturday morning after her former spokesman said he’s “damn glad” Clinton’s campaign colluded with the Russians to spread disinformation about Trump.

Hillary Clinton also approved of the sale of 20% of America’s Uranium to a Russian nuclear firm that was under FBI investigation while she was Secretary of State as $145 million flowed to her Clinton Foundation.

Mueller has already proven that he is a dirty cop.  He should now recuse himself, and then be disbarred, prosecuted on numerous crimes and punished.  His scandalous investigation never had and certainly currently has no merit.   “Lock Him Up!”

#NeverTrump Jeff Flake Considers Independent Run in AZ to Screw Republicans

#NeverTrump Jeff Flake Considers Independent Run in AZ to Screw Republicans

#NeverTump RINO Jeff Flake May Not Be Quite Done Yet– First he wants to ensure a Democrat Wins in Arizona

NeverTrumpers NEVER go away quietly.

RINO #NeverTrump Senator Jeff Flake announced last Tuesday he will not seek reelection in Arizona.

Jeff Flakewas down by 26 points in a PRIMARY race in Arizona and had an approval rating of 18% in his home state.

Then Tuesday he took to the Senate floor to audition for a future gig on MSNBC.

The outspoken #NeverTrumper trashed the Republican president and Republican voters in a 17 minute speech.
Of course, liberals loved it.

Now Flake may run as an independent candidate in Arizona.
So he can screw Republicans.

Via US News and World Report:

Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona has considered running for his seat as an independent and given his blessing to an outside organization to conduct polling to explore the possibility, a source familiar with his thinking tells U.S. News.

Flake announced last Tuesday he would not seek re-election to a second Senate term next year in light of his dire chances of winning a Republican primary and his frustration with the tenure of President Donald Trump. Polling showed him trailing his insurgent challenger, Kelli Ward, by double digits.

But The Centrist Project, a group created to recruit independent candidates, approached Flake about running outside the dominant two-party system during a meeting on Friday. The senator signaled he was open to the possibility and interested in what polling would show, according to the source.

A spokesperson for Flake did not respond to an inquiry. After initial publication of this story, the senator tweeted that an independent run is “not gonna happen.”

The Paul Manafort Indictment: Six Takeaways

Indictments against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and business partner Richard Gates were unsealed Monday by special counsel Robert Mueller, the first charges in his investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 Presidential election. (A third, against former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos, was also unsealed.)

In the wake of the unsealing, media figures and public Democrats speculated wildly about the indictments, implying that they may point to much-proclaimed but littleevidenced collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump.

However, the Manafort indictment has little to do with any possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. It concerns Manafort and Gates’s extensive lobbying on behalf of the Ukrainian government which, the indictment alleges, involved numerous violations of federal law, including extensive money laundering. Conspicuously absent from the indictment is any mention of the 2016 campaign or President Donald Trump himself.

Read the full indictment for yourself here. Here are six takeaways from it:

1. The Indictment is Mostly Concerned With Manafort’s Foreign Lobbying

In contravention of federal law, the indictment charges, Manafort and Gates spent eight years lobbying on behalf of the Ukrainian government, then-President Victor Yanukovych (who would eventually flee to Russia), and Yanukovych’s party, the Party of Regions.

"from 2006 until 2014… MANAFORT and GATES engaged in a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign in the United States… without registering and providing the disclosures provided by law," the indictment reads.

Those lobbying activities were focused on shifting policymaker’s perspective on Yanukovych’s regime, as well as his jailing of political rival Yulia Tymoshenko.

Such lobbying activities are illegal unless (among other things) the lobbyist registers with the federal government under the terms of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires that lobbyists on behalf of foreign governments disclose for whom they are lobbying, what they are lobbying about, and how much they are paid for their lobbying.

Manafort registered as a foreign agent in June of this year. However, prior to that, he failed to disclose his lobbying activities, instead creating an elaborate scheme to obscure his lobbying from federal oversight.

2. Manafort’s Money Laundering Via Offshores Accounts

Manafort’s lobbying paid handsomely, but, because it was outside of the federal government’s purview, those payments had to be hidden from sight. Manafort and Gates dealt with this issue, the indictment alleges, by funneling money through offshore bank accounts.

Because the money was held in offshore accounts, Manafort used wire transfers to purchase property and home improvements for his homes across three different states.

"In order to use the money in the offshore nominee accounts of the MANAFORT-GATES entities without paying taxes on it, MANAFORT and GATES caused millions of dollars in wire transfers from these accounts to be made for goods, services, and real estate," the indictment reads.

In total, Manafort wired over $12 million between 2008 and 2014. Said money was not disclosed, in contravention of the Bank Secrecy Act and IRS reporting obligations.

3. The Indictment Has Nothing to Do with Manafort’s Involvement in the Trump Campaign

Manafort was hired as Trump’s campaign chairman in March of 2016; he resigned in August, after information about the foreign lobbying—for which he now faces charges—surfaced. Importantly, none of the charges that Mueller and company have brought against Manafort pertain to his time as campaign chairman, instead concerning the period between when he was hired by Yanukovych and when Yanukovych fled Ukraine in 2014.

This is well within Mueller’s purview. In the original letter appointing Mueller, Acting/Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein empowered him to investigate not only ties between the Russian government and Trump’s campaign, but also "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation."

4. The Charges Are Not All That Surprising

Manafort’s ties to the Ukrainian government have been public knowledge for some time. Manafort’s resignation from the Trump campaign was prompted by the revelation that Yakunovych had paid him some $12.7 million in off-the-books, cash payments between 2007 and 2012.

Even earlier, in March of 2016, Tymoshenko brought suit against Manafort, among others, alleging that he had worked to target her in a revenge scheme for her impeding the business of Ukrainian gas tycoon Dmitry Firtash.

Furthermore, Mueller’s interest in Manafort has been apparent for months. Back in August, the FBI raided Manafort’s home under the auspices of a warrant issued in connection with Mueller’s investigation.

In other words, the Manafort indictment does not tell us much that we did not already know, especially about to what extent—if any—the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

5. Conspiracy Against the United States Is Not What You Probably Think It Is

Manafort faces nine charges overall: one for false statements, two for his failure to register under FARA, five for money laundering and failure to disclose his accounts, and one charge, drawing a lot of attention, of "conspiracy against the United States." Out of context, this sounds like, well, conspiracy against the United States, a charge that to the naive reader sounds a lot like "treason."

The reality is far less dramatic. "Conspiracy against the United States" is a crime whereby "two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy."

The relevant portion of this section of the U.S. Code (18 U.S.C. § 371) is about conspiring to commit an offense against an agency of the United States. The first charge against Manafort and Gates alleges that they conspired to defraud the Department of Justice and of the Treasury—specifically, by laundering money and failing to register under FARA.

In other words, the charge of conspiracy is simply because the two men worked together; another charge to stack on top of the lengthy list brought by Mueller.

6. The Papadopoulos Problem

While the Manafort indictment is concerned with activities unrelated to the Trump campaign, the other indictment unsealed may be more problematic. George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the campaign, was arrested in July (his indictment was only unsealed on Monday), and has since pleaded guilty to charges of lying to the FBI about his communications with a professor with ties to the Russian government.

Specifically, Papadopoulos admitted to coordinating with the professor to set up a meeting—which is not known to have happened—between Trump and Vladimir Putin, as well as being told by the professor that the Russians were in possession of emails from Hillary Clinton. (Papadopoulos had initially lied to the FBI about this relationship, which is the source of the charges.)

It is unclear as of yet what the larger significance of Papadopoulos’s indictment is. However, it may point to other untoward connections between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, or toward problems for bigger targets of Mueller’s investigation.

Some anniversaries Hillary Clinton is NOT going to remind everybody about

**Written by Doug Powers

The traditional gift for a one-year anniversary is paper, so if you’re going to give Hillary Clinton a gift for this occasion, make it several boxes of tissues because she’s still crying about the election:

Saturday marked the one-year anniversary of when, with 11 days until Election Day, former FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to members of Congress informing them that the FBI learned of the “existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation” into then-Secretary of State Clinton’s use of a private email server.

“Oh is that today?” Clinton tweeted in response to FiveThirtyEight Editor-In-Chief Nate Silver’s tweet that Clinton would have won the 2016 election if not for Comey’s letter.

Hillary’s happy to have a pollster joining her in blaming the Comey letter for the fact they all totally misread America’s mood in 2016:

null

It’d be more helpful if Hillary could also help remind everybody when it’s the anniversary of a server being installed in her basement or the day hard drives were scrubbed, mobile devices hammered and gov’t emails were found on serial perv Anthony Weiner’s laptop — all things that sparked the investigation(s) in the first place. Or maybe Hill could serve up reminders when it’s the anniversary of the day she stood in coal country and pledged to put an entire industry out of work or called millions and millions of people deplorable. But of course not, because it’s always somebody else’s fault.

I can’t wait to see what Clinton says on the upcoming one-year anniversary of the election. She probably submitted a tweet for focus grouping months ago and it’ll no doubt be ready to go in a few days.
